Abstract

Through current approaches in the social, economic and political spheres, recent research suggests Islamic religious education can provide a strong foundation for women in developing their potential and achieving gender equality. This research aims to explore the important role of Islamic religious education in empowering women socially, economically and politically and to provide a deeper understanding of its contribution to enhancing women's participation in public life. This research is a qualitative type of literature study by making library materials as the main data source, using the main reference to the phenomenon of the prophetic era and then correlating it with the related verses and stories listed in the Qur'an. The results showed that Islamic Religious Education has an important role in improving the quality of individuals. In addition, Islamic religious education does not provide rejection of the role of women in any aspect. Therefore, the Qur'an also explicitly says about equality between men and women.

Abstract

Science has specific components, such as objects, statements, propositions, and characteristics. These four aspects are the focus of three philosophical foundations: ontology, epistemology, and axiology. This article is written to discuss science from a philosophical perspective, namely ontology, epistemology, and axiology. In this article, the author uses the literature study method by reviewing various books and other scholarly works relevant to the topic discussed. From the analysis, it can be concluded that ontology focuses on the nature of "being." In ontological studies, science aims to prove and examine the existence of a particular knowledge. Epistemology addresses the foundation of knowledge, including its sources, characteristics, truth, and methods of acquisition. From the epistemological perspective, the discussion of science centers on the sources and methods used by scientists to develop knowledge. Axiology deals with the relationship between science and values, evaluating the appropriateness of developing certain knowledge based on existing values.

Abstract

Prayer is the main worship for a Muslim, throughout life cannot be replaced like other worship. In the hadith text, the Prophet's guidance is mentioned in an effort to educate children to pray. However, it gets a bad perception because it is considered permissive to acts of violence on children. So this study intends to elaborate on the validity of the hadith text in the Abu Daud narration and reveal its meaning and the scholars' understanding of it through the takhrij approach and fiqh al-hadith. This research is a literature research by taking a qualitative-analytical approach. It can be concluded that the hadith text in question meets the category of saheeh hadith because the sanad is connected to the Prophet and the narrators are considered positive. As for the meaning and meaning of the hadith, it is not a proof of the legality of harsh treatment of children, but is understood as a way to educate and discipline children in matters of prayer. The word "spanking" can also be understood majazi, namely with all kinds of forms of discipline for children even without physical action.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze whether academic motivation and discipline partiallyand simultaneously affect students' academic performance. This study is a quantitative study with a path analysis design used to examine direct or indirect effects between study variables. The subjects of this study were teachers and students of the Aqidah Akhlak department at MA Nurul Jihad Tembilahan Hulu. Data collection was used in the form of questionnaires and tests. And the data analysis used by the researchers is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study are as follows: 1) there is no significant effect between learning motivation and student learning outcomes, 2) there is a significant effect between learning discipline and student learning outcomes, and 3) there is an effect between learning motivation and learning discipline on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Islamic religious education plays a crucial role in shaping the character and morality of individuals in the context of formal education. In the growing digital era, the use of blended learning has become popular and raising the need to develop an appropriate learning evaluation. This research aims to develop an evaluation of Islamic learning in the context of blended learning with wordwall media using the Smith and Ragan model. a developmental research design method was used to analyse the learning context, student needs, and learning tasks, in addition the strategy and assessment phases are also crucial stages of this development process. Data were obtained through interviews, observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Research instruments included questionnaires, interview guides, and observation lists, which were then analysed using qualitative and descriptive quantitative approaches. Drawing from the analysis findings, a dynamic and participatory assessment approach was formulated, leveraging the wordwall platform. Additionally, strategies for structuring, executing, and overseeing evaluations were devised to guarantee their efficacy. The results show that the development of this evaluation has the potential to improve the quality of sslamic learning in the digital era by providing a more diverse, effective and engaging learning experience for students. This research makes a significant contribution to the literature on the use of technology in Islamic religious education in blended learning.

Abstract

The development of educational curricula at Islamic educational institutions greatly determines the quality of these institutions. This research aims to analyze and describe the development of the educational curriculum at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Insan Cendikia Serpong Jakarta. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach, while data collection techniques in this research use observation, interviews and documentation, with data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that MAN Insan Scholar Serpong (MAN IC Serpong) is a model of secondary education unit that integrates Islamic Religious Education with science and technology in a balanced manner. This approach aims to be a pioneer in overcoming the divide between religious knowledge and science and technology. The advantages of MAN IC Serpong can be seen in curriculum development, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) based management, learning facilities, professionally managed dormitories, and daily communication using Indonesian and international languages.

Abstract

Islamic education has a central role in shaping individual character and morality, as well as contributing to society based on Islamic values. The management of quality management and accreditation of Islamic education is crucial in facing global challenges, with a focus on quality involving academic aspects and Islamic values. Accreditation is not only a standard of quality but also reflects the institution's commitment to continuous improvement. This article explores the key roles of quality management and accreditation, identifies challenges and details opportunities in the context of Islamic education. The research method includes a theoretical literature review, analysis of Islamic education policies, as well as a literature study of quality management guidelines. With a holistic approach, the research provides in-depth understanding to enhance the contribution of Islamic education institutions in shaping quality generations globally.

Abstract

In the era of Industry 4.0, technology is rapidly transforming the way we learn. TikTok, a popular social media platform, allows users to create and share short videos, including those on Islamic topics. This digital revolution has significantly impacted Islamic religious education, making TikTok an appealing medium for Millennials and Generation Z. Beyond being a source of entertainment, TikTok serves as an effective digital learning tool. Educators can creatively and concisely convey Islamic teachings. TikTok enables dynamic interaction, and its recommendation algorithm helps users find relevant content. However, its use must be wise to ensure that religious values are accurately conveyed. This research aims to explore the benefits of social media, particularly the use of TikTok, in communicating Islamic religious content as an innovative approach to digital learning in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The research method used is qualitative with a library research approach. The results of this study indicate that TikTok features such as TikTok stories, feeds, reels, and TikTok live have the potential to innovate in learning, making Islamic religious education more engaging by presenting material through different media and methods.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of public relations (PR) management in enhancing community participation at MAN 1 Merangin. The research employs a qualitative approach with a field study method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using triangulation techniques. The findings of the study reveal the following: first, the planning of PR management to increase community participation at MAN 1 Merangin is carried out through PR work meetings and providing information to the community about program implementation while identifying community needs. Second, the implementation of PR activities to enhance community participation at MAN 1 Merangin is conducted through the promotion of the school via media channels. Third, PR evaluation at MAN 1 Merangin is conducted using two methods: direct evaluation and quarterly evaluations (before the odd semester, after the odd semester, and before class promotion). The evaluation covers both active and passive participation.

Abstract

A marriage cannot be separated from the consequences of providing maintenance from a husband to his wife and children. At the level of reality, the provision of maintenance is often a polemic and a source of problems in family life. It is even used as an excuse to end the marriage relationship or delay the marriage. The data shows that of the existing number of divorces, the reason for maintenance is one of the highest causes, as well as the decline in marriage rates due to a feeling of lack of stability on the part of prospective husbands. For this reason, this study seeks to explore the theological guidance from the Qur'an and Hadith regarding the standardization of the obligation of maintenance from a husband to his family. This research is conducted with a maudhu'i or thematic interpretation approach. From this research it was found that in the Qur'an and hadith there is no standard provision regarding the amount of nafkah that must be given, but rather adjusts to the ability and condition of the husband. If it is in a spacious situation, then nafkah should be given with a spacious amount. Conversely, if it is in a tight situation, it should be adjusted.
