Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe: (1) the effect of the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on the problem solving ability of IT Ali Bin Abu Talib Deli Serdang Junior High School students, (2) the effect of learning independence on the problem solving ability of IT Ali Bin Abu Talib Deli Serdang Junior High School students, and (3) the interaction between learning models and learning independence on the problem solving ability of IT Ali Bin Abu Talib Deli Serdang Junior High School students. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with an experimental model. The population of this research is all students of class VIII of Ali Bin Abu Talib IT Junior High School which consists of two classes. The sampling technique that will be used in this study is total sampling. Total sampling is the same sampling technique as the population. Data collection instruments are questionnaires and tests. Normality testing using Liliefors and homogeneity testing using Bartlett. The data analysis technique is two-way analysis of variance at = 0.05. The results showed: (1) there is an effect of the application of learning models on problem solving ability, this is evident from the results of statistical testing which shows Fhitung = 242.4 > Ftable 3.972, (2) there is an effect of learning independence on problem solving ability, this is evident from statistical testing which shows Fhitung = 183.8 > Ftable 3.972, and (3) there is an interaction between learning models and learning independence, this is evident from statistical testing which shows Fhitung = 86.3 > Ftable 3.972.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the implementation of graduate marketing strategies at the As-Sunnah Islamic Religious College (STAI) Deli Serdang, using descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results showed that STAI As-Sunnah implemented an inclusive marketing strategy with a direct approach through social media and digital platforms, as well as an indirect approach through alumni networks, service programmes, and social programmes. STAI As-Sunnah graduates have high competitiveness, especially in syar'i science, Arabic language, and memorisation of the Koran, and are supported by strong Islamic values. STAI As-Sunnah's graduate marketing strategy includes recruitment and job placement, adjustments to the college curriculum, partnerships with related institutions, promotion through social media, and support from alumni and universities.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of PAI learning in using the Merdeka Curriculum in overcoming student stereotypes. This research involves a scope of study that includes the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum in PAI learning and its impact on students' perceptions regarding existing stereotypes. The research method used is a case study by collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation with students and PAI teachers. The results showed that PAI learning with an independent curriculum can be effective in overcoming student stereotypes. The Independent Curriculum provides opportunities for students to develop a broader understanding of Islam, strengthen their identity as individual Muslims, and appreciate diversity in the school community. In addition, PAI learning with the Independent Curriculum also provides space for students to build harmonious relationships between fellow students and teachers, without reinforcing existing negative stereotypes.

Abstract

The psychological approach to preaching is one approach that can be used among teenagers. For this reason, this research aims to use a preaching psychology approach in dealing with the problem of student individualism as a result of developments in science and technology. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews, with the Miles and Huberman model as a data analysis technique. The results of the research show that the preaching psychology approach is an approach that can be used to deal with student individualism by understanding perceptions. The stages of understanding perception carried out are understanding perceptions about social life, providing the social environment as an experience. With the right knowledge and experience, they will slowly shape their personality and not be easily swayed.

Abstract

In the digital era, PAI learning faces challenges in adapting to technological developments and the needs of students who are digital natives. AI offers innovative solutions to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of PAI learning. The research method used is systematic literature review analysis using a dimensions scientific publication database. In this research, data was found from the dimensions database with the keywords Artificial Intelligence OR Educational Development OR Islamic Religious Education, a total of 16 articles. Data management was then adjusted to QR with the result that 14 articles passed verification according to RQ and 3 articles did not comply with a different discussion topic, then these 14 articles continued at the analysis stage and relevant results were obtained. To provide broader article results, a search was added using Publish or Perish found in Scopus, Google Scholar and Pubmed. The research results show that AI can be integrated in various aspects of learning, one of which is PAI learning which is able to provide comprehensive alternatives, as well as in the integration of artificial intelligence by providing various benefits such as adaptive learning, interactive learning media, and automatic assessment systems. Apart from that, AI also provides many benefits in the world of education, then the challenges, strategies and obstacles encountered in implementing AI in PAI learning also face challenges such as ethical issues, data privacy and information security.

Abstract

This study seeks to investigate the kind of compensation obtained by individuals with shyness. The study findings clarify that compensation can be acquired either directly or indirectly, with direct compensation being further categorized into two types. Compensation, from a psychological standpoint, refers to the rewards or benefits that individuals obtain, which can directly contribute to overcoming personal challenges such as shyness and preventing various health conditions including cardiovascular illnesses, elevated blood sugar levels, and others. Furthermore, according to the Islamic viewpoint, providing compensation to a Muslim who possesses a sense of Shame will serve as a deterrent against engaging in immoral actions and transgressions. Moreover, indirect compensation refers to the rewards gained by an individual in the form of Allah's promise, namely the assurance of being granted entry into heaven and being elevated to the greatest rank. This includes being seen as devout, possessing wisdom, and being admired by numerous individuals.

Abstract

Character education develops the ability to determine good and bad and apply the goodness in life. This study aims to determine the role of Islamic boarding schools in shaping character values in students. This research uses a qualitative method, type of case study single case design. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview, observation and documentation. Data were analyzed using an interactive model consisting of collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and concluding. Data validity was obtained through the data source triangulation method. The results of this study show that: (1) planning to instill character values according to the foundation of Presidential Regulation No.87 of 2017 with 18 values of character building and national culture (2) implementation by integrating values into the boarding school curriculum is carried out through 3 aspects, namely: through teaching and learning activities, extracurricular activities, and religious activities of santri (2) The implementation of character education in modern Pesantren Taajussalaam these character values include: religious character, discipline, independence, social care, environmental care, tolerance, love of reading, curiosity, communicative / friendly, and responsibility, (3) in the evaluation there are 10 values embedded in the students' personalities (4) the inhibiting factor is the students themselves. The implication of this research is that it has an impact on increasing the personality of students to be better and have Islamic morals, and also on increasing the achievement of students which can be seen from the achievements they achieve.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the performance and motivation of madrasah principals and teachers, especially in Madrasah Aliyah Swasta YASPI Labuhan Deli Medan City, and can provide insight in implementing strategic management for other madrasahs. This study used a qualitative research approach to collect data through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results showed that madrasah supervisors in MAS YASPI Labuhan Deli Kota Medan have adopted a series of strategies that have proven effective in improving the performance and motivation of madrasah heads and teachers. Through simple steps such as needs analysis, communication, collaboration, goal setting, training, coaching, and rewards, they have succeeded in stimulating growth and progress in the educational environment. Strategy implementation is done through a process that involves open communication, performance observation, active collaboration, and support and recognition of achievements. Evaluation of the strategy is done systematically by assessing success in achieving goals, identifying shortcomings and providing guidance for improvement. Thus, madrasah supervisors not only act as supervisors, but also as leaders and facilitators who help improve the quality of education in MAS YASPI Labuhan Deli Medan City, making the environment more productive and developed.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the madrasah head's strategy in improving teachers' digitalisation skills. This research is motivated by the importance of digitalisation in teachers in supporting the future development of the nation and developing the potential of teachers in facing global competition. The type of research used in this study is qualitative. Data sources were obtained from MIS Al-Iqro' Belawan Medan through observation, interviews and documents. The results obtained in the study of the madrasah head's strategy in improving the digitalisation skills of teachers at MIS Al-Iqro' Belawan Medan are: (1) Teachers' digitalisation skills at MIS Al-Iqro' Belawan Medan vary, but generally show significant improvement after attending training programmes and workshops provided by the madrasah, (2) Implementation of strategies carried out by madrasah principals includes various training programmes, workshops, and seminars that focus on improving teachers' digital skills, (3) Evaluation of the implemented strategies shows positive results, with increased skills and confidence of teachers in using digital technology. Evaluation is conducted through classroom observations, skills tests, and feedback from teachers.

Abstract

This article discusses cultural acculturation in life, especially in the aspect of definition and socio-cultural identity. One of the issues that will be discussed is culture related to the multiculturalism perspective of Islam in Indonesia. The problem includes how to distinguish the concept of Islam in Indonesia and Indonesian Islam where this article will show that socio-cultural modality is the main force of Islam in Indonesia including religion that has an attachment to socio-cultural adaptation. The socio-cultural process gave birth to several cultural aspects including literary works, local songs (tembang), and also building art (architecture). Based on these examples, it can be said that there is adaptation among Muslims with the culture in Indonesia.
