Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the optimal solution for variables that support teacher performance based on an analysis of indicators for each research variable. The method used is quantitative, employing the SITOREM (Scientific Identification Theory to Conduct Operation Research in Education Management) analysis technique. Based on the analysis results, it can be concluded that there are 9 indicators with scores above 4.00 and 16 indicators below 4.00. Therefore, it can be concluded from this study that there are 16 indicators that need to be improved, namely 1) Time Management, 2) Technology Utilisation, 3) Work Quality Achievement, 4) Knowledge Improvement, 5) Knowledge Evaluation, 6) Knowledge Distribution, 7) Ability to Understand Others, 8) Providing views, ideas, and concepts for organisational progress, 9) Collaboration, 10) Togetherness, 11) Mutual Trust, 12) Concern, 13) Working Conditions, 14) Salary/Income, 15) Promotion Opportunities, 16) Supervision. The implication of this study is that schools, in this case school leaders, can make decisions to improve weak indicators according to the SITOREM results in order to improve educational management in schools.

Abstract

The limitations of science assessment instruments that are able to measure critical thinking skills comprehensively, particularly in integrating cognitive dimensions and operational indicators into one complete construct, is still a problem in learning evaluation practices. This study aimed to develop a critical thinking test instrument based on the synthesis of the Watson–Glaser and Ennis frameworks in the context of science education. The research employed a Research and Development approach using the ADDIE model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The instrument was developed by synthesizing Watson–Glaser critical thinking components and Ennis’ operational indicators, which were then translated into multiple-choice reasoning-based items on wave and optics topics. Expert validation was conducted to evaluate content, construct, and language aspects. The instrument was tested on 38 undergraduate students of science education in Universitas Negeri Medan. The results indicated that the instrument was valid based on expert judgment and demonstrated adequate construct validity. Reliability analysis using Cronbach’s Alpha yielded a coefficient of 0.876, indicating high internal consistency. These findings suggest that the developed instrument reliably measures critical thinking skills in accordance with the synthesized Watson–Glaser and Ennis framework. The instrument can serve as an alternative assessment tool for science learning that emphasizes critical reasoning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the use of TikTok as a source of information on students' digital literacy at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. This research is based on the high intensity of TikTok use among students. This type of research is quantitative with a simple linear regression approach. The research sample amounted to 67 students who were selected using the Slovin formula. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and questionnaires, then analyzed using validity, reliability, normality, homogeneity, and simple linear regression tests. The results of the study show that the use of TikTok has a positive and significant effect on students' digital literacy. Regression analysis showed an R value of 0.449 with an R Square of 0.201, which means that 20.1% of digital literacy variations can be explained by TikTok use, while 79.9%. The conclusion of this study is that the use of TikTok can contribute to improving students' digital literacy. Therefore, it is recommended that schools and teachers can direct their students to utilize social media, especially TikTok, not only as a means of entertainment, but also as a learning medium and the improvement of critical, wise, and productive digital literacy skills

Abstract

School management in Indonesia still tends to focus on administrative and academic aspects, while the utilization of students' socio-cultural data has not been systematically integrated into school management. This study aims to explore school management practices based on socio-cultural data in building students' cultural identity, strengthening social cohesion, and developing students' emotional regulation. The study used a qualitative approach through interviews. Data analysis was conducted thematically following Creswell's stages with the assistance of NVivo 12 software. The results show that socio-cultural data is used as a basis for planning contextual and responsive school policies, learning, and services. This practice contributes to the formation of inclusive students' cultural identity, strengthening social cohesion, and developing emotional regulation through a supportive school climate. The implementation of this approach is supported by the commitment of leaders and collaboration of educators, but still faces limitations in competency and an integrated data collection system.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how Pancasila values play a role in reviving the spirit of mutual cooperation among the people of Kp. Stangkle Kelurahan Kemirimuka, Kecamatan Beji Depok. The background of this study departs from the phenomenon of a diminishing sense of togetherness in society influenced by the development ofmodernization and the increasing tendency towards individualistic lifestyles. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection methods through interviews, observations, and documentation of village officials and the local community. This research was conducted on 10,  october 10, 2025, with a frequency of 6 meetings, each lasting 3-4 hours in 12 effective days of research.The results of the study indicate that Pancasila values are still implemented in real life, especially in mutual cooperation activities such as community service, construction of public facilities, and socio religious activities. The value of divinity is reflected through an attitude of tolerance between religious communities, the value of humanity through social concern, the value of unity through community cohesion, the value of democracy through deliberation in decision-making, and the value of justice through an equitable distribution of tasks. The conclusion of this study shows that the application of Pancasila values has an important role in strengthening social solidarity and maintaining harmony among residents of Kp. Stangkle Kelurahan Kemirimuka, Kecamatan Beji Depok.

Abstract

Bullying in educational settings is a serious issue that negatively affects students’ psychological, social, and academic development. Although various interventions have been implemented, reactive and administrative approaches have proven insufficient to prevent bullying sustainably. This study aims to systematically analyze the role of philosophy-based character education in preventing bullying in educational environments, as well as to identify prevailing value theories, implementation challenges, and future research prospects. This research employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method following the PRISMA framework. Literature searches were conducted in the Scopus database in December 2025 using keywords related to character education, bullying, and philosophy of education. From 2,559 identified articles, 13 studies met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed qualitatively. In addition, bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer was applied to map conceptual relationships and research trends. The findings indicate that moral philosophy and virtue ethics constitute the dominant foundations for character education programs, supported by the concepts of moral agency, moral identity, and Social Emotional Learning (SEL). Philosophy-based character education plays a significant preventive role in reducing bullying by strengthening moral values, empathy, and the development of ethical and inclusive school climates.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has made a significant contribution to innovations in digital learning. This study aims to analyze how AI is utilized to support the development of multimodal learning resources, interactive animations, and adaptive learning experiences for students. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) based on the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Data were collected from the Scopus database using a Boolean query that combined the keywords “AI” and “educational animation” for the years 2020–2025. Out of 166 articles found, only 11 met the inclusion criteria and were thematically analyzed. The results show that AI plays a crucial role in enriching digital learning strategies. Generative AI supports the creation of multimodal learning resources, deep learning promotes the development of interactive educational animations, and adaptive AI systems enable learning experiences responsive to individual student abilities. In conclusion, the application of AI enhances the effectiveness, interactivity, and personalization of digital learning, contributing to the formation of an innovative and learner-centered educational ecosystem.
