Abstract

Kelapa sawit merupakan komoditas unggulan bagi negara Indonesia dalam perdagangan internasional. Kelapa sawit termasuk dalam sepuluh komoditas ekspor utama Indonesia dikarenakan daya saingnya yang kompetitif dalam perdagangan internasional. Daya saing tersebut didasarkan pada produktivitas per hektar kelapa sawit di Indonesia yang cukup tinggi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Provinsi Sumatera Selatan tepatnya di Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin, Banyuasin dan Ogan Komering Ilir. Penentuan lokasi dilakukan secara sengaja (Purposive) dengan pertimbangan bahwa ketiga Kabupaten ini merupakan  Kabupaten yang luas tanamnya paling besar  dibandingkan dengan Kabupaten yang lain di Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei. Metode penarikan contoh yang digunakan dalam penelitian yang berjudul prosfek pengembangan perkebunan sawit di Provinsi Sumatera Selatan yaitu metode acak berlapis. Untuk menjawab rumusan masalah digunakan analisis SWOT dengan menggunakan teknik analisis SWOT dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa posisi faktor internal berada pada skor pada kekuatan sebesar 4,92 dan 2,00 pada kelemahan, hal ini berarti menunjukan bahwa keadaan faktor internal sangat kuat untuk kegiatan pengembangan usaha perkebunan di Sumatera Selatan. Berdasarkan tabel tersebut dapat dilihat skor tertinggi untuk kekuatan yaitu terdapat pada variabel proyeksi konsumsi CPO. Sedangkan diketahui bahwa posisi faktor eksternal berada pada skor pada peluang sebesar 4,00 dan 2,00 pada ancaman, hal ini berarti menunjukan bahwa keadaan faktor eksternal sangat kuat untuk kegiatan pengembangan usaha perkebunan di Sumatera Selatan. Berdasarkan kurva matriks SWOT prospek pengembangan perkebunan kelapa sawit di Sumatera Selatan yang mengacu pada hasil perhitungan tersebut berada pada kuadran I yaitu strategi agresif, artinya kondisi ini menguntungkan bagi petani di dalam menjalankan perkebunan kelapa sawitnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pendapatan petani melon di Kabupaten OKU Timur serta merumuskan strategi yang tepat untuk meningkatkan pendapatan petani melon di Kabupaten OKU Timur. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2023 hingga Januari 2024. Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian deskriptif melalui pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode sensus atau total sampling pada petani sebagai responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pendapatan petani yang berusahatani melon di Kabupaten OKU Timur rata-rata sebesar Rp 29.820.763,00 per musim tanam dengan rata-rata produksi buah melon sebanyak 8.000 kg per musim tanam dengan luasan rata-rata tanaman melon yang diusahakan sebesar 0,25 ha. Strategi yang dapat diterapkan dalam upaya meningkatkan pendapatan petani melon di Kabupaten OKU Timur adalah Strategi SO, yaitu dengan menggunakan kekuatan dan memanfaatkan peluang yang ada, diantaranya yaitu memanfaatkan sumber daya alam dengan baik agar kualitas dan kuantitas produksi melon tetap optimal, memaksimalkan  tenaga kerja yang ada, meningkatkan produksi dengan memanfaatkan akses kredit, serta membuat produk olahan melon (sirup, selai, dll).

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisa Strategi faktor internal dan faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi metode penelitian pengembangan program pekarangan pangan lestari di kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu. Metode pengolahan dan analisis data  yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu melalui analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan analisis deskriptif kualitatif.  Pengolahan data analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan matriks IFAS (Internal Factor Analysis Summary) dan Matriks EFAS (Eksternal Factor Analysis Summary).  Matriks ini menggambarkan bagaimana kondisi internal yakni kekuatan dan kelemahan, dan kondisi eksternal yakni peluang dan ancaman yang dihadapi oleh anggota program pekarangan pangan lestari di Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi anggota-anggota kelompok pelaksana program pekarangan pangan lestari (P2L) di Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu pada periode tahun 2020, 2021 sampai dengan tahun 2022 untuk memanfaatkan pekarangan rumah masih relatif rendah karena tidak efisien. Keberhasilan program P2L di Kabupaten Ogan Komering ini lebih banyak terlihat pada pemanfaatan lahan demplot yang dikerjakan bersama oleh anggota Kelompok. Secara kuantitatif bahwa perhitungan hasil penelitian menunjukkan strategi yang direkomendasikan penentuan skala prioritas adalah pada kuadran I yang menjadi pilihan yaitu dengan posisi titik SO (6,28 : 5,04) lebih besar dibanding dengan kuadran II (WO), kuadran III (ST), dan kuadran IV (WT), sehingga petani dapat mendukung kebijakan pertumbuhan yang agresif (Growth oriented strategy) dengan kekuatan yang ada dalam memanfaatkan peluang untukpengembangan program Pekarangan Pangan Lestari (P2L) di Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu. Abstract

Karena budaya patriarki, kepedulian terhadap korban kekerasan dalam rumah tangga sangatlah penting baik bagi korban maupun pelaku, serta keluarganya. Budaya patriarki adalah budaya yang menempatkan laki-laki diprioritaskan atau ditempatkan di atas perempuan. Dalam budaya patriarki, laki-laki mempunyai kekuasaan lebih besar dibandingkan perempuan. Akibat budaya patriarki tersebut, berbagai tindak kekerasan terjadi di dalam keluarga, seolah-olah laki-laki sebagai suami mempunyai kekuasaan yang terlalu besar dan bisa memaksakan segala kehendaknya. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya pemberian saran dan dukungan terhadap bentuk-bentuk kekerasan dalam rumah tangga, faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya kekerasan dalam rumah tangga, dan pandangan masyarakat terhadap terjadinya kekerasan dalam rumah tangga khususnya di wilayah Organ Komering Ulu.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the factors affecting employee performance at Bank Mandiri, Tbk. Methodology: A quantitative descriptive method was employed, using a sample of 61 employees in the Baturaja cluster. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS 21. Results: The results reveal that work discipline, motivation, and facilities and infrastructure significantly influence employee performance. Conversely, the work environment does not significantly affect employee performance due to employees' high adaptability and ability to work effectively in diverse conditions. Findings: This study highlights that internal factors like discipline and motivation play a more critical role in enhancing employee performance than external factors like the work environment. Originality: This research provides insights specific to Bank Mandiri employees, offering practical implications for improving employee performance in banking. Novelty: The findings emphasize the reduced influence of external factors, such as the work environment, in highly adaptable teams. Conclusions: Work discipline, motivation, and infrastructure are key drivers of employee performance, while adaptability minimizes environmental influence. Type of Paper: Quantitative descriptive research paper.

Abstract

This study explains the problems in terms of the factors that influence the application of agricultural technology in Veteran Jaya Village, Martapura District, East OKU Regency. This study emphasizes the role of farmer groups in the application of agricultural technology in Veteran Jaya Village, Martapura District, East OKU Regency, especially in rain-fed rice farming. The purpose of this study was to describe the factors that influence the application of agricultural technology in Veteran Jaya Village, Martapura District, East OKU Regency. The type of research used in this study is the quantitative descriptive method (Valeriana et al., 2020). The data obtained from the study population sample were analyzed according to the statistical method used and then interpreted. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the factors (X1) age of farmers, (X2) length of education, (X3) land area, (X4) have a significant effect on farmers' decisions to apply agricultural technology in Veteran Jaya Village, Martapura District, East OKU Regency. The most influential factor in the application of agricultural technology in Veteran Jaya Village, Martapura District, East OKU Regency is the experience of farming rice fields with a standard value of the partial regression coefficient of 6.049.

Abstract

The agricultural sector has a massive role in the economic growth of a country, especially an agrarian country like Indonesia. One effort to improve the community's economy, reduce poverty, and improve the distribution of community income can be made by developing agroindustry. Cassava has become an agro-industrial commodity. Fresh cassava only lasts for a short time and is priced low. However, if further processing is carried out and managed optimally, cassava can provide more excellent economic value, thereby providing substantial profits for farmers and the community. This research aims to analyze strategies that can be formulated and implemented to develop the local cassava food business in Bukit Sari Village, Martapura District, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. The research method used in this research is the survey method. The results of this discussion show that there is an opportunity in the cassava chips business for business actors to develop their business into souvenirs from Bukit Sari Village, Martapura District, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency and the threat to the cassava chips business is that there are competitors for other snack and fast food products so that these cassava chips are forgotten.

Abstract

The Muaradua Kisam sub-district government as one of the government organizations, of course, also has the main task of providing civil services and public services for its community in addition to empowerment and development tasks. However, in the practice of government in the Muaradua Kisam sub-district in the previous period, there was a tendency for the sub-district government to prioritize development tasks over service tasks to the community. As a result, service tasks that should take precedence, are actually neglected while the implementation of development tasks has also not succeeded in improving welfare that satisfies the community fairly and evenly. This research method is a descriptive method with qualitative data analysis, with the aim of knowing the role of the government in organizing public service management and knowing the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of government services in the muaradua kisam sub-district. The results showed that the role of the Muaradua Kisam sub-district government in the task of organizing public services in Muaradua Kisam sub-district is running well. However, human resources and service facilities are still a factor inhibiting these services. so that it is expected to improve or perfect the role of government in organizing public service tasks in the Muaradua Kisam sub-district, OKU Selatan Regency in the future.

Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is one of the activities carried out by a company as a form of responsibility, where the company has a responsibility towards the social and environmental community around it and the wider community in order to realize shared prosperity. This research will be conducted at PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk in Sukajadi Village, Baturaja Timur District, OKU Regency. The determination of the location was carried out intentionally (Purposive) considering that PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk is the main cement factory in South Sumatra. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The sampling method used in this study is the stratified random sampling method. With a sample of 60 consisting of 30 people who received the CSR program and Employees. Analysis of the data processed in the study is primary and secondary data. The results of the study show the Realization of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program of PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero), Tbk. observations can be concluded that it has been running effectively. Analysis of the effectiveness of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program of PT. Abstract

This community service project aims to develop the cultivation of medicinal plants (TOGA) in Persiapan Sinar Bhakti Village, OKU Regency, as a solution for creating productive and environmentally friendly yards that support food security and public health. The method used in this activity involves providing training to the local community on how to cultivate TOGA plants, followed by the planting of various medicinal plants and vegetables in the available yard. The land used measures 10x15 meters and is divided into two plant blocks, namely Toga Tulip and Toga Wijaya. Some of the plants cultivated include Turmeric, Lemongrass, Kencur, Kumis Kucing, Galangal, White Turmeric, Saga Leaves, Black Sugarcane, Mahkota Dewa, Temulawak, Ginger, as well as vegetables such as Chili, Eggplant, and Water Spinach. This activity not only has a positive impact on the sustainability of yard utilization but also enhances the community's knowledge on the use of medicinal plants for health purposes, while providing an alternative source of income through the cultivation of marketable vegetables. The results of this activity show that the community of Sinar Bhakti Village has successfully understood and implemented the techniques for cultivating medicinal plants and vegetables. This success is expected to improve food security, promote healthier lifestyles, and reduce reliance on chemical medicines for treatment.
