Abstract

Abstract In an era of increasingly inclusive and future-oriented education, research on the development of Montessori approaches and inclusive education has become highly relevant and important. This research aims to analyze the development of research on Montessori education and inclusive education globally, including the integration of special needs such as dementia care. The method used is a descriptive quantitative approach with bibliometric analysis through data from the Scopus database, using related keywords such as "Montessori education" and "inclusive education." Data were collected from relevant articles and then analyzed to identify publication trends, geographic distribution, institutional contributions, as well as the relationships between concepts through network visualization and heat maps. The research results indicate that the United States dominates in publications and institutional contributions, followed by European countries and Australia. The publication trend shows a significant increase year on year, with a growing focus on inclusion and dementia care issues in the Montessori context. Network visualizations display the complex relationships among innovative educational concepts and various methodological approaches. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening international collaboration and developing educational policies that support inclusive Montessori approaches, as well as demonstrating that developments in this research play a crucial role in expanding the adoption and innovation of global education that is responsive to the diverse needs of learners.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of motivation classes on enhancing participants’ self-awareness and reinforcing their life values. Utilizing a quantitative approach with a pre-test and post-test experimental design, the study involved 186 respondents who participated in the motivation classes. The instrument used was a closed-ended questionnaire with a 1-4 Likert scale, measuring the two main variables. The Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test results showed significant differences in both variables, with a p-value of 0.000 for self-awareness and reinforcement of life values, indicating that the motivation classes had a positive effect on improving self-awareness and strengthening life values. Furthermore, the results of the Spearman's Rank Correlation analysis revealed a significant positive correlation between increased self-awareness and reinforcement of life values (r = 0.62, p = 0.000). These findings support the theory that enhanced self-awareness is associated with strengthened life values, which in turn can improve individuals’ psychological well-being. Overall, the study concludes that motivation classes can serve as an effective means of personal development, positively impacting self-awareness and life values, and contributing to individual well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a systematic review of the application of Linear Programming (LP) in optimizing educational management. The method employed is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), with the literature selection process following the PRISMA framework by reviewing articles from the Scopus database published between 2015 and 2025. The analysis reveals that LP plays a significant role in addressing educational challenges such as class scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management. Moreover, the application of LP also contributes to the development of students’ analytical skills through practical mathematical modeling. The findings indicate that LP not only offers optimization solutions in educational management but also enhances students’ analytical abilities through data-driven decision-making and mathematical modeling. However, the study also identifies several critical gaps, including the lack of LP integration into basic curricula, limitations of models in accounting for social and emotional variables, and challenges in dealing with uncertain data. The study recommends the development of more contextual and integrative LP-based learning models using a multi-criteria approach. The novelty of this research lies in the formulation of a conceptual framework that combines LP with real-world, project-based interdisciplinary learning as a foundation for developing data-driven educational innovations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Team Game Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model on improving Arabic reading skills (maharah qirāʾah) of fourth-grade students at elementary school Nahdlatul Ulama 12 Darun Najah. The research addresses the problem of low Arabic reading ability due to the use of less innovative teaching methods. Research approach a quantitative with a one-group pretest-posttest design was employed. The sample consisted of 24 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through reading skill tests and observations. Data analysis included normality testing, homogeneity testing, paired sample t-test, and effect size calculation using Cohen’s. The results showed that the use of the TGT model significantly improved Arabic reading skills, as evidenced by a p-value of less than 0.05 in statistical tests. Furthermore, TGT created an active, competitive, and collaborative learning environment, enhancing students' motivation and social interaction. In conclusion, the TGT model is effective for improving maharah qirāʾah skills in Arabic language learning at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Abstrak:                                                                                                                  Kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) berkembang pesat dan diterapkan dalam berbagai bidang seperti kesehatan, pendidikan, dan ekonomi, namun di balik manfaatnya terdapat tantangan etika dan tanggung jawab moral, terutama terkait bias algoritmik, privasi data, serta keadilan sosial. Dalam perspektif Islam, pengembangan AI harus sejalan dengan nilai-nilai keadilan (Al-‘Adl), kejujuran (Ash-Shidq), dan kemaslahatan umat (Al-Maslahah), sehingga penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran (mixed methods) dengan analisis bibliometrik kuantitatif untuk mengidentifikasi tren penelitian AI serta pendekatan kualitatif guna memahami perspektif Islam dalam etika AI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam publikasi AI selama satu dekade terakhir, dengan dominasi oleh negara-negara maju seperti Amerika Serikat, China, dan India, sementara negara berkembang masih menghadapi kendala akses teknologi dan sumber daya penelitian. Dalam konteks Islam, AI memiliki potensi besar untuk kemaslahatan umat, misalnya dalam pendidikan dengan penerapan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi, dalam kesehatan untuk meningkatkan akurasi diagnosis medis, serta dalam ekonomi Islam guna mendukung sistem keuangan berbasis syariah, namun pengembangannya harus berlandaskan transparansi, keadilan, dan tanggung jawab moral agar tidak menimbulkan dampak negatif seperti eksploitasi data atau diskriminasi algoritmik. Oleh karena itu, regulasi berbasis etika Islam diperlukan untuk memastikan AI berkembang secara adil dan bertanggung jawab, sehingga kolaborasi antara ilmuwan AI dan pakar Islam menjadi penting dalam menciptakan kebijakan serta sistem AI yang tidak hanya canggih secara teknologi tetapi juga berlandaskan nilai-nilai Islam, sehingga AI dapat menjadi alat inovasi yang memberikan manfaat luas bagi umat manusia tanpa melanggar prinsip moral dan sosial.

Abstract

The digital era has brought significant changes to various aspects of life, including education. This article explores innovations in Islamic religious education that leverage digital technology to foster religious tolerance among students. Through the "Beyond the Wall" learning model, which includes the use of educational applications, e-learning platforms, and augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technologies, the learning process becomes more interactive, personalised, and contextual. This study uses a qualitative case study method at SDN Tempurejo 2 Jember, which has integrated technology into Islamic religious education. The results indicate that the use of digital technology not only enhances student engagement and understanding of the subject matter but also effectively internalises values of religious tolerance. Interfaith interactions through collaborative projects and dialogue forums help students understand and appreciate differences, build solidarity, and develop a strong attitude of tolerance. The main challenges faced are the digital divide, the need for teacher training, and issues of digital security and ethics. With the right strategies, this learning model can be an effective solution for shaping students' character to be more tolerant and appreciative of diversity in the digital era. This study uses data collection techniques involving in-depth interviews with teachers, students, and parents, as well as direct observations of the learning process at SDN Tempurejo 2 Jember. Additionally, documentation in the form of video recordings and field notes was used to explore the dynamics of student interactions in a technology-based collaborative project. The collected data were analyzed using a thematic analysis approach, where the data were grouped into key themes related to understanding religious tolerance, the use of technology in learning, and the challenges faced. This analysis also includes mapping student involvement in collaborative projects and dialogue forums. To ensure the validity of the data, this study employed source triangulation, which compares the results of interviews, observations, and documentation. Furthermore, member checking was carried out by requesting confirmation from informants to ensure the accuracy of the collected data. External validity was also tested by comparing the findings of this study with relevant literature on the use of technology in Islamic religious education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan mengevaluasi efektivitas pembelajaran matematika berbasis outdoor learning dengan menggunakan aplikasi Match City Map di lingkungan stool taman Universitas Islam Jember. Model pembelajaran ini mengintegrasikan teknologi berbasis lokasi dengan eksplorasi lingkungan nyata untuk menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang kontekstual, interaktif, dan aplikatif. Metode penelitian menggunakan model Research and Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan ADDIE, melibatkan mahasiswa PGMI Semester VI sebagai subjek penelitian. Aktivitas pembelajaran dirancang untuk mendorong kemampuan pemecahan masalah kompleks melalui pengukuran langsung objek nyata dan pemanfaatan aplikasi digital. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan pretest-posttest dan analisis kuantitatif serta kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis mahasiswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran ini. Selain itu, pendekatan ini juga meningkatkan motivasi, keterlibatan, dan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa integrasi outdoor learning dan teknologi digital berbasis lokasi efektif untuk memperkaya strategi pembelajaran matematika abad ke-21, sekaligus menjembatani kesenjangan antara teori dan praktik dalam konteks pembelajaran kontekstual dan inovatif.
