Abstract

AI technology in chatbot applications can be utilized as a medium learning. Media chatbots can reply to messages automatically with use keywords according to the information needed. In addition, the media it can be accessed anywhere, and anytime. Learning to write description texts you can take advantage of this chatbot application to provide convenience to students in searching for information about objects to be described such as objects schools, tourist attractions, or historical sites. This research aims to describe (1) application of chatbot application as a learning medium to write description text and (2) the benefits of chatbot applications as learning media. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach. Instruments in this research is a lesson implementation plan. Results of this study is an exposure to the advantages of chatbot applications as learning media and implementation.

Abstract

The problem in lack of reading literacy in Indonesia has become a crucial challenge. In the era of 5.0, this problem must be solved to realize the better future of Indonesian Golden Age in 2045. Therefore, the purpose of this article was to address the problem in reading literacy by utilizing Augmented Reality (AR) in creating Digital Library (DL), and how GARY as a new concept can be used. The present article used conceptual research design particularly in conceptual models and specifically using conceptual description.  This article signified for academics to support the literature review as references for their empirical researches. The findings showed that GARY became a new concept of AR-based library game application to increase students' interest in reading literacy. Moreover, the present article provided a gateway to the empirical study of DL by integrating AR. Future research could examine on the impact of DL by integrating AR.

Abstract

This descriptive qualitative research aims to provide an overview of the implementation of the Multy Attribute Utility Theory and Borda Count Methods in compiling recommendations for selecting Tahfidzul Qur'an Islamic boarding schools that align with the expectations of prospective students. This research consists of five stages: compiling criteria and their measurement scale, determining the preference weight of each criterion for each decision maker, implementing the MAUT Method, implementing the Borda Count Method, and compiling recommendations. The research results show that both methods can support selecting the best Tahfidz Islamic boarding school, according to what the students expect. From the calculation results, the Tahfidzul Qur'an boarding school with code PPTQ03 is the boarding school that best fits the preference weight of the decision-makers

Abstract

Along with the development of the times, the world of education is much influenced by advances, especially in the field of information and communication technology. Many educators use technology as a learning medium to help students learn and solve problems, especially math problems. There are several applications that students use to help them complete lecturer assignments. Photomath is one of the applications used by students in mathematics lessons. This application can be accessed via a smartphone and has features that help students solve math problems. This study aims to determine the effect of using the Photomath application on the learning outcomes of Tadris Mathematics students in semester 4 of the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Kediri. The number of samples used in this study were 45 students, which were divided into two groups. The experimental group consisted of 24 students and the control group consisted of 21 students. The analysis used in this study is a t-test to compare whether there are differences in student learning outcomes in advanced calculus courses when solving problems using the Photomath application and not using these tools. The results obtained show that there are significant differences between students who use the help of the Photomath application and those who do not. So it can be concluded that the use of the Photomath application has an effect on student learning outcomes at IAIN Kediri's mathematics tadris in advanced calculus courses.

Abstract

PAI learning is still general and has not improved other teaching materials so the learning motivation of students is low. This study aims to 1) develop teaching materials, namely the PAI and Budi Pekerti learning modules using the anyflip web for class III students at SD Negeri 1 Sekaran, and 2 increase students' learning motivation. This research and development use the R&D (Research and Development) method with the ADDIE research model. The results of research and development of PAI and Budi Pekerti learning modules use the anyflip web. The module gets a student response test of 97.9% from the small group test and 98.1%, which means that students are interested in interesting pictures and like to listen to audio. The percentage before using the module was 69.6% and the percentage after using the module by distributing questionnaires to find out an increase in students' learning motivation by 82.9% which showed students were more diligent in facing assignments and tenacious in facing difficulties. The result shows significant results in increasing learning motivation because, in the anyflip web, there are audio and also interesting images that are adapted to the age of students in grade 3 elementary school, where the age of grade 3 elementary school children is included in the operational thinking category, which means being able to think logically with the help of concrete objects. So to create students who can think logically, concrete objects are needed, one of which is the anyflip web in the learning process.

Abstract

In the field of ELT, the issue in lack of vocabulary has emerged as a major obstacle. Thus, the purpose of this article was to discuss Language Reactor Toolbox (LRT) as a new concept for vocabulary teaching in EFL classrooms and how LRT can be utilized to address the problem in vocabulary teaching. The conceptual research design employed in this work was focused on conceptual models and specifically utilized conceptual description.  This article signified for academics to support the literature review as references for their empirical researches. The findings showed that LRT became a new concept of vocabulary teaching to increase students' interest in vocabulary learning. Moreover, the present article provided a gateway to the empirical study of LRT on chrome extension for vocabulary teaching. Future research could examine on the impact LRT in vocabulary teaching of EFL classroom.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of managing School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds in improving the quality of education starting from planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, as well as the impact of BOS funds in improving the quality of education at SMK Negeri 2 Kediri City. The approach in this research uses qualitative. Meanwhile, the type of research used in this research is descriptive case study research. The techniques used to collect data are interview, observation and documentation methods. As a result of the research conducted, the author can conclude that the effectiveness of managing BOS funds in improving the quality of education at SMK Negeri 2 Kediri City can be said to be effective. This can be seen from the first point, planning for managing BOS funds at SMK Negeri 2 Kediri City begins with preparing RKAS based on needs and according to the financing components of BOS funds, especially to improve the quality of education. Second, the implementation of BOS fund management at SMK Negeri 2 Kediri City is adjusted to the RKAS which has been determined specifically to improve the quality of education. Third, supervision and evaluation of the management of BOS funds at SMK Negeri 2 Koa Kediri is carried out by the school principal and directly from the Kediri Education Service Branch. Evaluations are carried out at the end of every year to correct errors in the management of BOS funds. Fourth, the impact felt by SMK Negeri 2 Kota Kediri with the existence of BOS funds is that it can help with school operational costs, help finance teacher competency development and ease the burden on parents of students in education costs.

Abstract

The development of the industrial revolution has led us to the society 5.0 era, where the integration of digital technology into people’s lives was inevitable. Therefore, this study explores the opportunities of leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to develop presenting skills in Arabic language learning while examining how teachers can mitigate the challenges and negative implications. We employ the interpretivism research paradigm with a qualitative approach and library research method. Data was collected through documentation techniques and analysed using Miles & Huberman’s interactive analysis model during and after data collection, following the characteristic of the qualitative research data analysis approach. The study’s outcomes offer two valuable things: firstly, a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities of leveraging AI in Arabic language learning, and secondly, practical strategies for successfully integrating AI into the learning process. Consequently, the results are expected to significantly improve students’ engagement and learning outcomes in Arabic language learning, particularly in developing presenting skills.

Abstract

The root of problem of this research begins with nature of humans who are positioned as caliphs on earth, and are mandated to maintain sustainability and not act antropocentrically towards nature and its ecosystem. Then researchers discovered the fact that from students in Islamic boarding schools movement could be created to protect and preserve natural ecosystems, as well as behaving in a friendly manner towards the environment according to the teachings of the Islamic religion. Through this research the author will examine this issue by deconstructing Abdul Matin's "Green Deen" concept. This research is a literature study, which examines 6 Green Deen concepts that will be implemented in the lives of students in Islamic boarding schools in Kediri City. The results of this research include analyzing Abdul Matin's Green Deen theory into 6 concepts that can be implemented into daily lives of students in Islamic boarding schools in Kediri City.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low performance of academic services in an educational institution. The research uses qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The data sources are principals, teachers. Staff and learners. Research shows that the Academic Administration Service of SMK Karya Guna 1 Bekasi Teachers of SMK Karya Guna 1 Bekasi have the competence to create a pleasant learning atmosphere so that the material taught can be understood by students well.  All satisfaction with students has been achieved, by providing quality services characterized by the comfort of students in receiving academic services provided by SMK Karya Guna 1 Bekasi and school fees that are implemented into values (benefits) that are in accordance with student expectations. The strategy to improve the quality of academic services at SMK Karya Guna 1 Bekasi by increasing the satisfaction of students in the quality of service is evidenced by the adjustments in the field including the suitability of the curriculum between expectations and reality, the suitability of learning infrastructure between expectations and reality, the suitability of learning implementation between expectations and reality, the suitability of academic assistance between expectations and reality.
