Abstract

This study presents a systematic literature review of research published between 2020 and 2025 examining the effectiveness of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in enhancing students’ mathematical creative thinking. The review synthesizes findings from peer-reviewed journal articles that investigated PBL within various educational contexts, including its integration with STEM frameworks, digital learning platforms, and the Indonesian Merdeka Curriculum. Data were collected through document analysis and literature tracing, followed by thematic synthesis to identify convergent findings across studies. The analysis reveals that PBL significantly improves key indicators of mathematical creative thinking—fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration—by engaging students in authentic, inquiry-driven problem-solving processes. Studies integrating PBL with digital tools such as GeoGebra and Google Classroom reported additional gains in originality and elaboration, demonstrating the benefits of technologically enriched, student-centered learning environments. STEM-based PBL further supported conceptual exploration and interdisciplinary reasoning. Beyond cognitive outcomes, the reviewed literature highlights improvements in students’ motivation, collaboration, and self-efficacy, which serve as affective foundations for creativity. Overall, the findings position PBL as a transformative pedagogical model aligned with 21st-century learning demands, offering strong potential for fostering creative, autonomous, and critical mathematical thinkers. Future research is recommended to explore long-term impacts and AI-supported PBL innovations.

Abstract

Rabies is one of the strategic zoonotic diseases caused by rabies virus of the genus Lyssavirus, family Rhabdoviridae, which remains a significant public health threat in Bali Province. Control measures through mass dog vaccination programs, education, and regulatory interventions have been implemented since 2009; however, challenges persist due to resource limitations and suboptimal community participation. This research aims to explore the application of Community-Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM) as a strategy for rabies mitigation through a disaster management approach. The research methodology employed a literature review of articles indexed in Scopus and Sinta databases, reports from international organizations, and national and regional policy documents from the period 2015–2025. The findings of this review indicate that CBDRM has the potential to strengthen community capacity, establish cross-sectoral networks, and enhance collective community awareness in rabies prevention. These findings affirm that strengthening community capacity through CBDRM can serve as a sustainable framework for zoonotic disease mitigation in Bali, while simultaneously expanding the disaster management paradigm into the field of veterinary public health.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of social relations and forms of adaptation of local communities to the presence of the mining company PT. Bumi Suksesindo (PT BSI) in Sumberagung Village, Pesanggaran District, Banyuwangi Regency. The presence of the gold mining industry has significantly changed the social, economic, and cultural structure of the community. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, through data collection techniques in the form of field observations, in-depth interviews with the community, company officials, and government officials, as well as documentation. Data analysis was conducted interactively through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the social relationship between the community and PT BSI is dynamic and complex, reflecting a process of negotiation between economic, social, and ecological interests. The community showed three main patterns of response to the presence of the mine: (1) cooperative, through involvement in corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs; (2) adaptive, by adjusting economic and social activities to changes in their living space; and (3) resistant, through rejection or criticism of the perceived environmental and social impacts. These patterns form a layered configuration of social relations between the community, the company, and the government, in which processes of accommodation and conflict occur simultaneously. This study concludes that the success of social relations between mining companies and local communities is highly dependent on two-way communication, policy transparency, and respect for the social values and local wisdom of the community. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of participatory social interaction models as the basis for equitable and sustainable community-corporate relationship management in mining areas

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the differences in the influence of self-efficacy on entrepreneurial orientation among vocational high school (SMK) students based on family background, namely entrepreneurial families and non-entrepreneurial families. The background of this study is based on the high unemployment rate among SMK graduates and empirical findings that families play an important role in shaping entrepreneurial character. The research method used was a comparative quantitative approach involving 92 respondents consisting of 46 students from entrepreneurial families and 46 students from non-entrepreneurial families. The research instrument measured self-efficacy and three dimensions of entrepreneurial orientation: innovativeness, risk-taking, and proactiveness. Data analysis was performed through classical assumption testing and simple linear regression in each group. The results showed that self-efficacy had a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial orientation in both groups. However, the strength of this effect differed markedly. In the entrepreneurial group, the R Square value reached 0.545 for Y₁ and 0.465 for Y₂, indicating that self-efficacy is a strong predictor of entrepreneurial orientation. Conversely, in the non-entrepreneurial group, the R Square value was only around 0.248, indicating that most of the variation in entrepreneurial orientation was explained by other factors. These findings indicate that entrepreneurial family experiences and environments strengthen the relationship between self-efficacy and entrepreneurial orientation. This study emphasises the important role of the family in shaping entrepreneurial character and has implications for vocational schools to strengthen experience-based learning for students without an entrepreneurial family background.

Abstract

Labuan Bajo, with its stunning natural beauty, has become one of Indonesia’s premier tourism destinations. The Komodo Islands, exotic beaches, and rich local culture attract visitors from around the world. However, behind this beauty, Labuan Bajo also faces potential natural disaster threats, particularly in several areas such as Gorontalo Village. This village is located in a coastal zone that is vulnerable to tsunami risks. Therefore, it is crucial for the government and local community to improve awareness of tsunami hazards and to prepare effective mitigation measures. To minimize the adverse impacts of a potential tsunami disaster in Gorontalo Village, it is necessary to identify and recommend additional locations for installing tsunami evacuation signs.

Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in advancing the nation and improving the quality of human resources in Indonesia. However, the education gap remains a major issue that needs to be addressed immediately, both in terms of access, quality, and outcomes. This article examines various forms of education gaps, such as differences in access between urban and rural areas, obstacles to access to education for women, disparities in education quality between elite private and public schools, and variations in learning outcomes as reflected in student participation and achievement levels. This research uses a literature review method, analyzing recent sources from the past ten years to identify the causes, challenges, and solutions. The study reveals that the gap is caused by socioeconomic, geographic, and cultural factors, as well as imbalances in policies and resources. Therefore, addressing the education gap requires a comprehensive approach, encompassing quality improvement in disadvantaged areas, equitable access to technology, teacher training, and the implementation of fair and inclusive policies. It is hoped that these efforts will create quality education and equal opportunities for all Indonesian children, regardless of social or geographic background.

Abstract

Marketing in the digital era has evolved with the advent of social media-based marketing strategies. Social media-based marketing strategies are becoming increasingly important for both large companies and MSMEs in building purchase intention for their products. Yotta, a well-known beverage brand in Makassar, presents a digital campaign with the tagline #SemangatYo. The #SemangatYo digital campaign is a form of Yotta's initiative to increase consumer visibility and engagement through digital platforms. This study aims to analyze the influence of social proof, brand advocacy, digital campaigns, and digital literacy on Instagram in building purchase intention for Yotta. This study uses quantitative methods with techniquesnon probability samplingwith the type of sample taken in the research, namelypurposive sampling. This study was conducted through an online questionnaire with 97 respondents from Generation Y and Generation Z who had purchased Yotta products, followed Yotta's Instagram account, and resided in South Sulawesi. Data analysis techniques used classical assumption tests and multiple regression analysis to examine the influence of independent variables (social proof, brand advocacy, digital campaigns, digital literacy) on the dependent variable (purchase intention). The results of the study indicate that the four independent variables simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on Yotta's purchase intention among generation Y and generation Z in South Sulawesi. Partially, the social proof and brand advocacy variables on Yotta's Instagram do not have a positive and significant influence on Yotta's purchase intention among generation Y and generation Z in South Sulawesi. Meanwhile, the digital campaign and digital literacy variables on Yotta's Instagram partially have a positive and significant influence on Yotta's purchase intention among generation Y and generation Z in South Sulawesi. Then the coefficient of determination has a value of 81.5% which indicates that there is 81.5% of the influence of social proof, brand advocacy, digital campaigns, and digital literacy simultaneously on purchase intention while the remaining 18.5% is influenced by other variables that are not used as variables in this study.

Abstract

This theoretical review examines how Green Awareness and Green Brand Image jointly influence eco-friendly consumer decision-making. Drawing on recent literature, the study synthesizes cognitive and perceptual mechanisms that guide consumers in evaluating sustainable products. The review finds that Green Awareness strengthens consumers’ understanding of environmental issues, while Green Brand Image provides credibility cues that build trust and reduce uncertainty. Together, these constructs interact synergistically to motivate eco-friendly purchase decisions. However, challenges such as greenwashing, socio-economic constraints, and cultural differences may weaken this relationship. The review contributes to sustainability marketing theory by offering an integrated conceptual understanding and outlining directions for future research.

Abstract

This study examines the optimization of Instagram features as a digital marketing strategy for Bersama Outdoor Rent, an SME operating in the outdoor equipment rental and adventure service sector. Using a qualitative case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation of the Instagram account, and analysis of supporting documentation. The findings reveal that Instagram features are utilized unevenly; Feed posts and Direct Messages are optimized effectively for visual branding and transactional communication, while other features such as Stories, Highlights, hashtags, and especially Reels remain underutilized. The lack of structured content planning, irregular updates, and limited analytics-based evaluation hinder the business from achieving broader reach and higher engagement. These results highlight that effective digital marketing on Instagram requires strategic planning, systematic feature integration, and consistent performance monitoring. The study provides practical insights for SMEs seeking to maximize Instagram’s potential as a primary digital marketing platform.

Abstract

Economic resilience is analyzed as an integral component of national defense in the defense of unconventional threats such as economic wars, cyberattacks, and geopolitical pressures. The capacity of states to defend sovereignty, adapt to change, and mitigate the impact of external attacks that disrupt social and political stability is the focus of this study. The relationship between economic resilience, fiscal policy, diversification of economic sectors, and strengthening technological infrastructure, including cyber defense, is highlighted as interrelated elements to maintain economic stability and national security. This study examines adaptive response and policy strategies, including intersectoral collaboration and international cooperation, to anticipate the complex dynamics of global economic threats. The findings indicate that the synergy of planned economic policies with a comprehensive defense strategy can strengthen national capabilities to respond to non-military threats, maintain internal stability, and improve the country's geopolitical position.
