Abstract

Berawal dari fakta guru-guru yang mengisolasi diri untuk berinterkasi dengan guru lain; tidak mau berbagi (sharing pengalaman) dan enggan bekerja sama menyelesaikan masalah pembelajaran, maka penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memahami nilai-nilai budaya Samaturu sehingga semangat kolaborasi guru memulai lesson study bisa tumbuh. Dengan menggunakan teori Dick & Carey, pendekatan semi research and development dipilih untuk memformulasi Model hipotetik Lesson Study berdasarkan Spirit Samaturu. Peneliti menggunakan study pustaka dan study lapangan; melakukan wawancara kepada beberapa informan yang terdiri dari tokoh masyarakat lokal, dan administrator sekolah. Data yang dikumpukan kemudian dianalisa secara sejajar; membandingkan data lapangan dan penelitian-penelitian terdahulu. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan jika budaya Samaturu mengandung nilai semangat kerjasama, tolong menolong, ikhlas dan lain-lain. Mengekstraksi nilai Samaturu akan bermanfaat untuk menumbuhkan semangat kolaborasi guru-guru. Samaturu mengajarkan kepada guru-guru agar dapat berkontribusi pada kegiatan lesson study menurut kemampuan masing-masing; berdasarkan keikhlasan dan suka rela, tanpa pamrih, dan meyakini jika kerja atau usaha tersebut bermanfaat bagi kepentingan bersama.

Abstract

Education This study aimed to explore the strategy to maintain lecturers, particularly in private higher education. It is important because the growth of private universities makes qualified lecturers contested. Responding to that crisis, leaders imposed to construct a strategy to keep them. The required data were collected by interviewing selected respondents determined by the key informant. The instrument used in gathering data was a semi-structured interview. The data then analyzed with the inductive model by Miles, Huberman, & Saldana. The result of the study reveals that: higher education should respond to what is prompting lecturers to move. They must take responsibility for every lecturer resigning and to intervene immediately to find out the reasons that make the lecturer to resign. In terms of the strategy to counter the lecturer’s switch out, the researcher constructed a strategy to magnetize them to remain through concerning more seriously on some aspects, for instance: payment, leadership style, career development, conducive-work life, adequate well-resourced libraries, recognition, and workload. All these efforts addressed to motivate them in working then decide to remain in the institution. Lastly, the researcher also recommends to others to test the conclusion by applying a quantitative approach

Abstract

This research was conducted to investigate the quality of civil registration administration services in Pinrang District, focusing on identifying existing challenges and proposing improvements to enhance public satisfaction. The main objective was to conduct a thorough analysis of civil registration services, particularly regarding delays in the issuance of Electronic Identity Cards (e-KTP) and the physical infrastructure of service centers. A qualitative approach was employed, using data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews with administrative staff and direct observations at service locations. Key informants included administrative personnel and service users. Data were analyzed descriptively to identify patterns and major findings related to service quality. The study revealed that while there has been progress in service quality, challenges such as delays, and physical infrastructure deficiencies still need to be addressed. Recommendations for optimizing administrative processes, improving infrastructure, integrating technology, and enhancing staff training aim to improve service efficiency, responsiveness, and support sustainable and inclusive development in Pinrang District.

Abstract

Problem: The governance of the education unit under the auspices of the foundation is not coordinated measurably in terms of milestones. Purpose: This paper provides direction for the leadership management strategy of the foundation’s chairman in coordinating the management of educational units. Methods: Collection of data and information using observation, direct interviews, the Delpy method, documentation, and physical artifacts. Inductive, process, and goal-oriented Result: the head of the foundation carries out a transformative leadership management strategy coordinating with the management strategy, and coordinating with the educational unit.  The pattern of transformative leadership as a strategy for adapting a harmonious and productive democratic leadership model in mobilizing school principals and teachers to the demands of changes in the management information and technology-based education units, as well as student-oriented leadership strategy that emphasizes the quality of management of educational units under the foundation’s internal supervision, governance of quality-oriented foundations in educational units, developing the quality of teaching and educational staff resources, developing facilities and infrastructure, involving parent of students and benchmarking in educational unit at the same level.

Abstract

Functional literacy learning includes reading, writing, counting and communicating using Indonesian language that is transformed into the application of dance culture. The purpose of the research is to know the impact of functional literacy learning and its application to the culture of molihi dilaesare dance, motosau molihi dance, dance lense mentoka and kalapea lense dance. The Research Method uses evaluation studies aimed at knowing the impact of functional literacy learning and its transformation in culture. The results stated that functional literacy learning can increase the interest in reading, writing, counting and communicating using Indonesian language transformed into dance culture in Konawe Islands Regency.

Abstract

This research investigates community-based human resource management (HRM) in the context of Quality Early Childhood Education (ECE). The primary objective is to analyze the effectiveness of an HRM approach involving active community participation in enhancing the quality of Early Childhood Education services. This study examines community-based HRM in early childhood education through a literature review. The findings reveal that a community-based HRM approach can positively contribute to improving ECE quality. Active community involvement in decision-making processes, collaborative training, and ongoing mentorship for ECE teachers and educators create a more effective and inclusive learning environment. The implications of this research underscore the importance of community involvement in the development and strengthening of quality ECE. Additionally, the study guides policymakers and education practitioners to integrate community-based elements into ECE HRM strategies.

Abstract

Background. This study delves into the dichotomy between business motives and educational services in Kendari's requirements for early childhood education (ECE). The rapid growth of the education industry has led to numerous institutions offering ECE services, raising questions about the balance between profit-driven business motives and genuine educational needs. The research aims to understand dynamics by examining incentives behind establishing ECE institutions in Kendari and how they influence educational service quality and accessibility. Methods. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, including surveys, interviews, and document analysis, the study aims to identify drivers for entrepreneurs investing in the ECE sector and their alignment with educational goals. It would explore how these motives affect comprehensive early childhood education delivery and their connection to the broader educational landscape in Kendari. Results. Findings are expected to show the equilibrium between commercial interests and educational aspirations in the ECE sector, offering insights for policymakers, educators, and stakeholders. Conclusion. By delving into the interplay between business motives and educational services, this research establishes a foundation for comprehensively exploring the ECE landscape and its implications for young learners' future development.

Abstract

This research focuses on the use of 'Canva for Education' in enhancing digital literacy in the era of the Kurikulum Merdeka (Independent Curriculum). Facing challenges in access and utilization of technology in education, this study aims to analyze the extent to which Canva can enhance the engagement and digital literacy of students and teachers. The method employed is qualitative analysis, through in-depth examination of academic literature and relevant case studies. This research emphasizes the secondary data analysis from academic and practical sources to evaluate the effectiveness of Canva. The research findings indicate that the use of 'Canva for Education' has a significant impact on improving digital literacy. Key findings show that Canva spurs active student participation in the learning process and trains essential digital skills for both students and teachers. Case studies at SMA Negeri 1 Bandung and literature analysis confirm that Canva, as an interactive digital tool, assists in enriching teaching methods, making them more engaging and effective. The conclusion of this research highlights the importance of integrating creative technology in education, which not only enhances engagement and digital literacy but also supports the development of innovative and adaptive pedagogical approaches. This research contributes to the development of educational theories that emphasize the importance of technology-based learning in modern education.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of coaching methods in academic supervision on the improvement of teacher performance and educational quality in schools (Location: Al-Kautsar Kindergarten, Kartika XX-46 Kindergarten Kendari, Dian Ekawati Kindergarten, and Setara Kids Kindergarten). Through interviews, direct observations, and document analysis, the research reveals that coaching serves not only as a feedback tool but also fosters deep relationships and encourages effective two-way communication between school principals and teachers. Direct observation results indicate that teachers engaged in coaching show increased motivation, self-confidence, and tangible changes in teaching practices. Document analysis supports these findings by identifying measurable changes in teaching practices through the implementation of strategies acquired through coaching. These findings align with previous research literature that emphasizes the effectiveness of coaching in the professional development of teachers and the enhancement of learning quality. In conclusion, coaching methods in academic supervision are not just strategies but a holistic approach that brings positive and measurable impacts on teacher performance and the achievement of educational goals in schools.

Abstract

Literacy education is defined as the net generation's preparation for learning in both current and future interests, to communicate in a complex world. Therefore, learning is related to various factors, especially motivation and subject matter. Learners enter the Pathway (language deepening at various levels) at six levels starting from traditional language level, language development through exercises, language arts, advanced, up to high-level supported by education. The implementation of functional literacy programs for adults requires a new movement of reading to understand the window of the world and knowledge, individual, group, local, national and global development.
