Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pembentukan karakter religius siswa kelas V MI Uways Alqorni Pekanbaru melalui pendidikan ekstrakurikuler tahfizh. Dalam konteks pendidikan, karakter religius menjadi elemen penting yang mendukung perkembangan moral dan spiritual siswa. Kegiatan tahfizh di sekolah ini dirancang untuk tidak hanya mengajarkan keterampilan menghafal Al-Qur'an, tetapi juga untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai agama yang kuat dalam diri siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan siswa, guru, dan orang tua. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi dalam kegiatan tahfizh berkontribusi signifikan terhadap pembentukan karakter religius. Siswa yang terlibat aktif menunjukkan peningkatan disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan rasa cinta terhadap Al-Qur'an. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa lingkungan belajar yang mendukung dan interaksi positif antara siswa dan pendidik memainkan peran penting dalam proses pembentukan karakter. Dengan demikian, pendidikan ekstrakurikuler tahfizh di MI Uways Alqorni tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana pengembangan kemampuan akademis, tetapi juga sebagai wadah untuk membentuk generasi yang berakhlak mulia dan religius. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya integrasi pendidikan karakter dalam kurikulum ekstrakurikuler di sekolah-sekolah Islam.

Abstract

This study examines the conditions of learning and instruction as core components of the educational process. Learning is defined as a relatively permanent change in behavior resulting from experience, while instruction refers to the systematic interaction between educators, learners, and learning resources within a specific environment to achieve educational goals. The study uses a qualitative library research method to review educational theories, particularly the perspective of Robert Gagne. Gagne classifies learning outcomes into five categories: intellectual skills, cognitive strategies, verbal information, motor skills, and attitudes. In addition, the study discusses internal and external factors that influence learning and instructional conditions. Understanding these aspects is expected to help educators design more effective and contextual instructional strategies.

Abstract

This paper discusses Islam and globalization, utilizing a qualitative method through a descriptive-analytical and thematic (maudhui) interpretation approach. The data used are qualitative in nature, non-numerical, with the primary source being the Quran, and secondary sources including literature related to the research topic such as books, classical texts, articles, journals, and other references. The reality of globalization has a significant impact on individuals in their daily lives. The appropriate response to this phenomenon should be wise and cautious. Islam is a universal and global religion that plays a role in addressing the challenges of globalization. The universality of Islam demonstrates its profound influence on the future of the world. This universality can be seen in various aspects such as its cosmopolitan cultural teachings, holistic social structure, and scientific advancement. Islam also possesses the capacity to address issues in the fields of economy, technology, education, and other areas.Islam strongly emphasizes that Muslims should not fall into imitation or rejection in the negative context of globalization. Instead, it aligns with Islamic values, tolerance, and understanding of real-world conditions, thereby teaching how to act wisely and objectively.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine whether there is an influence of student-teacher trust on student well-being at SMKN X Kota Bekasi. This research employed a quantitative method. A total of 121 tenth-grade students from SMKN X Kota Bekasi participated as respondents, using probability sampling with cluster sampling as the sampling technique. The measurement tools used in this study were the student well-being scale and the student-teacher trust scale, with data collected using a Likert scale distributed via Google Form. The correlation results showed that student-teacher trust and student well-being were positively correlated with a coefficient of 0.481. The normality test indicated a significance value of p > 0.05, meaning the data were normally distributed. The linear regression test yielded a significant result with a p-value < .001, thus the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. It was concluded that student-teacher trust has an influence on student well-being among tenth-grade students at SMKN X Kota Bekasi.

Abstract

The competence of educators is one of the major factors in determining the quality of education in an institution. Quality educator personnel not only master the subject matter but also possess pedagogical competencies that can support the learning process. This is listed in Law no. 14 Year 2005 on Teachers and Lecturers that teachers are professional educators who have the primary task of educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training, assessing, and evaluating learners. The study aimed to analyze the pedagogical competencies of an educator in carrying out his/her duties and responsibilities in schools. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative approach through interviews with a teacher. The results of the study show that the diverse characteristics of students demand teachers to be able to understand them where it is necessary in designing suitable lesson strategies. Teachers adapt methods, media, and forms of assessment to suit students diverse learning styles. Challenges faced by teachers in the learning process such as character differences, social media, and time constraints can be overcome with a professional approach. Within the learning process lie strategies that are not only in delivering the material, but also in shaping students character and social skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze various bilingual learning models implemented in primary schools and evaluate their effects on students learning outcomes and communication skills. Through a literature review of journals, books, and scientific documents, it was found that bilingual learning models such as submersion, structured immersion, transition, enrichment immersion, cooperative bilingual, and Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) each present unique advantages and challenges. The transition model and cooperative bilingual model are considered most suitable for primary school students, as they take into account children's linguistic, cognitive, and psychosocial development. The analysis reveals that implementing bilingual learning has a positive impact on language proficiency, critical thinking skills, and students' confidence in using a foreign language, particularly English. However, several challenges hinder effective implementation, including limited teacher proficiency in both languages, varying student language abilities, and a lack of teaching resources and professional training. Therefore, effective implementation strategies, systemic school support, and the development of adaptive bilingual models are necessary to enhance the quality of primary education in Indonesia. This study is expected to contribute to the development of more effective and contextually relevant bilingual teaching practices.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis berbagai faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat kedisiplinan siswa di SMP Al Washliyah 5 H. Perak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan wawancara mendalam yang dilakukan terhadap guru dan siswa, sehingga dapat menggali perspektif dan pengalaman langsung dari kedua belah pihak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor seperti lingkungan sekolah, peran orang tua, dan motivasi individu siswa memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kedisiplinan. Selain itu, interaksi antara guru dan siswa juga terbukti memainkan peran penting dalam menciptakan suasana belajar yang kondusif. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi pihak sekolah dalam merumuskan strategi peningkatan kedisiplinan siswa dan menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang lebih baik. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini tidak hanya berkontribusi pada pengembangan teori pendidikan, tetapi juga memberikan rekomendasi praktis untuk implementasi di lapangan.

Abstract

Environmental permit control in national strategic projects (PSN) plays a crucial role in maintaining the balance between development and environmental protection. Administrative law is essential in regulating licensing mechanisms, ensuring compliance with regulations, and mitigating negative impacts on ecosystems and surrounding communities. This article discusses administrative law concepts, environmental permit issuance procedures, and the role of government institutions, including the Ministry of Environment and Forestry and local governments, in supervision and law enforcement. Case study analysis of several PSNs reveals legal challenges such as transparency, accountability, and conflicts of interest frequently encountered in the permitting process. Additionally, policy implications for project sustainability and community welfare are examined. By considering legal and social aspects, this article offers recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of environmental permit administration through policy reforms, strengthened oversight, and increased public participation. This research provides insights for improving PSN permitting systems to ensure sustainable development while aligning with environmental protection principles.

Abstract

Financial stability refers to the condition of a company's financial health in which it is able to allocate its financial resources effectively to prevent disruptions to the financial system. This study examines the effect of leverage, profitability, and liquidity on the financial stability of companies in the property and real estate industry, with corporate governance serving as a moderating variable. The data used in this research are derived from the annual reports of property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2019–2023. The study involves a population of 150 companies, from which a sample of 30 companies was selected over a five-year analysis period. Data analysis was conducted using panel data regression with the assistance of EViews 12 software. Overall, this research makes a significant contribution to the financial management literature, particularly in understanding the role of company characteristics in strengthening the relationship between financial performance indicators and corporate stability. The findings are also expected to serve as a strategic reference for company management and investors in making more prudent and data-driven financial decisions.

Abstract

Coastal change is a common phenomenon in various coastal areas around the world. This phenomenon can be caused by natural factors such as waves, ocean currents, tides, and climate change, which lead to rising sea levels. In addition, human activities such as coastal land conversion, infrastructure development, and exploitation of natural resources can also drive coastal change. These changes can occur in the form of damage, which can cause reduction or accumulation, and increase land area due to sedimentation. The impact of these changes not only threatens coastal ecosystems, but also affects the lives of people who rely on coastal livelihoods. Asahan Regency, located on the east coast of North Sumatra, is one of the areas where the coastline has undergone significant changes. Various factors, both natural and human-induced, contribute to the dynamics of the coast in the region.
