Abstract

Herbal drinks are an Indonesian cultural heritage made from various spices and have health benefits such as refreshing the body, accelerating metabolism, and increasing appetite. UMKM "Jamu Sehat Sentosa" is one of the home industries that supplies herbal medicine around Balonggebang. However, most herbal medicines are still sold using bottles only without adding labels which of course are less attractive to consumers. This service aims to provide assistance related to good and attractive marketing and labeling, so that it can guarantee the quality of herbal medicine product packaging so that it can increase economic competitiveness. Service is carried out using two methods, namely lectures and training. The lecture method is carried out at the beginning to provide an understanding of how to market suitable products. Furthermore, the training method is carried out for the production process, packaging selection, packaging process, and labeling design. Assistance has been carried out, In the production process, attractive herbal medicine product packaging is labeled. for the sale of herbal medicine, it is packaged in 500ml bottles and labels are added to each bottle. Consumer appeal testing is carried out by comparing the results of herbal medicine sales using old and new packaging. Based on the test results, it shows that the new packaging is more in demand by consumers than the old packaging. Based on the survey, it is known that consumers prefer products with new packaging and labels because they are more attractive, safe and informative.

Abstract

Sidoharjo Village faces significant challenges in education, including low parental participation in children’s educational activities. The Integrated Competence Community Service Program (KPM-IK) aims to raise educational awareness through training and education-based activities. Using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, this program involves the community in identifying and utilizing local assets to enhance the quality of education. Students collaborate with village residents to plan and implement educational activities, such as training local teachers, conducting awareness campaigns for parents, and establishing learning groups. The results of this community service show a significant increase in community participation in children’s education and the formation of self-sustaining learning groups at the village level. This program successfully created positive change in the community’s awareness of the importance of education.

Abstract

This community-based service program aims to empower the community through education integrated with local needs. In Desa Sidoharjo, the program engages residents in every stage of organizing and implementing educational activities. The community-based approach is applied to address educational challenges in the village. Using Participatory Action Research (PAR), students and community members collaborate in research and action to improve the quality of education. The program includes training for local teachers, the development of a curriculum based on local needs, and the establishment of community-based learning groups. The results show an increase in community participation in educational activities and a deeper understanding of the importance of education. This service program highlights the effectiveness of community-based education in fostering long-term, sustainable development in rural areas.

Abstract

The assistance provided to MSMEs in Sambiroto Village aims to enhance the competitiveness and capacity of MSME actors through the utilization of social media as a tool for digital marketing. The focus of this community service is to address the limitations of conventional marketing, which is confined to the local market, by leveraging digital platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. The methods employed include training on creating social media accounts, content management, and strategies for interacting with consumers to expand market reach. The results of the service show that after the assistance, MSMEs were able to improve the visibility of their products, broaden their market reach, and experience an increase in sales. This program also helped MSME actors better understand the importance of digital marketing and integrate it into their business strategies, significantly strengthening their competitiveness in the digital era.

Abstract

This community service program addresses the challenge of limited access to hand sanitizers in local communities during the COVID-19 pandemic by applying the ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) approach. The program leverages local resources, specifically betel leaves and lime, to produce affordable and sustainable natural hand sanitizers. The method involves the collection of these natural ingredients, followed by the formulation and production of hand sanitizers, which are then distributed to the community. The program also includes educational initiatives, such as workshops and demonstrations, to teach the community how to create and use hand sanitizers effectively. The results show a significant increase in the community's awareness of hand hygiene and the adoption of healthier behaviors. This initiative empowered local residents to become more self-reliant in maintaining hygiene, thereby contributing to the collective effort in preventing the spread of COVID-19.

Abstract

The Integrated Competency-Based Community Service Program (KPM-IK) in Sidoharjo Village focuses on improving educational skills among local educators and community members. The main objective of this program is to enhance the quality of education by providing relevant training in teaching skills and curriculum development, tailored to local needs. Abstract

This community service program was designed to enhance the teaching competence of elementary school teachers in Bangkalan Regency by introducing them to the use of Science City learning media. The training aimed to address the lack of innovation and creativity in classroom practices, equipping teachers with the skills to incorporate interactive media into their lessons. The results demonstrated that the training successfully improved the teachers' ability to use educational media, increased their creativity in lesson delivery, and boosted student motivation and engagement. The program also encouraged teachers to explore new teaching strategies, ensuring a more student-centered learning environment. Moving forward, the program's continuation is expected to foster further innovation in teaching, ultimately leading to improved student learning outcomes. This initiative highlights the importance of integrating media into the teaching process as a means of enhancing both teaching practices and educational quality.

Abstract

This community service program in Desa Sambiroto addresses the issue of raising awareness about COVID-19 prevention protocols. The initiative aimed to improve the community's understanding and compliance with health protocols, such as wearing masks, using hand sanitizers, and setting up handwashing stations. The ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) approach was employed, leveraging local assets and community participation to create sustainable solutions. The strategy involved direct outreach to households, coordination with local leaders, and the use of educational media, including posters and videos. The results indicated a significant increase in adherence to health protocols, with enhanced usage of masks and improved hand hygiene practices. This program demonstrates the critical role of education and community engagement in mitigating the spread of COVID-19.

Abstract

This community service program focuses on improving religious education quality at Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur'an (TPQ) in Bangsri Village. The main issue addressed is the limited resources and outdated teaching methods in local TPQs. The objective is to enhance the quality of Quranic education by empowering the community, particularly TPQ teachers, through training and the application of effective teaching methods. The program employs the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, utilizing local resources and community participation to optimize learning processes. The community service includes identifying local assets, providing teacher training on Tajwid (proper Quranic pronunciation), and involving community members in supporting educational activities. As a result, there was a significant improvement in students' Quranic reading skills and teaching effectiveness. The initiative also fostered greater community involvement in supporting religious education, contributing to the overall development of the village's educational system.

Abstract

The Kuliah Pengabdian Masyarakat Terintegrasi Kompetensi (KPM-IK) program in Desa Sidoharjo focuses on developing healthy and sustainable education. The primary aim of this initiative is to enhance the quality of education by integrating health aspects into the teaching and learning process. The program utilizes the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, which involves the community in identifying local resources to promote healthy lifestyles and integrate health education into the local curriculum. The program's activities include health education outreach, physical activities, and promoting healthy living habits. The results demonstrate a significant improvement in the community’s understanding of the importance of health in education, as well as increased participation in physical activities and healthier lifestyles. This initiative successfully highlighted the interconnection between education and health, leading to a more holistic approach to community development
