Abstract

Cholesterol is an essential fat for mammalian cells, and its homeostasis is regulated. About 90% of the free cholesterol in cells is found in the plasma membrane. When cholesterol levels are excessive in the blood, cholesterol can accumulate as plaque on the artery walls, contributing to atherosclerosis. There are two types of cholesterol, namely HDL (High-Density Lipid) and LDL (Low-density Lipid). HDL cholesterol is needed by the body to protect against heart disease. On the other hand, the LDL cholesterol content should be lower because LDL can settle in the blood. After all, LDL can settle in the blood if the content is too high. Cholesterol can be prevented with juice and watermelon because there are two compounds, citrulline, and pectin, which can inhibit cholesterol biosynthesis and citrus fruits. After all, limes contain flavonoids, especially hesperidin. Flavonoids play a role in lowering LDL cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood, increasing HDL cholesterol, and preventing atherosclerosis. In addition, to reduce cholesterol levels, complementary obstetric care can be carried out through cholesterol massage, emphasizing the ST36 point for 3-5 minutes. The community midwifery practice carried out this time is located at TPMB Bdn Rini Mujayanti, S.Keb Jl. Masjid Al Akhyar RT 29/2 Gandul Cinere Depok. The target of this Community Midwifery Care is the elderly who have high cholesterol, as many as 18 people with high cholesterol ≥200, based on the results of examinations from July to October

Abstract

The potential of marine tourism, especially mangrove ecotourism, in Lembung Village, Pamekasan, has not been optimally promoted due to the limitations of conventional methods and minimal use of digital channels. This condition hinders the visibility and attractiveness of destinations in the digital era. This community service aims to initiate a digital transformation of Lembung Village tourism promotion by developing and implementing an integrated platform (mobile application and website) e-PesesserTour. The implementation method is participatory, involving local partners (Pokdarwis, BUMDes) in needs analysis, design, development, and implementation of the platform. The primary focus of implementation is increasing partner capacity through workshops and intensive mentoring in digital marketing strategies, content creation, and management of the e-PesesserTour platform (https://e-lembung-pesessertour.com) as a promotional tool. The results show the success of launching a functional, informative digital promotion platform that displays the village's attractions, including 3 new tour packages that have been developed. There was a significant increase in the digital capacity of partners, as evidenced by 90% of participants stating an increase in understanding of digital technology and an average score of post-training knowledge/skills tests reaching 85%. During the program implementation period, positive impacts were also observed in the form of an increase in tourist visits of up to 40%, an increase in BUMDes income of up to 50%, and a level of tourist satisfaction reaching 85%, some of which can be attributed to the rise in the quality of digital promotion and services. It was concluded that implementing the e-PesesserTour platform, supported by strengthening HR capacity, played a significant role as a catalyst for the digital transformation of Lembung Village tourism promotion, increasing the visibility and competitiveness of the destination sustainably.

Abstract

Awareness of the importance of sustainability reporting and carbon taxes is a significant issue for mining companies in Southeast Sulawesi. While contributing greatly to the local economy, these companies face environmental and social challenges. Sustainability reporting demonstrates a commitment to social and environmental responsibility, while carbon taxes encourage emissions reductions and the adoption of green technologies. However, implementation remains constrained by low management understanding and limited infrastructure. Studies show that the readiness of companies in this area is still low in facing these regulations. Intensive socialization is needed to increase company awareness and readiness. Collaboration between the government, companies and communities is essential to overcome this challenge. The objective of socialization is to improve companies' understanding of sustainability reporting and carbon tax, strengthening transparency, accountability, and positive contributions to the environment and society. The benefits include the integration of sustainability principles in business, increased transparency, strengthened accountability, increased investor confidence, asset management efficiency, and the application of better accounting standards.
