Abstract

Project-Based Learning (PBL) merupakan salah satu metode pembelajaran yang menekankan pada pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang nyata dan kompleks, pendekatan pembelajaran yang berfokus pada pengalaman praktis siswa melalui penyelesaian proyek yang relevan dengan dunia nyata yang mendorong siswa untuk aktif berpartisipasi dalam proses belajar. Project-Based Learning (PBL) memungkinkan siswa untuk mengembangkan keterampilan abad 21 seperti kreativitas, kolaborasi, komunikasi, dan pemecahan masalah Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas Project-Based Learning (PBL) dalam meningkatkan kompetensi siswa di berbagai bidang pada SMA YADINU MASBAGIK, serta memberikan wawasan baru mengenai penerapan Project-Based Learning (PBL) dalam konteks pendidikan abad 21. Data yang dikumpulkan berasal dari berbagai penelitian yang ada, serta studi kasus yang menunjukkan dampak positif Project-Based Learning (PBL) terhadap keterampilan siswa di SMA YADINU MASBAGIK abad 21, termasuk kreativitas, kolaborasi, dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Artikel ini mengkaji efektivitas Project-Based Learning (PBL)  dalam meningkatkan kompetensi siswa di berbagai bidang, termasuk keterampilan akademik dan non-akademik, serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam penerapannya. Dengan menganalisis studi kasus, penelitian ini menyoroti kebaruan dalam penggunaan teknologi digital, penerapan di negara berkembang, dan pengembangan keterampilan siswa abad 21 melalui Project-Based Learning (PBL). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun Project-Based Learning (PBL) memberikan dampak positif dalam pengembangan keterampilan siswa, terdapat tantangan terkait sumber daya dan kesiapan guru yang perlu diperhatikan untuk implementasi yang lebih optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using audiovisual media in enhancing students' learning motivation at MTs NW Kabar. The research employs an experimental design with pre-test and post-test, where the experimental group was treated with audiovisual media in the learning process, while the control group used conventional teaching methods. Data on students' learning motivation were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test statistical tests. The results indicate a significant increase in the learning motivation of the experimental group, with the post-test average score reaching 78.3, higher than the control group, which only achieved 60.1. Statistical tests show a significant difference between the experimental and control groups with a p-value < 0.05, indicating that audiovisual media has a positive impact on students' learning motivation. This study concludes that audiovisual media can be an effective tool for enhancing students' motivation, which in turn creates a more dynamic and engaging learning environment. The limitations of this study include the small sample size and the focus solely on learning motivation, suggesting the need for further research involving other variables such as material understanding and academic achievement

Abstract

Masalah gizi pada anak, termasuk stunting, gizi kurang, dan obesitas, menjadi tantangan besar yang memengaruhi kualitas hidup generasi mendatang. Pendidikan dan teknologi menawarkan peluang strategis untuk mengatasi masalah ini secara efektif dan berkelanjutan. Melalui pendidikan, masyarakat dapat dibekali dengan pengetahuan tentang kebutuhan gizi yang tepat, pola makan sehat, dan praktik pemberian makan yang sesuai, khususnya pada 1.000 hari pertama kehidupan. Teknologi mendukung upaya ini dengan menyediakan akses ke informasi gizi melalui alat pemantauan kesehatan, serta platform digital yang menjangkau lebih banyak kalangan. Kombinasi pendidikan dan teknologi memungkinkan penerapan program gizi berbasis data yang dapat diakses di berbagai wilayah, termasuk daerah terpencil. Dengan kolaborasi lintas sektor, seperti pemerintah, institusi pendidikan, dan pengembang teknologi, intervensi gizi dapat dirancang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat secara lebih spesifik. Pendekatan ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kesadaran gizi, mengurangi prevalensi masalah gizi anak, dan menciptakan generasi yang sehat, produktif, dan berdaya saing.

Abstract

Penyuluhan mengenai pentingnya mencuci tangan merupakan bagian dari upaya preventif dalam menjaga kesehatan, khususnya Untuk anak-anak di tingkat sekolah dasar yang mudah terserang berbagai penyakit. menular. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 18 Maret 2024 di MI Miftahul Huda Ketawang dan diikuti oleh 120 siswa. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran siswa tentang manfaat mencuci tangan dengan benar dan rutin. Menggunakan Metode ceramah interaktif, demonstrasi praktik mencuci tangan sesuai standar WHO, serta permainan edukatif yang dirancang untuk menarik minat dan meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap waktu, cara, dan pentingnya mencuci tangan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Melalui kegiatan ini diharapkan siswa dapat menerapkan kebiasaan hidup bersih dan sehat secara konsisten di lingkungan sekolah maupun rumah

Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance the competence of teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Masbagik in developing integrative thematic learning tools based on Sasak cultural values. The background of the activity stems from the limited use of local wisdom in classroom instruction, which leads to a disconnect between the teaching materials and the students’ cultural context. The program was conducted using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach over three days, involving stages of needs assessment, training, mentoring, classroom trials, and reflection. A total of 25 teachers participated and showed significant improvement in their pedagogical understanding and skills, as reflected in the increase of their average scores from 61.4 (pretest) to 83.6 (posttest). Participants successfully produced lesson plans, teaching modules, and student worksheets incorporating Sasak cultural values such as the spirit of cooperation (begibung), environmental preservation (ngayu-ayu), and politeness in daily language use. A limited classroom implementation showed that students responded positively and were more engaged in lessons linked to their local culture. This program demonstrates that integrating local cultural content into instructional design can improve the quality and contextual relevance of learning while strengthening students’ cultural identity. It is recommended that similar training be conducted on a regular basis, accompanied by the systematic development of local-based teaching materials.

Abstract

Stunting remains a major public health challenge in Indonesia, particularly in rural areas. This community service program aims to enhance health literacy and digital skills among residents of Suralaga Village by optimizing the “Stunt Guard” web application as an educational and monitoring tool for stunting prevention. Activities included socialization, training, and intensive mentoring for posyandu cadres and mothers of young children. Evaluation using pre-test and post-test revealed a significant increase in participants’ knowledge and preventive behaviors after the intervention. These results indicate that utilizing web-based applications is effective in strengthening community involvement in monitoring child growth and supporting participatory, sustainable stunting prevention efforts. This program is expected to serve as a replicable digital empowerment model to accelerate the reduction of stunting rates in Indonesia.

Abstract

Socialization is a means of teaching and learning. The purpose of socialization is to provide understanding to individuals and community groups. Saving is essential in financial management. Saving is the act of setting aside money for a specific period of time for future use. Financial knowledge is not only intended for adults or parents; early childhood needs to be taught understanding and good habits that will be beneficial in the future. SDN 0310 Simaninggir, Sosopan District, Padang Lawas Regency, was the target of this activity for fourth-grade students. The main strategy in this activity was to provide students with knowledge about saving. In this learning activity, we used a medium to support the children's knowledge, namely by providing them with piggy banks.

Abstract

Bullying is repeated aggressive behavior intended to hurt, humiliate, or dominate others emotionally, physically, or mentally. The goal of this activity is to raise students' awareness of the negative effects of bullying and encourage them to play an active role in preventing it and creating a bullying-free school environment. This activity involves presenting material about bullying to students in the classroom, followed by a question-and-answer session with the presenter. This presentation and Q&A session are expected to increase students' understanding, preventing them from becoming perpetrators or victims of bullying. This will have a positive impact and help create a bullying-free environment in schools and homes

Abstract

This comunity service activity was carried out at SD Negeri 0310 Simaninggir to improve children’s fine motor skills by making collages from paper cuttings. This activity is motivated by the children’s still laking fine motor skills including their inability to hold writing tools correctly and their fine motor skill still being hindered when playing. The subjects of this research are class V children of SD Negeri 0310 Simaninggir Sosopan District. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation during the activity and assessment of children’s development was measured using teacher observation sheets with the technique of assessing the results of their work. Thus, it can be concluded that making collages with paper cuttings can improve the fine motor skills of children at SD Negeri 0310 Simaninggir Sosopan District.
