Abstract

Abstract This research was conducted by writer to know the strategy of promotion conducted by islamic elementary school Al Azhar 21 Pontianak. The students especially through promotional programs that run by the library at islamic elementary school Al Azhar 21 Pontianak. In this research, the researcher used descriptive method with Qualitative Research Form. Qualitative method was a research that focuses on observation of events, complexly studied phenomena, unrecognizable social character. Techniques of collecting data used ware observation, documentation, direct interviews at the library of Islamic Elementary School Al Azhar 21 Pontianak. From the results of this study, it can be seen that promotional strategies can increase the interest in reading in the library of Islamic Elementary School Al Azhar 21 Pontianak. There were several ways used in promoting the library, one of them through the contests, the announcement of new books and the flagship program was mini libraries that were available in every classroom and also one of the new program in planed was a reading corner. Increasing interest in reading in the library was very important considering this school is a favorite school in the pontianak city. According to the librarian of the school, the strategy that has been implemented was quite effective, but of course must continue to be increased so that all parties in the school environment really support every promotion strategy that the library do. Abstract

Tingginya aksi plagiarisme di kalangan akademisi terutama mahasiswa masih marak dilakukan. Celah dan peluang untuk melakukan kecurangan guna menghasilkan sebuah karya ilmiah terus dilakukan dengan berbagai alasan yang mendesak. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan salah satunya memberikan edukasi kepada para mahasiswa melalui pelatihan manajemen referensi menggunakan aplikasi zotero. Tujuannya untuk menganalisis kecenderungan tindakan plagiarisme yang menyebabkan mereka mengabaikan kaidah dan etika serta melatih mereka untuk tertib saat melakukan penulisan sebuah karya ilmiah. Metode yang digunakan berupa sosialisasi dan pelatihan oleh tim pelaksana pengabdian sesuai dengan keahlian bidangnya. Kegiatan dilakukan secara daring selama 3 hari berturut-turut. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa semua peserta pelatihan mengetahui adanya aplikasi manajemen referensi seperti zotero untuk mempermudah penulisan karya ilmiah namun mengabaikannya karena ketidakpahaman dalam penggunaan, informasi yang diperoleh berasal dari sumber bebas, kurangnya keterampilan literasi informasi, serta keterbatasan waktu untuk menyelesaikan menjadi permasalahan utama tindakan plagiarisme dilakukan di kalangan mahasiswa. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan, sebanyak 63,3% peserta merasa kemampuan kognitif dan afektifnya bertambah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasari oleh rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam menulis. Dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi, siswa masih kurang mampu dalam menuangkan ide atau gagasan ke dalam bentuk puisi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan hasil belajar menulis puisi menggunakan model cooperative script. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penlitian kualitatif yaitu model Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan subjek guru mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia dan siswa kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Sebangki Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023 yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi, dokumenter, dan pengetesan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai perencanaan pembelajaran yang diperoleh guru pada siklus I yaitu 67,37 dengan persentase 67,37%, pada siklus II, yaitu 72,10 dengan persentase 72,10%, dan pada siklus III, yaitu 80 dengan persentase 80%. Pada siklus I nilai pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang diperoleh guru yaitu 63 dengan persentase 63%, pada siklus II, yaitu 73,5 dengan persentase 73,5%, dan pada siklus III, yaitu 80,5 dengan persentase 80,5%. Hasil belajar siswa dalam menulis puisi pada siklus I adalah 69,17, siklus II adalah 69,58, dan pada siklus III adalah 79,17. Jadi pembelajaran menulis puisi menggunakan model cooperative script dari prasiklus, siklus I, siklus II, dan siklus III mengalami peningkatan.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the implementation of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in Indonesian language textbooks for high school students, based on the 2013 Curriculum. The importance of developing higher-order thinking skills to face the challenges of 21st-century education, which emphasizes students' abilities in analysis, evaluation, and creation. A descriptive qualitative method was used to analyze the content of two Indonesian language textbooks from the 2014 revised edition. The results of this study show that most questions in the textbooks require students to think at the analysis level (C4), with 50% of the total 78 HOTS questions, or 39 questions, testing students' analytical skills. Evaluation-level questions (C5) account for 41.03% or 32 questions, while creation-level questions (C6) only reach 8.97% or 7 questions from the total. Although the textbooks have integrated HOTS elements, the distribution of questions is still unbalanced, thus revisions are needed in question design to better foster students' skills.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penerapan Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) dalam buku teks Bahasa Indonesia untuk siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) yang berbasis Kurikulum 2013. Pentingnya pengembangan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi dalam menghadapi tantangan pendidikan abad ke-21 yang menekankan pada kemampuan analisis, evaluasi, dan kreasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk menganalisis isi dari dua buku teks Bahasa Indonesia edisi revisi 2014. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar soal dalam buku teks menuntut siswa untuk berpikir pada buku teks bahasa Indonesia Kurikulum 2013 lebih menekankan aspek analisis (C4) dengan persentase 50% dari total 78 soal HOTS, dengan 39 soal yang menguji kemampuan analisis siswa. Soal evaluasi (C5) terdapat 41,03% atau sebanyak 32 soal, sementara soal pada level kreasi (C6) hanya mencapai 8,97% atau 7 soal dari keseluruhan soal yang ada. Meskipun buku teks telah mengintegrasikan elemen HOTS, distribusi soal masih belum seimbang, sehingga diperlukan perbaikan dalam penyusunan soal agar mendorong keterampilan siswa.

Abstract

In improving reading interest and creativity strategies in children, it is necessary to attract their attention. Nowadays, children prefer to learn while playing so that they are not only focused on the material but also on the fun. This study aims to determine the role of Jejak Literasi (JeLi) Bahagia Mendawai Public Library in fostering children's creativity and its supporting factors. Researchers used descriptive qualitative methods and data collection was carried out using non-participant observation techniques, interviews with 10 informants and documentary studies to strengthen the findings. Data analysis was carried out by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that Jejak Literasi (JeLi) activities as a forum for children to increase their interest in reading and have an impact on changes for them to learn while playing, especially children outside Kampung Caping Pontianak for free. Supporting factors for Jejak Literasi (JeLi) play an important role such as reading carts, collaboration communities, library board members and mobile library cars and other facilities. The learning gained from JeLi also helps them at school such as counting, reading, listening, coloring and writing.

Abstract

Abstract Research on code switching and code mixing in the Batas film by Rudi Soedjarwo is a study in the field of sociolinguistics focused on code switching and code mixing. The formulation of the problem in this research is how the form and the factors causing code switching and code mixing in the Batas film by Rudi Soedjarwo, and the implications of learning in school. This study aims to describe: (1) the form of code switching and code mixing, (2) the factors of code switching and code mixing, (3) the implications of learning in school. The method used in this research is descriptive method and the form of this research is qualitative research. The data source in this study is the Batas film by Rudi Soedjarwo. The data in this study are dialogue quotations that have code switching and code mixing. Data collection techniques in this study are documentary study techniques. The main data collection tool and used is a data card. Based on the results of data analysis, the form of code switching and code mixing contained in the Batas film by Rudi Soedjarwo is internal and external code switching. Meanwhile, the mixed code forms contained in the Batas film by Rudi Soedjarwo are words, phrases and clauses. Keywords: Code Switching, Code Mixing, Form and Factor Code Switching.

Abstract

AbstractThis study view on lexicon of rice in the Dayak Jalai Society in Ketapang Regency. Rice is everything related to rice farming activities in the community. The problem in this study was regarding the grouping of the lexicon of rice, semantic relations, and the level of understanding of the noun, verb and adjective lexicon. The method used was descriptive with a form of qualitative research. The data source was the informant and the data was in the form of a lexicon regarding the rice in the Dayak Jalai community. The technique used was an interview while the data collection tool was in the form of a recording device and a camera from a cell phone, pens and notebooks. Based on the results of the analysis found that 100 data lexicon of rice that which is divided into 16 claisifications parts of rice plants, animals disturbing, plants disturbing, rice farming process, traditional supplementary materials, tools for customary ritual activities, time for carrying out farming and traditional rituals  data, characters in traditional rituals, objects related to rice, tools for cleaning land, soil type,  rice type, rice planting tool, harvesting tool, paddy grooves become rice, and tools make paddy into rice. Key words: Dayak Jalai Ketapang, Lexicon, Rice

Abstract

AbstractThis research discusses about Disign Spatial Management library of Junior high School  8 Pontianak. The purpose of this research is to know how about spatial  management and efforts are made to improve the spatial management at  library of Junior high School 8 Pontianak. The method used is qualitative that is demonstrated to describe and analyse phenomena, events based on the data obtained. Data collection is done by observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that spatial management library of SMP 8 Pontianak for now still needs to be considered in the arrangement of the room, the condition of the library is less effective because many books are still located on the floor due to lack of Cabinets or bookshelves to store the library material and also the library becomes a place of the appearance of art, sports and laboratory equipment. So, the library looks narrow and makes students feel uncomfortable during their visit. As for the efforts that can be done for spatial management library of  Junior High School  8 Pontianak is by looking from Google or other schools that can be used as a reference  to organize the room for better.         Keywords: Libraries, Management, Spatial, School

Abstract

This study aims to determine the speech implicatures of the characters in the novel (Kami) Bukan Sarjana Kertas by J.S. Khairen and implementation design in school learning. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with a qualitative form. J.S. Khairen's data analysis in the novel (Kami) Bukan Sarjana Kertas is the form of the character’s speeches that indicate the implicature’s type, form, and function. The analysis results found (1) types of implicatures, namely conventional implicatures and non-conventional implicatures. There are three types of non-conventional implicatures, general conversational implicatures, scaled conversational implicatures, and special conversational implicatures. (2) The form of implicature consists of six types; the form of implicature prohibits, the form of implicature declines, the form of implicature commands, the form of implicature asks, the form of implicature asserts, and the form of implicature complains. (3) Conventional implicature functions and unconventional implicature functions. Conventional implicature functions, namely representative implicature functions and expressive implicature functions. Non-conventional implicature functions include representative implicature functions, directive implicature functions, expressive implicature functions, commissive implicature functions, and intrinsic implicature functions. (4) The results of research from the novel (Kami) Bukan Sarjana Kertas J.S. Khairen has the opportunity to be implemented in learning literature in Senior High Scholl class XI in the odd terms at KD 3.9 and 4.9.

Abstract

AbstractThis study discusses the role of school libraries in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the role of the Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak school library in supporting the learning process in schools both in the provision of collections, as well as ways to overcome various obstacles in the school library that can hinder the learning process. The method used in this research in descriptive with a qualitative appproach that describes the events based on the data obtained. Data collection is done by guiding observation, interviews, and dokumention. The results of this study indicate that the role of the Pontianak Muhammadiyah 1 Library in supporting th learning process in terms of collections of package books is adequate but still needs to be improved, while recreational books such as fiction books are still very minimal so collection is needed. Then some library obstacles that hinder the learning process, one of them is human resources who lack understanding about library management. Keywords : Role, School Library, Learning Process
