Abstract

Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas empat di SDN Mantuil 4 kurang aktif, kurang termotivasi, dan kurang memahami sains dengan baik. Hal ini disebabkan karena siswa masih hanya mendengarkan guru saat belajar, sehingga tidak sepenuhnya terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melibatkan guru dan siswa lebih banyak lagi dan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa serta motivasi mereka untuk belajar. Penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini dilakukan sebanyak tiga kali pertemuan. Sebanyak lima belas siswa kelas IV SDN Mantuil 4 Banjarmasin menjadi subjek penelitian pada tahun ajaran 2023-2024. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Tes tertulis individual digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data kuantitatif, sementara observasi tindakan guru dan siswa digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data kualitatif. Data kualitatif dan kuantitatif digunakan untuk penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa 91% guru menghadiri pertemuan ketiga, yang termasuk dalam kelompok "sangat baik". Hal ini terjadi ketika model Problem Based Learning, Example Non Example, dan Numbered Head Together disatukan. Sebanyak 87% siswa berpartisipasi sehingga menjadi kelompok yang sangat aktif. Motivasi siswa dalam kategori sangat tinggi mencapai 87%. Pada pembelajaran klasikal, capaian pembelajaran tuntas adalah 100%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pembelajaran pada kurikulum IPA Kelas IV SDN Mantuil 4 dapat ditingkatkan dengan mengombinasikan model Problem Based Learning, Example Non Example, dan Numbered Head Together. Hal ini juga akan membuat siswa lebih tertarik dalam belajar, membuat guru lebih terlibat, dan membantu siswa belajar lebih banyak. Model Problem-Based Learning, Example Non-Example, dan Numbered Head Together semuanya harus digunakan bersama oleh guru untuk membuat siswa terlibat dan lebih berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan belajar. Hal ini akan membuat siswa lebih tertarik dalam belajar dan membantu mereka belajar lebih banyak.

Abstract

The case of ethical violations by teachers in the return of student savings funds in Pangandaran has caused financial losses and decreased public trust in the teaching profession. This study employs a qualitative case study method to analyze the impact of these violations on the quality of education and the image of teachers, while also identifying appropriate solutions. The findings highlight the need for increased supervision, transparency in fund management, professional ethics training, and strict enforcement of sanctions to restore teacher integrity and maintain the culture of saving as part of character education. This study contributes significantly to strengthening educational policies and teacher professional ethics in Indonesia.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is an innovation in Indonesia’s education System that provides flexibility for schools and educators to develop learning according to the needs and potentials of students. The implementation of this curriculum faces various challenges, including the readiness of educators and community support. This article discusses the importance of teacher readiness in applying the Merdeka Curriculum, as well as the role of the community in supporting the learning process. Through collaboration between schools, parents, and society, it is hoped that a more inclusive and adaptive learning environment can be created. This research also highlights strategies that can be implemented to enhance the effectiveness of the Merdeka Curriculum implementation.

Abstract

Manajemen kurikulum merupakan komponen mendasar dalam sistem pendidikan yang berperan besar dalam mengarahkan kualitas pembelajaran. Dalam era globalisasi dan transformasi digital yang berkembang pesat, pengelolaan kurikulum yang adaptif dan responsif menjadi kebutuhan mendesak guna menjawab tantangan pendidikan abad ke-21. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas manajemen kurikulum dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi literatur. Penelitian ini mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai teori, konsep, dan temuan empiris dari artikel dan jurnal ilmiah yang relevan untuk mengidentifikasi praktik terbaik dalam pengelolaan kurikulum. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas manajemen kurikulum sangat dipengaruhi oleh keterlibatan aktif pemangku kepentingan pendidikan, seperti kepala sekolah, guru, dan masyarakat, serta oleh kesiapan lembaga pendidikan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi pembelajaran. Selain itu, keberhasilan pengelolaan kurikulum juga ditentukan oleh kemampuan dalam menyesuaikan isi kurikulum dengan kebutuhan lokal dan tuntutan global. Diperlukan pembaruan kurikulum secara berkala, penguatan kapasitas guru, serta kolaborasi lintas sektor agar proses pembelajaran dapat berlangsung secara efektif, inklusif, dan berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, manajemen kurikulum yang efektif bukan hanya menjadi alat administratif, tetapi juga sebagai instrumen strategis dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang bermakna dan relevan.

Abstract

Effective management in curriculum administration requires the role of teachers as professional educators. This role is not only focused on interactions in the classroom, but also includes other important aspects in the world of education. As class leaders, teachers have a great responsibility in designing and managing the teaching process, from compiling learning programs to implementing appropriate evaluation strategies. The quality of education is also greatly influenced by school leadership that is able to design strategies to improve the quality of learning, with the involvement of all elements in the school. In this context, visionary leadership is the key to building a quality learning system, where there is synergy between educators, the community, and schools as the main supporting factors in creating an effective educational environment.

Abstract

Technology integration in the curriculum is one of the important strategies to improve the effectiveness of learning in the digital era. Rapid changes in the field of information technology have encouraged the world of education to adapt so that the teaching and learning process becomes more relevant, efficient, and interesting. The purpose of this study is the need for a curriculum for learning that is more adaptive and responsive to the challenges of the 21st century. A qualitative approach based on a literature review was used in this study. Information was collected from various printed and digital scientific publications. The main goal is to understand the value of integrating technology into the classroom and how to do it effectively. Digital learning applications and interactive media, according to research, can increase student engagement, promote material distribution, and improve teacher-student communication. However, the success of this integration is highly dependent on the readiness of teachers to adopt technology and the availability of adequate technological facilities. The conclusion of this study confirms that the integration of technology in the curriculum has a very positive impact, especially on the effectiveness of learning.

Abstract

The teaching of Indonesian language in elementary schools plays a crucial role in developing students' literacy skills, particularly in narrative writing. However, in practice, many students struggle with generating ideas, constructing storylines, and utilizing proper language structures. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach in enhancing narrative writing skills among fifth-grade elementary students. A quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group approach was employed. The study involved two groups: the experimental group received instruction based on CTL, while the control group was taught using conventional methods. Data analysis indicated a significant improvement in the narrative writing skills of students in the experimental group compared to the control group. The CTL approach was shown to be effective in improving students' learning outcomes by relating lesson content to real-life experiences, while also fostering active participation and creativity. These findings suggest that CTL can be an effective instructional strategy for teaching writing in elementary schools.

Abstract

This article, deep learning-based mathematics learning combined with interactive media is discussed to improve students' critical thinking skills in grade III. A systematic literature review (SLR) approach was applied to twenty scientific articles published between 2020 and 2020. The results showed that implementing deep learning encourages students to actively participate in the process of solving contextual problems, think critically, and understand concepts thoroughly. The use of interactive media such as digital simulations and educational games encourage students to be more engaged in learning and improve their understanding of complex mathematical concepts. However, major issues such as infrastructure shortages and teachers' lack of technological capabilities hinder implementation. This study found that cross-stakeholder collaboration and adaptive education system support are necessary for the success of this approach.

Abstract

This study examines the integration of Malay stilt houses as local wisdom in elementary school mathematics learning, especially in spatial geometry material. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach, namely by examining various relevant literature sources to explore the potential for integrating local cultural values ​​into the context of mathematics learning. Malay house architecture contains geometric shapes such as blocks, pyramids, and prisms that are relevant to help students understand concepts concretely and meaningfully. This ethnomathematics approach also strengthens character, cultural identity, and supports the Pancasila Student Profile in the Merdeka Curriculum. Although its potential is great, its implementation still faces challenges such as limited teaching materials and teacher training. Therefore, it is necessary to develop local culture-based learning modules that are applicable in various regions

Abstract

Mathematics learning at the elementary school level plays an important role in developing students' logical, critical, and systematic thinking skills. Effective learning media should be able to simplify abstract concepts into more concrete forms, expand material presentation, and overcome space, time, and sensory limitations during the learning process. This study aims to identify and analyze the characteristics of mathematics learning media used in elementary schools and evaluate its relevance to students' learning needs. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed through review of relevant literature sources. The results indicate that appropriate media can increase students' active engagement in mathematics learning and facilitate understanding of abstract concepts. It is hoped that these findings can serve as a reference for developing more innovative and student-centered learning media.
