Abstract

The sales strategy determines the continuity of the business being run. The problems that occur are the sales archive data has not been analyzed in-depth, the information system has not been integrated with applications for sales data analysis, online media promotion has not been maximized, inadequate stock of goods, the layout of goods is not optimal, and the combination of the number of products is not optimal. This study aims to extract hidden information in the sales database using Data Mining. From the information generated, sales strategy recommendations are developed relating to promotions, inventory, catalogue design, item layout, and the combination of product quantities. The method used is the association rule with Apriori algorithm to find consumer purchase patterns through the resulting association. The importance of association can be identified by two benchmarks, namely support and confidence. The sales strategy analyzed includes product promotion, catalogue design, product layout, stock predictions, and product combinations for sale. Based on the research produced 7 strong rules which are the highest association rules which are then developed into a sales strategy recommendation.

Abstract

This need analysis research consists of observations and literature studies. This research aims to 1) describe student learning outcomes in the learning process. 2) find the problems faced by students in Computer and Basic Network subject. 3) find Evaluation media solutions needed in conducting the assessment. This research was a descriptive quantitative research. The subjects of this research were 31 students of Grade X TKJ in Vocational High School 2 Lubuk Basung. The data were obtained from questionnaires and analysis through the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) to get conclusions. The results of the research showed that: 1) there were still many students who had not yet reached the Minimum Learning Standard. 2) the learning media used did not make it easy for students to understand the material. 3) the evaluation media used took a long time to get results.

Abstract

Currently, the management of employee attendance in the City Government is still done manually, where the leadership does not have any media that can be used to monitor attendance, causing problems including recapitulation and slow employee attendance reporting. The calculation of the percentage (%) of the employee performance allowance (Tukin) is not carried out proportionally according to the attendance discipline. The impact of the current system is undisciplined employee attendance. Attendance management system which aims to manage employee attendance data. Attendance data obtained every morning and evening is stored on a server at the Pekanbaru City Information and Communication Office. This data is then processed to determine the whereabouts of an employee and become a reference for determining the percentage (%) of the performance allowance that will be received. In addition, this attendance management can be used by Regional Leaders and Heads of Services / Institutions to monitor employee attendance quickly and quickly. The research method used for data collection is to use interviews and literature. While the method in software development uses the method of The Rapid Application Development (RAD). Attendance Management is built on the basis of the Laravel framework using the MVC (Model View Controller) method. The MVC programming pattern that separates logic and views makes program code cleaner, easier to trace when troubleshooting or debugging. The Blade feature of laravel makes using html / php templates simple. This application provides online information about employee attendance. Regional Leaders, Heads of Services / Institutions can monitor the condition of employee absenteeism in Pekanbaru City Government online every day. Employee attendance reports for each Department / OPD are generated automatically. The Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency can use it as a monthly attendance summary report.

Abstract

Educators have developed a model to facilitate the learning of various competencies and the assessment of student understanding. The methods applied include lectures, assignments to be completed at home, and written exams. Meanwhile, to develop non-technical competencies such as leadership skills, a more comprehensive approach is required. This article outlines the findings of a controlled study that implemented Problem-Based Learning (PBL) to teach these skills. The effectiveness of this method was measured using the Competing Value Framework (CVF) developed by Quinn in 2004. The research results indicate a significant statistical improvement in students' ability to set goals and identify and organize activities to achieve these goals. The included literature review also emphasizes the suitability of PBL in teaching both technical and non-technical competencies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh manajemen kesiswaan terhadap pembentukan budaya disiplin di kalangan siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK), dengan fokus pada kebijakan yang efektif, pendekatan pembelajaran inovatif, dan integrasi teknologi. Kajian ini menggunakan metode tinjauan literatur yang sistematis, mencakup analisis kritis terhadap 25 artikel ilmiah dan laporan penelitian relevan yang diterbitkan dalam 10 tahun terakhir. Analisis dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi elemen kunci dalam pengelolaan kesiswaan, seperti kebijakan pengawasan, keterlibatan pihak terkait, dan penerapan teknologi digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan manajemen kesiswaan yang terstruktur dan berbasis bukti mampu meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa secara signifikan. Pendekatan berbasis teknologi, seperti aplikasi pengelolaan siswa dan media pembelajaran digital, terbukti meningkatkan kepatuhan siswa terhadap aturan sekolah hingga 35% dibandingkan metode konvensional. Selain itu, pembelajaran berbasis proyek (project-based learning) memberikan kontribusi pada penguatan budaya disiplin melalui pengembangan tanggung jawab individu dan kelompok. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan baru dengan menyoroti integrasi teknologi sebagai inovasi dalam manajemen kesiswaan, yang dapat diadopsi oleh sekolah untuk menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang lebih disiplin dan adaptif. Studi ini merekomendasikan pengembangan kebijakan berbasis data, peningkatan kapasitas tenaga pendidik dalam memanfaatkan teknologi, serta evaluasi rutin terhadap efektivitas program kesiswaan.

Abstract

Keterlibatan Dunia Usaha dan Dunia Industri (DU/DI) sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan vokasi di SMK. Penelitian ini menganalisis peran DU/DI dalam pengelolaan mutu pendidikan di SMK Negeri 1 Bengkalis dan hambatan yang dihadapi dalam kemitraan ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa DU/DI berperan dalam penyediaan Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) dan pelatihan keterampilan, namun partisipasi mereka dalam perencanaan kurikulum dan evaluasi pembelajaran masih minim. Hambatan utama yang ditemukan adalah kurangnya kemitraan formal, rendahnya komitmen kedua belah pihak, dan perbedaan visi antara sekolah dan industri. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pembentukan tim kualitas bersama, penyusunan perjanjian kerja sama formal, serta peningkatan evaluasi program PKL. Dukungan kebijakan pemerintah juga diperlukan untuk memperkuat kolaborasi ini. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memperbaiki keterlibatan DU/DI dalam pendidikan vokasi, sehingga lulusan SMK lebih siap menghadapi tuntutan dunia kerja.

Abstract

Teknologi yang berkembang pesat memberikan peluang besar dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya dalam pembelajaran berbasis praktik. Salah satu teknologi yang berpotensi besar adalah drone dan Global Navigation Satellite System Real-Time Kinematic (GNSS RTK), yang signifikan dalam survei, pemetaan, dan analisis spasial. Penguasaan teknologi ini menjadi kompetensi penting bagi guru di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK), namun tantangan utama yang dihadapi adalah rendahnya pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi tersebut. Berdasarkan data, kurang dari 30% guru SMK di Indonesia memiliki akses dan pelatihan yang cukup untuk teknologi baru. Pelatihan berbasis praktik menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru, memungkinkan mereka untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam pembelajaran yang lebih relevan dan aplikatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pelatihan penggunaan drone dan GNSS RTK dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru di SMK 1 Bukittinggi, baik dari segi pemahaman teoritis maupun keterampilan teknis. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat bagi guru dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan bagi institusi pendidikan dalam mengembangkan strategi pengembangan kompetensi guru berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

Era digital telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk pola kepemimpinan di lembaga pendidikan. Transformasi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah di era digital tidak hanya menuntut kemampuan adaptasi terhadap teknologi, tetapi juga perubahan paradigma dalam pengelolaan sumber daya manusia, pengambilan keputusan, dan komunikasi di lingkungan sekolah. Artikel ini membahas bagaimana kepala sekolah dapat mengintegrasikan teknologi digital ke dalam strategi pendidikan, mengembangkan kompetensi kepemimpinan digital, dan membangun budaya sekolah yang tanggap terhadap perubahan. Dengan mengadopsi pendekatan transformasional, kepala sekolah dapat menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang kolaboratif dan inovatif untuk menghadapi tantangan era digital.

Abstract

Dual-system education menggabungkan pembelajaran di sekolah dengan pelatihan kerja di industri untuk menciptakan lulusan siap kerja. SMK Swasta Pembda Nias menghadapi tantangan implementasi sistem ini, termasuk koordinasi yang lemah dengan mitra industri dan keterbatasan fasilitas. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi peran kepemimpinan kolaboratif dalam mengatasi hambatan tersebut. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen yang melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, dan mitra industri. Analisis tematik digunakan untuk memahami pola kepemimpinan yang efektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kolaboratif mampu memperkuat hubungan dengan dunia industri, meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran berbasis kerja, dan mendorong keterlibatan siswa. Strategi utama mencakup komunikasi intensif, pengelolaan sumber daya bersama, dan pemberdayaan guru sebagai fasilitator. Kesimpulannya, kepemimpinan kolaboratif efektif mendukung dual-system education di SMK Swasta Pembda Nias. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pelatihan kepemimpinan kolaboratif dan peningkatan dukungan kebijakan untuk memperluas keberhasilan model ini.

Abstract

Learning media is an instrument that greatly determines the success of the teaching and learning process. Because its existence can directly provide its own dynamics to students. After the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak had an effect on the world of education, changes to the learning system were directed to an online home study policy. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Adobe Flash CS6 media in online learning towards competency achievement in the Pattiserie course. This research method uses a quantitative method by comparing student learning outcomes online during the pandemic with before the pandemic in the Pattiserie course at the IKK FPP UNP department. Based on data obtained from the 2017 and 2019 batch of Pattiserie semester scores, the average grade for the experimental class was 73.01 and the average grade for the control class was 88.53. From the results above, it can be concluded that a valid and practical media has not been able to replace the effectiveness of Pattiserie learning, in other words, this Pattiserie course is more competent if it is carried out practically in a laboratory because the hierarchy of practical courses must be carried out in a laboratory/workshop.
