Abstract

Abstract: This study explores the problems that are still difficult for students in learning Arabic, namely the motivation to memorize and master mufradat. Most students are initially excited to learn, but then become bored and lazy. The research method used in this study is a literature study with a qualitative approach. By using this method, the researcher uses a discussion about anagram games in the form of journals and papers to add data in the form of previous research on vocabulary learning. through observation with Arabic teachers, anagram media is suitable to be applied in learning Arabic, anagrams can increase students' interest in language and indirectly increase CBSA levels in the teaching and learning process. This is because the activities carried out by students in this language game are not only physical activities but also mental activities. Anagrams are puns, phrases, or sentences that create new meaning when words, phrases, or sentences are rearranged. In general, words that can be anagrammed should be at least 4 letters long because they are easy to confuse with new words, but there are many words with less than 4 letters.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the Circle Time learning method in learning Arabic. The research method used is qualitative with the type of case study. Research data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed by condensation, data display, and verification. The results showed that 1) The implementation of the Circle Time learning method in Arabic learning was carried out in several stages, namely planning, implementation (provocation, discussion, role play, and reflection), and evaluation. 2) The Circle Time learning method can foster students' confidence in speaking using Arabic. 3) The supporting factors for implementing the Circle Time learning method are the flexibility of learning and the teacher's open-mindedness, while the inhibiting factors are time constraints and students who are difficult to condition. It is hoped that this research can be a new reference for Arabic language teachers in choosing learning methods.

Abstract

This research aims to photograph the phenomenon of implementing eclectic methods based on the 2013 Curriculum in Arabic language learning at Madrasah Tsanawiyah DDI Padanglampe- Pangkep, regency with 3 discussion focuses; preparation, implementation and evaluation processes. Methodologically, this research is descriptive-qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data was obtained by field studies which were strengthened by research instruments; documentation, observation and structured interviews with informant sources selected randomly and simply from madrasah; madrasah head, Arabic teacher and students. The research findings data were analyzed descriptively and presented using Miles and Hubermen's Theory. The results of the research show that learning Arabic at MTs DDI Padanglampe using an eclectic method based on the 2013 Curriculum is going WELL. Learning activities include preparation, process and evaluation based on the parameters of the 2013 Curriculum. Learning Arabic in Madrasas includes memorizing vocabulary (mufradat), learning qiraah and kitabah, and language structure (tarkib) even though it is still in simple and simple descriptions. Although it is acknowledged that various obstacles are still found in the learning process, both internal and external factors.

Abstract

Poetry is a concrete form of literary output to express human thoughts and feelings and is used as a medium for preaching in the process of spreading Islam. This study aims to determine the meaning contained in the poem "Man 'Arafa" by Hamzah Fansuri and to understand the interpretation of the da'wah value in the poem through a semiotic approach. This research uses a type of qualitative research through the method of library research (library research). Sources of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. The primary data is Man Arafa's poetry, while the secondary data is in the form of books, articles, research reports, and so on related to research. Data collection uses the documentation method, namely by reading and studying Hamzah Fansuri's poetry, and writings related to research. The data analysis technique used the descriptive method by describing the results of the identification through a semiotic approach. The results of the study show that the da'wah message contained in Man Arafa's poem is an invitation to draw closer to God which can be done in several ways, namely, recognizing oneself, recognizing God's substance and His attributes, increasing dhikr to remember God's power and greatness. by saying praises, increasing worship, good deeds, distancing oneself from actions that are not permitted by Allah, and always remembering death. Thus, humans always take care of the earth, guard their lives to remind themselves, stay in God's way, and avoid worldly things, by studying religious knowledge in earnest.

Abstract

In learning to read Arabic texts, appropriate and fun learning methods are needed in order to realize interesting and effective learning. One method that can be used in learning to read Arabic text is Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC). This method can help students to improve their Arabic text reading skills. This study aims to describe the application of the CIRC method and its effectiveness in learning to read Arabic text. This research is an experimental study with a one-Group pretest-posttest design model where the researcher performs a pretest before the treatment is carried out and a posttest after the treatment is carried out. The sample of this study was the students of SMP Plus Al-Firdaus Malang class VII with a total of 28 students. The results of the study showed a significant increase after treatment was carried out in the form of the application of the CIRC method. This is evidenced by the average value of the pretest 63.1 increasing with the posttest average value of 86.1.

Abstract

Upaya peningkatan mutu pembelajaran bahasa Arab tidak lepas dari peranan strategi para guru ketika proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Salah satu masalah yang sering ditemui dalam proses pengajaran bahasa Asing, khususnya bahasa Arab adalah pengayaan metode dan strategi pengajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa pembelajaran bahasa Arab di pondok pesantren, seperti pesantren wihdah, shalafiah dan Modern, mayoritas terfokus pada penguasaan ilmu nahwu dengan tujuan untuk memahami kitab kuning. Adapun kompetensi dalam penguasaan bahasa arab yang meliputi penguasaan linguistic dan keterampilan, dengan penguasaan yang terdiri dari penguasaan mendengar (istima), berbicara (kalam), membaca (qiroa’ah), dan menulis (kitabah).

Abstract

This article aims to describe the pattern of argumentation in the speakers' rhetoric at the Arabic debate championship in the Ihtifal Institusi Pengajian Tinggi (IPT) at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia 2018. The speakers' rhetoric is studied based on the so-called Toulmin's Argumentation Pattern (TAP) which consists of six elements of argument, namely C (claim), statement, G (ground) reason or evidence, W (warrant) guarantee, B (backing) support, M (modal qualifier) ​​certainty of statement, and R (rebuttal) disclaimer. In addition, the research method used is a qualitative description with content analysis techniques. The data collection technique in this study is a documentation technique in the form of recorded data on Arabic debates on YouTube with a total of 3 videos and each video has a duration of 8 minutes. The research findings reveal that there are 14 patterns of argumentation in the rhetoric of the three contra team speakers. The rhetoric of the first contra speaker includes various ideas forming the first pattern C (Claim) and G (Ground) 2 times, and the fourth pattern C (Claim), G (Ground), W (Warrant), M (Modal qualifier) ​​and R (Rebuttal) mentioned once. Moreover, the rhetoric of the second contra speaker includes various ideas forming the first pattern C (Claim) and G (Ground) mentioned once, the second pattern C (Claim), G (Ground), and R (Rebuttal) mentioned once, and C (Claim), M (Modal qualifier) ​​and R (Rebuttal) mentioned once, and the third pattern is C (Claim), G (Ground), M (Modal qualifier) ​​and R (Rebuttal) mentioned once, and pattern C (Claim), G (Ground), W (Warrant), M (Modal qualifier). Furthermore, the rhetoric of the third contra speaker includes various ideas forming the first pattern C (Claim) and R (Rebuttal) 3 times, the second pattern C (Claim), G (Ground) and R (Rebuttal) twice, and the third pattern C (Claim), G (Ground), M (Modal qualifier) ​​and R (Rebuttal) mentioned once.

Abstract

Isu pengembangan program studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab telah mendapatkan perhatian oleh para ketua/ koordinator program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab se-Indonesia. Beberapa agenda pun dicanangkan dalam rangka menyatukan langkah menuju perbaikan program secaran nasional. Salah satunya adalah kegiatan Rakernas dan Semiloka PPPBA Indonesia yang berlangsung di Malang pada tanggal 24-26 Agustus 2022. pada kegiatan tersebut dibahas tentang Best practice kurikulum PBA berbasis MBKM, Bedah instrumen akreditasi prodi dan Akreditasi internasional (Aqas). Di sisi lain, para ketua prodi PBA se-Indonesia saling bertukar program pengembangan yang dibuktikan dengan penandatangan MoU masing-masing Pengelola program studi. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa program studi PBA dari perguruan tinggi Islam se-Indonesia, terus bergerak dan bersinergi dalam rangka mengembangkan program sesuai dengan tuntutan zaman. Program studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab IAIN Ternate sebelumnya juga terus berbenah dengan berusaha menciptakan bi’ah lughawiyah melalui kegiatan daurah arabiyah, rihlah ilmiah dan program stimulasi metode pembelajaran Bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan library research sebagai bentuk kajiannya. pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif Seluruh data dan informasi yag diperoleh baik dari penelusuran literature terkait maupun hasil wawancara dan observasi, diolah dengan menggunakana analisi deskristif kualitatif melalui kerangka acuan deduktif. Kerangka acuan deduktif yang dimaksud adalah dengan menjabarkan informasi sekompleks mungkin kemudian diambil sebuah kesimpulan akhir yang mencakup keseluruhan data dan informasi terkait analisa pengembangan program studi pendidikan bahasa Arab di IAIN Ternate. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bukti adanya upaya yang dilakukan oleh pengelola dalam mengembangkan program studi pendidikan bahasa Arab di IAIN Ternate. Program tersebut jika secara kontinu dilakukan, maka tentu akan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif dan menyenangkan bagi para mahasiswa PBA IAIN Ternate. Dengan terciptanya lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, maka bukan tidak mungkin PBA IAIN Ternate sebagai satu-satunya penyelanggara Pendidikan Bahasa Arab di Provinsi Maluku Utara, akan menjadi salah program studi yang diminati di masa yang akan datang

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan adalah untuk Menghasilkan dan menjelaskan proses pengembangan kamus musaid dalam pembelajaran maharah qiraah di SMP Daarul Ukhuwwah Malang, Untuk Mengetahui kelayakan kamus musaid dalam pembelajaran maharah qiraah di SMP Daarul Ukhuwwah Malang, Untuk Mengetahui keefektifan kamus musaid dalam pembelajaran maharah qiraah di SMP Daarul Ukhuwwah Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Proses pengembangan kamus musaid menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang mengadopsi dalam Robert Maribe Branch. Model pengembangan ADDIE mempunyai 5 tahapan: a) Tahap Analisis, b) Tahap Desain, c) Tahap Pengembangan, d) Tahap Implementasi, e) Tahap Evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari hasil wawancara, observasi, masukan para validator,dan dokumentasi, sedangkan data kuantitatif diperoleh dari hasil kuesioner validator, hasil belajar siswa pre-test dan post-test sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan produk kamus musaid yang dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dengan bantuan program komputer SPSS 21. Hasil pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Menghasilkan kamus musaid melalui tahapan pengembangan ADDIE. (2) Proses uji kelayakan kamus musaid melalui validator ahli desain, ahli bahasa dan isi, ahli pembelajaran yang hasilnya sangat layak dan layak untuk diujicobakan. Hal ini berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli desain mendapatkan kriteria sangat layak dengan nilai 98,75%. Hasil validasi ahli bahasa dan isi memdapatkan triteria layak dengan nilai 80%. Hasil validasi ahli pembelajaran mendapatkan kriteria sangat layak dengan nilai 88,57%. Hasil angket tanggapan kemenarikan kamus musaid untuk siswa mendapatkan kriteria sangat layak dengan nilai 81,15%. (3) Tingkat keefektifan pada kamus musaid yang hasilnya terbukti efektif. Hal ini diperkuat dari hasil pre-test dan post-test sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan kamus musaid, hasil pre-test dan post-test kelas eksperimen mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 56,69 dan 86,31, dan hasil pre-test dan post-test kelas kontrol mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 51,35 dan 61,81. Dari hasil tersebut kemudian diuji dengan menggunakan independent sample test, adapun hasilnya adalah hasil uji hipotesis post-test kelas eksperimen dan kontrol yaitu Sig. 0,000 < 0,05. Dari perolehan hasil tersebut ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan kamus musaid. Kesimpulannya terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan kamus musaid dalam pembelajaran maharah qiraah di SMP Daarul Ukhuwwah Malang.

Abstract

The strategy of learning by playing is considered an integral part of the process of mental growth and intelligence, due to the importance of games. Many educational institutions have attached great importance to games in their curricula, and they are an educational means for developing speaking skill. This research aims to find out the effect of using the learning-by-play strategy to improve students' effectiveness in speaking skill. This research is a descriptive experimental research. The results of the research were obtained and analyzed using the method of observation for Arabic language teachers and direct interview. In analyzing the data, the researcher followed the method of Mills and Huberman, which is collecting, presenting and discussing data. The researcher reached the results of the research, including: (1) that the use of the learning strategy by playing has a positive effect to improve students' effectiveness in speaking skill. (2) The students interact in the study through learning through playing, and this is apparent from the result of observing the students’ learning activities with a score of 92.5% (what do you say game) and 95% (the picture description game), which indicates that it occurred between 81-100%, which means excellent.
