Abstract

In the era of educational digital transformation, enhancing teachers' digital competence has become a critical challenge. This study investigates the effectiveness of Google Workspace for Education training in improving the digital competence of teachers at SMA Negeri 11 Padang, a school preparing to become a Google Reference School. A quantitative descriptive method was employed, involving 40 teachers as respondents through a structured questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality and linearity tests, and Pearson correlation. The results reveal a strong positive correlation (r = 0.891, p < 0.001) between the training and teachers’ digital competence, indicating that the training significantly improves their ability to utilize digital tools for teaching, collaboration, and classroom management. Furthermore, the training content, methods, and teacher engagement were found to play critical roles in shaping effective outcomes. These findings support the notion that structured and pedagogically aligned training is essential for equipping educators with relevant digital skills. It is concluded that Google Workspace training serves as an effective strategic intervention for advancing digital teaching competence in secondary education

Abstract

This systematic literature review examines the integration of policy and technology in vocational educational leadership, focusing on studies published between 2022 and 2024. The review addresses four key research questions: (1) technological tools and advancements supporting leadership in vocational education, (2) the influence of policies and frameworks on leadership strategies, (3) challenges associated with integrating policy and technology, and (4) the socio-economic and educational impacts of this integration. The findings reveal that technological tools such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), digital collaboration platforms, and advanced technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Virtual Reality (VR) are instrumental in enhancing leadership and educational outcomes. Policies promoting digital transformation, industry alignment, and inclusivity significantly shape leadership strategies. However, challenges like infrastructure limitations and policy-implementation gaps persist. Effective integration of policy and technology in vocational education leads to improved learning environments, better skill acquisition, and enhanced socio-economic outcomes, though ensuring equitable access remains a critical concern. This study provides a comprehensive understanding of how policy and technology intersect to shape vocational education leadership in contemporary settings.Keywords: Vocational Leadership, Policy Integration, Educational Technology, Digital Transformation

Abstract

Keberadaan mata kuliah praktik kerja kayu pada Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan (PTB) di Departemen Teknik Sipil Universitas Negeri Padang merupakan suatu hal yang masih strategis untuk dikembangkan. Ditengah perkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat saat ini tidak serta merta membuat kompetensi praktik kerja kayu hilang dan terbelakang, akan tetapi masih tetap eksis bahkan menjadi suatu hal yang mahal. Akibat perkembangan teknologi, tuntutan kemampuan manusia modern juga berubah salah satunya kemampuan kewirausahaan. Ditinjau dari visi PTB sebenarnya juga sudah menuliskan adanya kewirausahaan, akan tetapi implementasinya masih belum maksimal. Selain itu, berdasarkan obeservasi awal ditemukan bahwa aktivitas pembelajaran praktik kerja kayu yang merupakan salah satu mata kuliah berpotensi untuk peningkatan kemampuan kewirausahaan mahasiswa belum dilaksanakan dengan maksimal. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis pembelajaran mata kuliah praktik kerja kayu PTB pada aspek kewirausahaan. Penelitian campuran ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan qualitativ dan quantitativ melalui respon dosen dan mahasiswa. Terdapat enam indikator yang dinilai yaitu terkait aktivitas membuka kelas, bahan ajar, media pembelajaran, proses aktivitas pembelajaran, bentuk tugas, dan penggunaan model pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran mata kuliah praktik kerja kayu belum mengarahkan mahasiswa menjadi lulusan yang memiliki kemampuan kewirausahaan secara maksimal, sesuai dengan salah satu visi PTB. Oleh sebab itu, dibutuhkan perbaikan, pengembangan, dan peningkatan aktivitas pembelajaran, khususnya melalui enam indikator utama agar pelaksanaan pembelajaran berorientasi kepada kewirausahaan.

Abstract

Manajemen sarana dan prasarana sekolah memiliki peranan penting dalam mendukung kualitas pembelajaran dan menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis berbagai aspek manajemen sarana dan prasarana yang dapat mendukung proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Dengan pendekatan studi literatur, penelitian ini mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai artikel ilmiah, buku, laporan, serta dokumen terkait yang relevan dengan topik ini. Sumber-sumber yang digunakan berasal dari database ilmiah terpercaya, seperti Google Scholar dan JSTOR, untuk memastikan kualitas dan relevansi data yang diperoleh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen sarana dan prasarana yang baik dapat meningkatkan efektivitas proses pembelajaran, menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif bagi siswa dan guru, serta berkontribusi pada peningkatan hasil pendidikan. Kendala utama yang ditemukan adalah kurangnya pemeliharaan fasilitas, keterbatasan dana, dan distribusi sarana yang tidak merata. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi bahwa penerapan teknologi dan inovasi dalam manajemen sarana dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap kualitas pembelajaran. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya pengelolaan fasilitas yang lebih baik dengan melibatkan pemangku kepentingan yang relevan dan memanfaatkan teknologi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Kebijakan dan strategi manajemen yang tepat dapat menjadi faktor kunci dalam pencapaian tujuan pendidikan yang lebih berkualitas dan merata di seluruh sekolah

Abstract

Keterlibatan Dunia Usaha dan Dunia Industri (DU/DI) sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan vokasi di SMK. Penelitian ini menganalisis peran DU/DI dalam pengelolaan mutu pendidikan di SMK Negeri 1 Bengkalis dan hambatan yang dihadapi dalam kemitraan ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa DU/DI berperan dalam penyediaan Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) dan pelatihan keterampilan, namun partisipasi mereka dalam perencanaan kurikulum dan evaluasi pembelajaran masih minim. Hambatan utama yang ditemukan adalah kurangnya kemitraan formal, rendahnya komitmen kedua belah pihak, dan perbedaan visi antara sekolah dan industri. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pembentukan tim kualitas bersama, penyusunan perjanjian kerja sama formal, serta peningkatan evaluasi program PKL. Dukungan kebijakan pemerintah juga diperlukan untuk memperkuat kolaborasi ini. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memperbaiki keterlibatan DU/DI dalam pendidikan vokasi, sehingga lulusan SMK lebih siap menghadapi tuntutan dunia kerja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh manajemen kesiswaan terhadap pembentukan budaya disiplin di kalangan siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK), dengan fokus pada kebijakan yang efektif, pendekatan pembelajaran inovatif, dan integrasi teknologi. Kajian ini menggunakan metode tinjauan literatur yang sistematis, mencakup analisis kritis terhadap 25 artikel ilmiah dan laporan penelitian relevan yang diterbitkan dalam 10 tahun terakhir. Analisis dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi elemen kunci dalam pengelolaan kesiswaan, seperti kebijakan pengawasan, keterlibatan pihak terkait, dan penerapan teknologi digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan manajemen kesiswaan yang terstruktur dan berbasis bukti mampu meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa secara signifikan. Pendekatan berbasis teknologi, seperti aplikasi pengelolaan siswa dan media pembelajaran digital, terbukti meningkatkan kepatuhan siswa terhadap aturan sekolah hingga 35% dibandingkan metode konvensional. Selain itu, pembelajaran berbasis proyek (project-based learning) memberikan kontribusi pada penguatan budaya disiplin melalui pengembangan tanggung jawab individu dan kelompok. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan baru dengan menyoroti integrasi teknologi sebagai inovasi dalam manajemen kesiswaan, yang dapat diadopsi oleh sekolah untuk menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang lebih disiplin dan adaptif. Studi ini merekomendasikan pengembangan kebijakan berbasis data, peningkatan kapasitas tenaga pendidik dalam memanfaatkan teknologi, serta evaluasi rutin terhadap efektivitas program kesiswaan.

Abstract

An organization must have more value in terms of human resources in order to compete with other organizations. The organization in implementing the work program that has been prepared basically always aims to achieve organizational goals. One way is to improve employee performance. Performance is the result or level of success of a person as a whole during a certain period in carrying out tasks. This study was conducted to determine the effect of leadership style on performance with psychological capital as moderating on employees of the Faculty of Sport Sciences, Padang State University. Independent variables in this study include leadership style, while employee performance is used as the dependent variable and psychological capital as a moderating variable. The sampling technique was carried out by saturated sampling which made the entire population as a sample obtained as many as 66 employees at the Faculty of Sports Science, Padang State University. By using an instrument in the form of a questionnaire which is analyzed using SEM-PLS analysis, where the results obtained are leadership style has a significant and positive effect on employee performance. Psychological capital can moderate leadership style on employee performance. It is recommended that the leadership of the Faculty of Sports Science, Padang State University needs to provide development training, update the knowledge of employees, because in filling out the questionnaire the respondents are still low in skillful value compared to the standard procedures that exist in work.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to compare career management strategies and levels of self-development among automotive engineering students at FT UNP who enrolled in 2019, particularly at the fourth stage of their studies. The research sample comprises 60 students, with 20 students from each admission path: SNMPTN, SBMPTN, and Independent Selection. The analysis employs ANOVA to address two research hypotheses regarding the differences in career management strategies and levels of self-development among the three admission paths. The results of the study significantly support the first hypothesis, indicating a meaningful difference in career management strategies among students admitted through SNMPTN, SBMPTN, and Independent Selection. Similarly, the second hypothesis is also confirmed, demonstrating a significant difference in the level of self-development among students from the three admission paths. This research provides valuable insights into how automotive engineering students navigate their careers and self-development through various admission paths. The practical implications of the study can offer guidance to academic institutions and stakeholders to enhance the effectiveness of career management and student self-development, taking into account the diverse characteristics and needs of students from different admission paths.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop interactive learning media on computer and basic networks subject that are valid, practical and effective. This reasearch is used the Four-D design model that is applied to develop and test the validity, practicality and effectiveness of interactive learning media in computer and basic networkinglearning. The research is used the Four-D model include defining, designing, developing, and distributing. The results of the validity test on interactive learning media are valid. Based on teachers and students responses about instructional media shows the results of interactive learning media are very practical and learning outcomes from students indicate the learning media has been effectively used for computer and basic networkinglearning. The analysis resultshows that interactive learning media is better in improving student learning processes.

Abstract

The sales strategy determines the continuity of the business being run. The problems that occur are the sales archive data has not been analyzed in-depth, the information system has not been integrated with applications for sales data analysis, online media promotion has not been maximized, inadequate stock of goods, the layout of goods is not optimal, and the combination of the number of products is not optimal. This study aims to extract hidden information in the sales database using Data Mining. From the information generated, sales strategy recommendations are developed relating to promotions, inventory, catalogue design, item layout, and the combination of product quantities. The method used is the association rule with Apriori algorithm to find consumer purchase patterns through the resulting association. The importance of association can be identified by two benchmarks, namely support and confidence. The sales strategy analyzed includes product promotion, catalogue design, product layout, stock predictions, and product combinations for sale. Based on the research produced 7 strong rules which are the highest association rules which are then developed into a sales strategy recommendation.
