Abstract

Land issues in the coastal areas of Anyer District, Serang Regency, exhibit structural and complex characteristics characterized by weak legal certainty over land, low community legal literacy, weak village land administration, and increasing land mafia practices along with the rising economic value of land due to the development of tourism and investment. These conditions place coastal communities in a vulnerable position to land disputes and loss of land rights. This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to increase awareness and legal protection for coastal communities through land law counseling as a preventive effort to prevent disputes and land mafia practices. The implementation method uses an educational and participatory approach that includes local context-based legal counseling, interactive discussions, and simple legal consultations. The results of the activity demonstrated a significant increase in public understanding and legal awareness regarding the importance of land certification and orderly land administration. Legal counseling also played a role in increasing community bargaining power in addressing land conflicts. This activity concluded that land legal counseling is a strategic instrument in building community legal resilience and sustainably preventing land mafia practices.

The implementation methods include socialization and counseling on corruption issues and integrity values, interactive discussions, the presentation of case studies related to students’ daily lives, and evaluation through question-and-answer sessions and simple questionnaire distribution. The results indicate an improvement in students’ understanding of the concept of corruption and the importance of integrity, as well as increased awareness in applying these values within the school environment and daily life. Abstract

Reading Comprehension is the skill or ability to comprehend what is read. When reading, students sometimes have difficulty understanding what the author is conveying from a text that has been prepared. Through this ability, a person can understand what the author means, then construct their own meaning and understanding of the reading. For example, someone reading an article online about the health benefits of drinking coconut water. In the article, the reader encounters several difficult-to-understand texts. This could be new vocabulary or the meaning behind the text. Through reading comprehension, the reader can gradually understand it well and rewrite the article according to their understanding. As previously mentioned.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate and implement appropriate business strategies for Vifloristt, an online florist MSME in Subang, to strengthen competitiveness in the digital market. A qualitative descriptive method was used through interviews, observation of digital activities, and document review. Internal and external conditions were analyzed using the SWOT framework supported by IFAS and EFAS matrices. The results show that Vifloristt has strengths in creative product design, responsive services, and brand recognition, while weaknesses include limited resources and simple financial recording systems. Externally, the growth of online shopping and social-media promotion creates strong opportunities, although intense competition and fluctuating raw-material prices remain threats. Strategic recommendations are formulated to optimize strengths, reduce weaknesses, and support sustainable business growth.

Abstract

Coastal areas are vulnerable to environmental health problems, particularly those related to sanitation, clean water access, and domestic waste management. Poor environmental conditions contribute to the increased risk of environment-based diseases such as diarrhea and skin infections. This community service activity aimed to develop environmental health recommendations for coastal areas based on secondary data analysis. The method used was descriptive analysis of secondary data obtained from health profiles, statistical reports, and regional development planning documents. The analysis showed gaps between existing environmental health conditions and ideal health standards. Based on these findings, environmental health intervention recommendations focusing on disease prevention, health education, and strengthening primary health services were formulated. These recommendations are expected to support stakeholders in planning sustainable environmental health programs in coastal areas.

Abstract

This community service program aims to increase legal literacy and awareness among the Walantaka District community regarding the practice of illegal polygamy and marriage without the consent of the legal wife, which are classified as criminal offenses under Article 279 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) and Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage. Illegal polygamy remains prevalent due to a lack of legal understanding, a patriarchal culture, and the perception that marriage is a private matter. The program's implementation methods included legal counseling, focus group discussions, legal consultations, and assistance to the community and victims. The results of the program indicate an increase in public understanding of the legal consequences of illegal polygamy and the legal rights of legal wives as victims. This activity also encouraged the community to report violations of marital law through the criminal offense mechanism. This program contributes to strengthening legal awareness, women's protection, and the effectiveness of law enforcement at the local level.

Abstract

Solar energy technology is one of the most rapidly advancing renewable energy solutions aimed at meeting electricity demands in a sustainable manner. This technology converts sunlight into electrical energy through two primary approaches: the photovoltaic (PV) system, which utilizes solar panels to directly transform sunlight into electricity, and the Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) system, which uses mirrors or lenses to concentrate solar heat for electricity generation. The main advantage of solar energy lies in its environmentally friendly nature, as it does not produce carbon emissions or harmful greenhouse gases. Moreover, solar energy is derived from the sun—a renewable and abundant source that will not deplete. Economically, solar technology offers long-term cost efficiency; after the initial installation, operational costs are relatively low and can significantly reduce or eliminate electricity bills. The versatility of solar applications is another key benefit, as it can be used for various needs, ranging from household systems to large-scale industrial projects. With these advantages, solar energy stands as a strategic alternative in supporting the transition toward a cleaner, more sustainable energy system and environmentally friendly, especially within the environment of Mpu Tantular University in Jakarta.

Abstract

The Jakarta Province has undergone significant changes in urban planning and land use. The increasing population is one factor driving changes in land use. This population increase is accompanied by a growing demand for jobs, decent housing, and a comfortable and safe environment. Limited land has led to widespread misuse of land. Jakarta currently lacks green open spaces (RTH) and water catchment areas, leading to the development of slums in these areas. Several environmental and social issues continue to arise in the city, including annual flooding, clean water shortages, pollution, and health problems, as well as frequent clashes between residents. One solution to address these issues is to increase the number of RTH and green open spaces, thereby improving environmental quality
