Abstract

This article analyzes the effectiveness of the management of educators and education personnel in improving the quality of education at SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya. Management of educators and education personnel is one of the efforts made by the Education Office in achieving educational goals to create superior generations of successors in facing the current technological era. Improving the quality of educators and education personnel is needed so that the process of implementing learning and teaching activities in an educational institution can run optimally and efficiently. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative which focuses on data collection techniques by conducting interviews with selected sources. The results of this study indicate the effectiveness of management carried out in improving the quality of teaching and education personnel at SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya.

Abstract

Management of educators and education personnel is a key aspect of personnel management in educational institutions, with strategies for managing teacher and educator staff being the main focus for achieving quality learning. Professional development is also crucial in improving the competence and quality of trainers, while evaluation of their activities is necessary to monitor and improve performance. This study uses the literature method, with data collected through library data, reading, and managing research materials. The findings of this study show that effective human resource management strategies involve careful planning, thorough training and development, and regular performance evaluation. The implementation of education policies that focus on quality learning requires cross-departmental cooperation and active participation from various stakeholders. Environmental and organizational factors, including management, regulation, human resources, infrastructure, relationships, collaboration and changes in the external environment, also influence the effectiveness of HRM in educational institutions. By understanding the importance of educator and education personnel management and implementing effective HRM strategies, educational institutions can create a quality and competitive learning environment. This will positively impact the quality of education provided to students and help achieve broader educational goals.

Abstract

This article discusses ABK in Islamic psychology. The aim is to find out the extent to which Islam views ABK, as well as finding out educational solutions for ABK from an Islamic perspective. This research uses a literature review approach from several book sources, journal articles and websites. The results of the research show ABK's views on Islam, solutions to Islamic education for ABK, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors for Islamic education for ABK.

Abstract

The project method is a way of teaching that provides students with the opportunity to use daily life units as learning material and aims to make students interested in learning. The project learning method is a teaching and learning activity whose process is based on inquiry. In this learning, the focus is on complex questions and problems. Then answer questions or solve problems through an investigative process carried out collaboratively over time. Most projects are carried out by investigating authentic issues and topics found outside of school. During the inquiry process, students learn the content, information and facts needed to draw conclusions from each question. During the process students also learn valuable skills and thinking habits. The project-based learning method is a learning method that uses problems as the first step in collecting and integrating new knowledge based on experience in real activities. Then the problem is solved in groups. In this learning, students are able to find their own solutions to the products/tasks given. Project-based learning methods can increase students' learning motivation in Islamic religious education, project-based learning methods can facilitate more active learning experiences.

Abstract

In early childhood development, psychology is an important component that an educator, especially an Islamic religious education teacher, must know. In today's open era, if a child does not have aqidah and strong faith, he will become a victim of social media which contains many elements of promiscuity. If this continues from day to day, year after year, it will hinder the correct understanding of the straight path and there will be great fear of losing one's identity as a Muslim. Therefore, educational methods are needed that are in accordance with a child's nature and in accordance with his or her soul so that he or she can grow into a person with noble character. The method of training children is the most important and most important thing. Children are a trust for their parents. Every child is born with a natural belief in the existence of God Almighty. So parents play an important role in educating their children religiously, in this case Islamic education that is appropriate to the child's development and psychology. Among the roles of Islamic Educational Psychology in children's education are: a) Developing children's responsible abilities and self-confidence; b) Establishing a good relationship between educators (parents) and children; c) Foster motivation in the child; d) educators already understand the methods that must be used when teaching; e) Children and parents can understand their respective duties and roles.

Abstract

Junior High School or mostly called SMP, is often referred to as a transitional period. During this time, students often face challenges and difficulties that require guidance and counseling services to help them navigate this crucial stage. However, limited access to guidance and counseling services prevents students from receiving optimal support. This can lead to various problems, including unaddressed student issues, declining academic performance, and impaired mental health. Therefore, strategic steps are needed to strengthen guidance and counseling services in SMP.This study employs a qualitative library research method. Based on data analysis, it is concluded that guidance and counseling in SMP need to be strengthened to ensure optimal delivery of services. The following are strategic steps for strengthening guidance and counseling services in SMP: (1) Increasing the number of guidance and counseling teachers. (2)Enhancing the professionalism of guidance and counseling teachers. (3)Developing infrastructure and resources. (4)Implementing a comprehensive and systematic guidance and counseling program. (5)Establishing collaboration with internal and external stakeholders of the school. It is expected that by strengthening these services, guidance and counseling can be effectively delivered, creating a conducive learning environment, and supporting holistic student development.

Abstract

Management of Educators and Education Personnel is one of the characteristic indicators of the quality of a school. In the management of educators and education personnel there are also Planning Strategies for Improving the Performance of Educators and Education Personnel which have an influence on the potential for developing the performance of educators in schools. The aim of this research is to describe school principals' strategies for improving the quality of education starting from planning, implementation, to evaluation. The method used to obtain the results of this article is using qualitative methods, namely by conducting interviews and observations. The results of this research show that (1) what strategies are carried out by SMPN 40 Surabaya to be able to develop the performance of teaching and education staff, (2) to find out how to process teaching and education staff effectively, (3) to find out what the separate assessment criteria are for performance of SMPN 40 Surabaya teachers, (4) to find out how the principal's strategy is to work together with the committee to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

This research aims to explore moral education from Buya Hamka's perspective and understand the methods used in character development. The method employed is qualitative, specifically library research. The findings suggest that education, according to Buya Hamka, involves inner behavior that can change; thus, when based on religious principles, it leads to good behavior, and vice versa. In the process of character development, parents and educators can utilize methods such as understanding, habituation (ta'widiyah), exemplification (uswatun hasanah), advice (mau’izhah al-hasanah), and storytelling (qishah).

Abstract

This study aims to understand the process, strategies, and obstacles related to the placement and assignment of education personnel at SMPN 18 Surabaya. The method used is descriptive qualitative, involving the principal, head of administration as the main source of information, vice principal, and teaching staff as additional sources of information. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results showed that the placement and assignment of educators and education personnel are regulated by the provisions of the Education Office because SMPN 18 Surabaya is a public school under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Culture. The placement is carried out by considering the educational background, work experience, attitude, and appearance of prospective education personnel, as well as factors such as rank, domicile, and age. Obstacles in placement include discipline problems and less than optimal utilisation of educational resources. Meanwhile, obstacles in the assignment of education personnel include the low performance of teaching staff, lack of supervision, and the inability to improve educational resources.

Abstract

This article aims to study the management of relations between society and Islamic educational institutions through literature study. Data was collected through literature search from books, articles, and journals related to the research topic. In this study, several factors that influence the management of relations between the community and Islamic educational institutions will be examined, such as openness and transparency in decision making, community participation in decision making, and the use of appropriate information and communication technology. The results showed that the management of relations between the community and Islamic educational institutions is very important in strengthening the mutually supportive relationship between the community and Islamic educational institutions. Community participation in decision-making can strengthen the relationship between the community and Islamic educational institutions. In addition, the use of information and communication technology can facilitate the process of relationship management between the community and Islamic educational institutions. This research also shows that the management of relations between the community and Islamic educational institutions can improve the quality of education organized by Islamic educational institutions. With community support and participation, Islamic educational institutions can be more responsive to the needs and expectations of the community in providing quality Islamic education.
