Abstract

This study aims to determine the Islamic review of one of the psychological studies on posttraumatic growth (PTG) in adolescent women with dating violence experience. This is a literature study with a descriptive analytic approach. The result showed that Islam forbid their people for dating, these means Islam prevent their people to do dating. However, in Islam survivors who experience dating violence considered as a person who facing a test. Islam offer the concept called “Hijrah” in order to foster a positive thought for a survivors. Hijrah means shifting from something bad to a kindness, from naughtiness to truth, also from everything negative to more positive. In Indonesia with a Muslim majority population, dating violence is the second highest case of violence against women. Similar to other traumatic events, dating violence causes negative impacts to the survivors. On the other hand, previous research says that there might be positive changes experienced by trauma survivors, such as posttraumatic growth (PTG).

Abstract

Menopause is a natural physiological phase in women characterized by a decline in estrogen levels, which may affect the musculoskeletal system and increase susceptibility to low back pain (LBP). Low back pain is a common complaint among menopausal women and can interfere with daily activities and quality of life. Nevertheless, evidence regarding the relationship between menopausal status or age at menopause and the intensity of low back pain remains inconsistent, indicating the need for further investigation. This study employed an observational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. Data were collected from menopausal patients with low back pain at RSUD Cempaka Putih. Pain intensity was assessed using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate statistical analyses. The majority of respondents were menopausal women aged 45–55 years. Most patients experienced moderate pain intensity based on the NRS. Bivariate analysis showed no statistically significant relationship between menopausal status and NRS pain level. There was no significant relationship between menopause and the intensity of low back pain as measured by the Numeric Rating Scale. This finding suggests that low back pain in menopausal women is multifactorial and may be influenced by factors other than menopausal status alone. From an Islamic perspective, maintaining health through appropriate medical treatment and effort (ikhtiar) is part of preserving life (hifz an-nafs).

Abstract

This study aimed to describe and examine the relationship between Body Mass Index (BMI) and knee pain among adult patients at RSUD Cempaka Putih and to review this relationship from an Islamic perspective. This study employed a quantitative observational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 40 adult patients experiencing knee pain who met the inclusion criteria and were selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through anthropometric measurements to determine Body Mass Index (BMI) and assessment of knee pain intensity using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Data analysis included univariate analysis to describe the distribution of BMI and knee pain levels, as well as bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square test to assess the relationship between BMI and knee pain. The results showed that the majority of participants had a BMI above the normal range, with more than half of the participants classified as overweight, obese, or obese class II. Knee pain intensity was predominantly moderate to severe. The Chi-Square test indicated that there was no statistically significant relationship between Body Mass Index (BMI) and knee pain severity (p = 0.346). However, descriptively, a tendency toward a higher proportion of severe knee pain was observed among participants with higher BMI, particularly in the obesity and obesity class II categories. There was no statistically significant association between Body Mass Index (BMI) and knee pain among adult patients at RSUD Cempaka Putih.

Abstract

Project-Based Learning (PjBL) is increasingly recognized as a transformative approach in education, particularly for developing student creativity. Rather than focusing solely on conventional classroom routines, PjBL immerses learners in authentic, inquiry-driven, and collaborative projects that reflect real-world challenges. As digital technologies become increasingly central to daily life, educational models must innovate to meet the complex demands of the 21st century. This study set out to design and implement a technology-enhanced PjBL model for Grade VIII Craft (Prakarya) students at SMP Tahta Syajar, Bekasi, Indonesia. A quasi-experimental design was used, with 43 students divided into experimental and control groups. The intervention included digital brainstorming, visualization software, and collaborative platforms, all intended to scaffold the phases of project work. Student creativity was assessed using a validated, Torrance-based rubric measuring fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. Results showed a significant improvement in all creativity domains for the experimental group (*p* < 0.05), with moderate to large effect sizes observed. Moreover, students reported greater enthusiasm, engagement, and creative confidence when digital technology was a core part of their learning.Overall, this study confirms that digital PjBL not only has a measurable positive impact on student creativity but also supports educational goals outlined by international frameworks such as OECD Education 2030 and UNESCO’s Futures of Education. The findings provide a foundation for future research in technology-supported creative learning.
