Abstract

 Education plays a major role in a person's life, because education allows the development of individual potential and abilities to determine their future. Teachers play an important role in teaching, guiding, and encouraging students. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach in a natural environment. It aims to reveal the phenomena that occur in the field through a descriptive research design that uses written and oral conversations between the author and informants. Based on the results of interviews conducted by the researcher, it was found that differentiated learning using the Problem Based Learning model, especially in PPKn subjects in class VII, made students happier and more interested because the role of the teacher, especially in PPKn subjects, made students enthusiastic in learning because the role of the teacher as a motivator greatly influenced the teaching and learning process. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of Problem Based Learning in differentiated learning in PPKn subjects has proven to be effective in the learning process.Keywords: the role of the teacher, differentiation, problem based learningDOI: 10.23960/jmmp.v12.i2.2024.30325

Abstract

The main question addressed in this study is how the implementation of the Independent Curriculum and the work environment influence the work motivation of SLB teachers, and the extent to which social competence strengthens or weakens this relationship. This study aims to analyze the influence of the implementation of the Independent Curriculum and the work environment on teacher work motivation, with social competence as a moderating variable. The method used was quantitative with an explanatory research approach. The study sample consisted of 92 teachers from 12 SLBs in Tulungagung Regency, selected proportionally. Data analysis used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results showed that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum (β = 0.846; p < 0.001) and the work environment (β = 0.846; p < 0.001) had a positive and significant effect on work motivation. However, social competence, as a moderator variable, weakened this relationship (β = -0.563; p < 0.001), indicating that teachers with high levels of social competence tend to face emotional burden and role conflict that hinder motivation. This study suggests the need for psychosocial support and workload management to ensure that social competence does not become a burden, but rather a professional strength for teachers. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for formulating policies to continuously improve the quality of special education teachers.

Abstract

Abstract: The Effect of the Mindmapping-based Lecture Method assisted by Crosswords on Short Term Memory in terms of the Visual Type Learning Styles of students in Civics Class VII Subject at SMPN 1 Boyolangu. This research is motivated by the application of the lecture method by Civics teachers at SMPN 1 Boyolangu which is still conventional and does not really follow the development of students in the current era. As a result, students feel bored and bored because learning is less interesting and more varied. As a result, now students become less responsive and tend to choose silence without any desire to respond to every question asked by the teacher, besides that students also look quite difficult or unable to remember clearly if asked to convey their own ideas about what is being taught. The research method used is the Pre-Experimental Design type One Shot Case Study. The population in this study were 398 students. The sample used was 76 students from class VII A and B at SMPN 1 Boyolangu. Data collection uses tests and questionnaires while hypothesis testing goes through several stages such as instrument testing, prerequisite testing and data analysis. The results of the study were obtained if the mindmapping-based lecture method assisted by crossword puzzles on students' short term memory in terms of the visual learning styles of class VII students of SMPN 1 Boyolangu had an effect simultaneously or partially with positive significance. So that it can be concluded that if this method is applied in learning Civics subjects it will further encourage student enthusiasm in learning and be able to increase short term memory more sharply when absorbing information conveyed in the teacher's learning process of Civics subjects.Keywords: Visual learning style, Mindmapping, Short term memory, Crossword puzzleDOI: 10.23960/jmmp.v11.i2.2023.04

Abstract

Media pembelajaran adalah alat atau sarana pembelajaran yang digunakan guru dan pengajar lainnya dengan tujuan meningkatkan efektivitas, kualitas, dan mengatasi masalah selama proses pembelajaran. Dalam pembelajaran sering dijumpai beberapa siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam pemecahan masalah. Lembar kerja siswa merupakan salah satu media pembelajaran yang dirancang untuk mengatasi masalah dalam proses pembelajaran siswa tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui kevalidan pengembangan media pembelajaran PERINTIS (Perbandingan Interaktif Siswa) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa SMP kelas VII. Penelitian ini mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE dengan tahap-tahap sistematis untuk mengembangan produk pembelajaran. Model ADDIE yang digunakan peneliti terdiri atas : Analyxe, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Dalam penilaian kelayakan produk pengembangan ini divalidasikan oleh ahli media, ahli materi, dan praktisi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa tingkat kelayakan pengembangan media pembelajaran PERINTIS memperoleh validasi ahli media mendapat prosentase 93,85% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”, dari validasi ahli materi mendapat prosentase 92,052%. dengan kategori “Layak”, dan dari validasi ahli praktisi mendapat peosentase 95,25% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”, Dengan demikian media pembelajaran PERINTIS (Perbandingan Interaktif Siswa)  layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran matematika siswa SMP kelas VII.

Abstract

Sejak kurun waktu sekitar lima tahun kebelakang di Tulungagung banyak terjadi kasus kasus pelanggaran hukum yang disebabkan oleh siswa yang masih duduk dibangku sekolah menengah pertama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Penguatan Civic Disposition untuk meningkatkann perilaku berkesadaran hukum dikalangan siswa. Adapun rumusan dalam penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana kesadaran hukum siswa SMP Negeri 1 Pucanglaban terhadap tata tertib sekolah dapat meningkat melalui penguatan civic disposition yang ada dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif yaitu analisis data dalam bentuk kata- kata, kalimat atau paragraf yang dinyatakan dalam bentuk deskriptif dengan tiga tahapan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan, Sumber data pada penelitian ini yaitu Wakil Kepala Sekolah bidang Kesiswaan, Guru Pendidikan Pancasila, dan 10 Siswa SMP Negeri 1 Pucanglaban, serta teknik pengumpulan datanya dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Penguatan Civic Disposition dapat meningkatkan perilaku berkesadaran hukum terhadap tata tertib dikalangan siswa erutama dalam membentuk kedisiplinan dan sikap tanggung jawab pada siswa sehingga nilai- nilai dalam Civic Disposition dapat tertanam dalam diri siawa dan mampu memahami akan aturan yang telah ditetapkan sehingga siswa menjadi paham akan Hak dan Kewajiban sebagai warga negara.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between learning styles, learning activities, and parental attention with the learning achievement of fifth-grade elementary school students in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) in Boyolangu District, Tulungagung Regency. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The sample size was 151 students drawn using simple random sampling from four public elementary schools. Data collection used questionnaires and academic grade documentation, while data analysis was conducted through multiple linear regression. The results showed that all three independent variables had a positive and significant relationship with learning achievement, both partially and simultaneously. Partially, learning styles had a significance value of 0.009 with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.491 (moderate category), learning activities had a significance value of 0.001 with r = 0.498 (moderate category), and parental attention showed the strongest influence with a significance value of 0.003 and r = 0.894 (strong category). Simultaneously, all three variables had a significant relationship with academic achievement (significance 0.002), although the strength of the relationship was moderate (R = 0.308). This finding indicates that student academic success depends not only on internal factors such as learning styles and activities, but is also significantly influenced by parental support at home. The practical implication of this study is the importance of collaboration between teachers and parents in designing learning strategies responsive to student characteristics to improve the quality of science learning outcomes in elementary schools.

endidikan Indonesia tengah menghadapi tantangan kualitas, ditandai oleh rendahnya capaian literasi dan numerasi berdasarkan hasil PISA 2022. Sebagai bagian dari upaya transformasi, pendekatan deep learning (pembelajaran mendalam) menekankan pada pemahaman bermakna (meaningful learning), pembelajaran yang sadar (mindful learning), dan menyenangkan (joyful learning). Guru Penggerak memiliki peran strategis sebagai agen perubahan dalam mengintegrasikan pendekatan ini ke dalam praktik pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis persepsi Guru Penggerak terhadap pendekatan deep learning dalam transformasi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode fenomenologi. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dengan sejumlah Guru Penggerak di Kabupaten Tulungagung yang telah memiliki pengalaman dalam menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran deep learning. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas Guru Penggerak memiliki pemahaman yang baik dan sikap positif terhadap deep learning. Mereka menilai pendekatan ini efektif dalam meningkatkan partisipasi aktif siswa, membangun koneksi antar konsep, serta memfasilitasi pembelajaran yang reflektif dan kontekstual. Namun, masih ditemukan beberapa kendala seperti keterbatasan fasilitas, miskonsepsi terkait deep learning yang disamakan dengan kecerdasan buatan, serta kurangnya pelatihan intensif. Kesimpulannya, persepsi positif dari Guru Penggerak menjadi modal penting dalam mewujudkan transformasi pembelajaran abad 21. Dibutuhkan pelatihan berkelanjutan, pendampingan profesional, serta penguatan komunitas belajar untuk mendukung implementasi deep learning secara optimal di sekolah. Kata Kunci: Persepsi, Guru Penggerak, Deep Learning, Transformasi Pembelajaran.

Abstract

Digitization of learning as a form of innovation requires adaptation and acceptance from teachers. Teacher perception is a key factor in determining the success of this innovation's implementation in schools. This study aims to describe the implementation of digitization in mathematics learning and teachers' perceptions of digitization in learning at Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah (MAM) Watulimo Trenggalek. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and tested for validity through triangulation. The results of the study show that the digitization of mathematics learning at MAM Watulimo has been applied comprehensively across the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages of learning. The number of classes supports this implementation in line with standards, the availability of digital devices, adequate madrasah facilities, and teacher collaboration. Teachers' perceptions of the digitization of mathematics learning are generally positive. Teachers assessed that this innovation offers relative advantages, such as increased efficiency, easier access to materials, and a variety of learning methods. In terms of compatibility, teachers feel that digitalization aligns with professional values and the needs of today's students. However, there is still a negative perception of the complexity, especially regarding the constraints of using technology by teachers who are not familiar with digital devices.Keywords: Digitalization, Mathematics Learning, Teacher Perception

Abstract

This research aims to develop a Project Citizenship-based Microlearning learning model in Civic Education courses to improve students' civic disposition in higher education. By using the Research and Development (R&D) method based on the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), this research produces innovative learning media that is effective, flexible, and relevant to meet the needs of digital era students. The results showed that the majority of students (78%) felt that civic learning was too theoretical, and 82% wanted a more practical approach. Therefore, a microlearning module was designed with interactive content in the form of short videos, infographics, quizzes, and applicable citizenship projects. The product was validated by material and media experts with validity levels of 89% and 87% respectively. The implementation of this model involved 70 students and was carried out for six month. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in the aspects of civic disposition: civic knowledge (20%), civic skills (21%), civic responsibility (23%), and civic participation (26%). Microlearning-based learning provides time flexibility, while integration with project citizenship motivates students to contribute directly to social activities. In conclusion, the development of microlearning based on project citizenship is effective in improving students' civic disposition, with advantages in the form of concise, practical material delivery, and being able to build active involvement. This finding makes an important contribution to the innovation of Civic Education learning in the digital era.
