Abstract

Increase in the value a company has often linked to shareholder wellfare as a result of company performance. One of company performance which is financial performance can be seen as economic value added (EVA). EVA is predicted as a variable that can mediating investment opportunity, leverage, and dividend policy in influencing company value with the help of path analysis. This research used cencus of manufacturing companies listed in Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) that sharing its dividend troughout time window 2010 until 2013. As result of this research state, EVA only can mediating leverage influence to company value. Likewise, on examination of variable direct effect is founded only leverage that can influence directly to company value.

Abstract

Organizational citizenship behaviour is the behavior of the extra that are not part of the formal obligations of an employee's work, but support the functioning of the organization effectively. This study aimed to analyze the effect of job satisfaction on organizational commitment and Organizational citizenship behaviour. This research was conducted at the office of the Rector of Udayana University using sample that 57 non-government employees. Data were collected by interviews and questionnaires. Subsequently collected data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and Partial Least Square. The Results of this study concluded that job satisfaction is significant positive effect on organizational commitment and Organizational citizenship behaviour. Other results also indicate that organizational commitment is a significant positive effect on Organizational citizenship behaviour. The implications of this study indicate that the need for efforts to improve satisfaction with co-workers and increasing voluntary participation and support functions of the organization both professionally and social nature.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of corporate social responsibility disclosure on the company’s value, profitability and growth opportunity as the moderating variables. There were 53 companies engaged in agriculture and mining used as sample of this study. Those companies had been listed in stock exchange from 2009 to 2013. Furthermore, the multiple regression analysis is applied to test the hypothesis of this study. The result of the investigation shows that the CSR disclosure has positive effect towards the company’s value. Whereas, profitability and growth opportunity, that are used as moderation variables in relation to the CSR disclosure and company’s value, do not have significant effect.

Abstract

This study aims to provide empirical evidence about corporate social responsibility as a moderating influence earning management and real activity on stock return. This study uses an external secondary data which is obtained by researchers indirectly through and intermediary, sach as other people or documents. The population is the study using 410 manufacturing companies with the observation in 2010 until 2014. Sample selection technique is using purposive sampling and there are 182 observations sample obtained and testing tools used is the analysis Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). This first research results prove that earnings management by discretionary accrual proxy has no effect on stock returns, the results of the second study showed that the activity of the real proxied by the cash flow from operating activities impact on stock return. The results of a third study corporate social responsibility weaken earnings management influence on stock returns, while the fourth research results prove that corporate social responsibility strengthens the influence of real activity on stock return.

Abstract

Social security has been accepted as an instrument for the prevention and alleviation of poverty because it can increase the productivity of labor. Submission of the convenience of information and services via the Internet has been adopted to support it. The purpose of this study was to clarify the effect of e-servqual to customer satisfaction, trust, and word of mouth participants BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. The research data were used in the form of figures the growth rate of Internet users, the numbers increase user participation and online services BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, as well as the distribution of the questionnaire to test the variables in the study, using purposive sampling techniques BPJS Ketenagakerjaan to 100 participants who have been using online services. The analytical method used, namely, Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the application of SPSS and AMOS. This study showed that, the whole hypothesis can be accepted that e-servqual contribute positively and significantly to customer satisfaction, trust, and word of mouth. customer satisfaction and significant positive role towards trust, and word of mouth. trust plays a positive and significant impact on word of mouth. The theoretical implication of this study further enrich the theories e-servqual, customer satisfaction, trust, and word of mouth. Managerial implication in this study suggested that the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan consider factors - factors other than the dimensions of responsiveness as socializing on a regular basis for security and ease of use of online services, as well as providing stimulus to participants who are able to invite others to sign up as a participant.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to find an empirical evidence about what factors are capable to influence the level of intellectual capital disclosure among Indonesian listed firms. The variables tested in this study are profitability ratio, leverage ratio, proportion of independent commisioner, ownership concentration, and quality of external audit. Intellectual capital disclosure are knowledge based disclosure and how this disclosure explains the way in which companies adapt their strategies in order to create and sustain competitive advantages. The population are taken from Indonesia Stock Exchange over the period 2010-2014 which are listed on LQ-45 Index. The sampling method on this study is purposive sampling method with total sample 225. The result shows that leverage ratio and quality of external audit are significantly influence intellectual capital disclosure.

Abstract

Data collected through interviews, observation, and questionnaires. The study population was a civil servant at the Civil Service Police Unit Member of Denpasar. Samples taken in startified random sampling as much as 81 respondents. The analysis technique used to answer the problem of this research is the technique of path analysis with SPSS for Window 21. The results of this study indicate that 1) the education variable positive and significant effect on the variable organizational commitment; 2) variable work experience positive and significant effect on organizational commitment; 3) organizational commitment variable and not significant positive effect on job performance; 4) education variable positive and significant effect on work performance and 5) variable work experience and significant positive effect on work performance.

Abstract

Return adalah hasil yang diperoleh investor dari investasi yang dilakukannya.  Penilaian terhadap return yang akan diterima oleh investor yang akan berinvestasi di industri perbankan dapat menggunakan informasi-informasi keuangan bank yang tersedia dalam laporan keuangan bank guna mengukur kinerja bank. Kinerja bank tidak terlepas dari risiko yang dapat mengganggu keuntungan bank, seperti risiko kredit dan risiko nilai tukar dan kedua risiko ini merupakan risiko yang berpengaruh terhadap ketahanan perbankan Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui signifikansi pengaruh risiko kredit dan risiko nilai tukar terhadap profitabilitas dan return saham perbankan. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 28 bank yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh dari publikasi laporan keuangan perbankan pada tahun 2011-2014. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis jalur (path analysis) dan uji Sobel (Sobel test). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa risiko kredit berpengaruh negatif tidak signifikan terhadap return saham dan berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap profitabilitas, risiko nilai tukar berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap return saham dan berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap profitabilitas, profitabilitas berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap return saham. Uji Sobel (Sobel test) dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel profitabilitas mampu memediasi risiko kredit terhadap return saham.

Abstract

This research examined the effect of situational leadership style, organizational culture and motivation on employee performance at PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Bali Cabang Badung. This research was 95 employess at PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Bali Cabang Badung and entire unit underneath the status of a permanent employee. Sampling was done by saturation sampling technique that is part of the non probability sampling method in which this technique sampling an even number equal to the population. Multiple regression model was used to test the influence of independent variables on the dependent variables.The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that situational leadership style, organizational culture and motivation positive effect on the employee's performance at PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Bali Cabang Badung. shows that the higher the situational leadership style, organizational culture and motivation will be higher the performance of employees.

Abstract

Inequalities and the issue of globalization has implications for the acceleration of economic development in a focused area through the development of the region and its flagship product. Program OVOP (One Village One Product) agriculture asparagus in District Petang Badung district is agricultural, excellent products which have marketing potential of local and international (export), as well as value-added products, in order to compete with products from outside, increasing the income of rural people, reduce urbanization.  This study aimed to analyze the influence; 1) training, education, age, land area, number of employees, work experience, and capital to total production of asparagus. 2) training, education, age, land area, number of employees, work experience, capital and production quantities of the productivity of farmers asparagus. 3) indirect training, education, age, land area, number of employees, work experience, and capital to productivity through production quantities of asparagus farmers in the district of Badung regency Petang. The data sources used, there are two primary data obtained from interviews to farmers asparagus and secondary data obtained from cooperative partnership in the District OVOP Petang, Badung regency. Data collection methods used were interviews and questionnaires, with a number of respondents as many as 110 people. The analytical tool used is descriptive analysis and path analysis.
