Abstract

Media pembelajaran adalah perantara atau alat untuk membantu proses pembelajaran dan membantu memahami materi yang sulit dengan mudah. Gerbang logika merupakan materi yang dasar terdiri dari tiga komponen antara lain gerbang logika AND, OR dan NOT, dari tiga gerbang logika dasar tersebut kemudian dikembangkan menjadi gerbang logikan NAND, NOR, X-OR dan X-NOR. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran berupa alat praktikum gerbang logika dan mengetahui kelayakan media alat praktikum gerbang logika berdasarkan validasi media dan respon pengguna terhadap alat praktikum gerbang logika sebagai media pembelajaran Praktikum Elektronika Dasar II. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengembangan research and development (RD) menggunakan model dari Sugiyono, terdapat sepuluh tahapan dalam model ini, tetapi peneliti menggunkan tujuh tahapan meliputi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba awal, dan revisi produk. Penilaian kelayakan media dilakukan melalui pengumpulan data berupa angket validasi media dan respon pengguna. Hasil uji kelayakan pada validasi ahli media menunjukkan presentase rata-rata 96,07% dengan kriteria sangat layak, validasi ahli materi menunjukkan presentase rata-rata 87,09% dengan kriteria sangat layak dan pada uji coba pengguna memberikan respon sangat baik dengan presentase rata-rata 85,6%. Kata kunci: Alat Praktikum, Gerbang Logika, Media Pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of STEMQ-based e-modules in improving students' science literacy at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Ihsan Kalijaring, Jombang. The method used is a pre-experiment with a pretest-posttest design on a single group, involving eleventh-grade students as the sample. Data was collected through a science literacy test that measured students' understanding of optical material before and after using the STEMQ-based e-module. The results showed that the use of the STEMQ-based e-module can improve students' science literacy, particularly in understanding scientific concepts related to optical material. Additionally, the integration of Qur'anic values into the e-module had a positive impact on strengthening students' religious character, supporting holistic learning. The study also found that while most students showed improvement, there was variation in the results, indicating the need for more attention to students with lower science literacy abilities. Overall, the STEMQ-based e-module was proven effective in improving science literacy in the pesantren environment and can serve as a relevant learning medium for 21st-century educational needs. This study contributes to the development of STEM-based learning that integrates religious values in pesantren education.

Abstract

Misconceptions in physics education are a significant challenge, hindering students' understanding and ability to solve scientific problems.  Addressing these misconceptions is essential for enhancing learning outcomes and improving instructional methods. This study seeks to provide a comprehensive analysis of how diagnostic tests have been developed and applied to identify misconceptions in the context of physics education in Indonesia. A Systematic Literature Review methodology was used to analyze 186 scientific articles published between 2015 and 2025, indexed in Google Scholar. The research followed the PRISMA framework to ensure a transparent, replicable process. The findings indicate that diagnostic tests in Indonesia have evolved from simpler two-tier formats to more complex six-tier systems. Among these, the four-tier diagnostic test was the most commonly utilized, proving effective in identifying misconceptions by capturing students' answers, the reasoning behind those answers, and their confidence levels. The review also identified specific topics where misconceptions were most prevalent, including Particle Dynamics, Heat and Temperature, and Vibrations and Waves. These areas showed consistent patterns of misunderstanding across multiple studies. This study underscores the need for continued advancements in diagnostic tools to improve their reliability and validity. It also highlights the importance of exploring less-studied physics topics and expanding the use of multi-tier diagnostic tests. Such efforts are crucial for refining instructional strategies and improving students' conceptual learning in Indonesian physics education. The findings contribute to the field of physics education by offering actionable insights for educators and researchers in designing targeted interventions and advancing conceptual learning.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the level of digital literacy among students in Islamic Senior High School (MA) in Tembelang District, Jombang Regency, using the UNESCO Digital Literacy Global Framework (DLGF). The method employed is quantitative research with a cross-sectional survey design. The research sample consists of 40 students selected purposively. The analysis results indicate that overall, the students' digital literacy competencies fall into the good category, with an average of 69.75%. However, there is variation in competencies across the seven DLGF competency frameworks, with some aspects, such as the ability to assess information credibility and collaboration, requiring further attention. Recommended interventions include practical training and workshops to enhance students' digital competencies. This research is expected to provide a foundation for developing more effective interventions to improve digital literacy among Islamic Senior High School students.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat baca dan membentuk budaya literasi siswa melalui rekondisi perpustakaan di SDN Catak Gayam 1, Jombang. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal, perpustakaan sekolah dalam kondisi kurang terawat, buku-buku tidak tertata, serta kurangnya pustakawan menyebabkan rendahnya kunjungan siswa ke perpustakaan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Assets Based Community Development (ABCD) dengan melibatkan seluruh warga sekolah sebagai komunitas penggerak. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui pembersihan, pengorganisasian ulang buku berdasarkan kategori, pencatatan katalog buku, serta penataan ruang perpustakaan agar lebih nyaman dan menarik. Hasil dari kegiatan ini antara lain perpustakaan yang lebih bersih dan rapi, buku-buku tertata sesuai kategori, tersedia katalog buku, serta meningkatnya frekuensi kunjungan siswa. Selain itu, dilaksanakan pelatihan pustakawan kecil untuk mendukung pengelolaan perpustakaan secara berkelanjutan. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa perpustakaan yang tertata dan nyaman dapat menjadi sarana penting dalam meningkatkan budaya literasi siswa..

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant transformations in various aspects of life, including education. This study aims to develop and validate interactive learning media based on the Canva application for the topic of Dynamic Electricity. Physics learning in secondary schools is still hampered by the dominance of conventional methods and the use of static, non-interactive media, resulting in low student engagement and weak conceptual understanding, especially in dynamic electricity materials. The media is designed to visualize abstract concepts such as current, voltage, resistance, and Ohm's Law to make them easier for students to understand. This research is a research and development study referring to the development model proposed by Borg and Gall. Validation was carried out by material experts, media experts, and linguists. The validation results indicate that the media is considered very valid and feasible for use, with eligibility criteria including content, accuracy, design, and language use. Thus, this media has the potential to increase student motivation and understanding. However, this research is still limited to the validation stage; therefore, further classroom trials are needed to measure its effectiveness.

Abstract

Teachers should be able to stimulate students' science process skills or be able to stimulate students' creativity. This study aims to develop a practical work guideline for Basic Electronics I based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) designed to improve the science process skills of physics education students. This study uses a 4D development model, but is limited to the Develop stage, with a focus on a systematic planning process and the development of valid and practical teaching materials. The research data consists of expert validation and student responses regarding the practicality of the developed product. The instruments used were an expert validation sheet and a student response questionnaire, both using a Likert scale of 1–4. Data were analyzed quantitatively by calculating the average score and percentage, then broken down into levels of validity and practicality. The results showed that the practical guidelines were assessed as “very valid” by material experts (85%) and media experts (86%). Student responses to the practicality questionnaire also showed “very practical” with a score of 88.7% and a positive response of 81.3%. These findings indicate that the PBL-based Basic Electronics I practicum guidelines, which include Kirchhoff's Current Law, Ohm's Law, and voltage dividers, are valid and practical, making them suitable for use as alternative teaching materials to support practicum activities and optimize students' science process skills. Further researchers are advised to add learning outcome evaluation instruments to determine the direct impact of PBL-based practicum guidelines on students' conceptual mastery and critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The training program on making instant herbal drinks in Dukuhdimoro Village aims to address unpredictable weather conditions and enhance the economic status of PKK mothers. Conducted through the Service-Learning method, it involves PKK mothers as participants learning to produce herbal drinks that are more durable and have higher economic value. Evaluation is conducted through participant engagement, speaker qualifications, feedback, direct impacts, and resource availability. Results indicate an improvement in participants' knowledge and skills, along with positive economic and social impacts on Dukuhdimoro Village. The training provides innovation in local agricultural processing, elevating product value and serving as an economic booster. As a sustainable initiative, it fosters creativity and innovation among PKK mothers and equips them with skills for the future. Thus, the program not only enhances economic prosperity but also strengthens the local community's ability to utilize natural resources sustainably.

Abstract

Dukuhdimoro Village, Mojoagung, Jombang, is the location of community service activities focusing on the socialization of digital security in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Through the Service Learning approach, this program aims to raise awareness among the community about cybercrime threats and how to protect themselves in the use of information technology. Involving various stakeholders such as students, youth from religious organizations, and village residents, the program provides information about digital crime risks and preventive measures that can be taken. Program evaluation indicates a significant increase in participants' understanding of digital crime and high learning interest among the community. Through the publication of the "Cyber Crime" book, the program also aims to empower the community with the knowledge and skills needed to address challenges in the digital age. Its impact extends to various aspects, including economic, social, and other sectors, by increasing awareness, data protection, and utilizing digital technology for community advancement. Awareness and proactive action to ensure digital security are key to supporting sustainable development in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution
