Abstract

Etnobotani merupakan ilmu botani mengenai pemanfaatan tumbuhan untuk keperluan sehari-hari serta adat istiadat suku bangsa. Salah satu tumbuhan yang dimanfaatkan adalah kambat. Kambat adalah salah satu tumbuhan yang terdapat pada Suku Dayak Bakumpai di kawasan Desa Lepasan yang berpotensi dijadikan sebagai sumber belajar berbasis muatan lokal. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini ialah (1) mendeskripsikan etnobotani Kambat (2) mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan buku ilmiah populer tentang Kambat (3) mendeskripsikan kelayakan buku imiah populer tentang etnobotani Kambat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Pengembangan model Plomp (Plomp & Nieveen, 2013) dengan tahapan yang terdiri dari tiga fase: fase preliminary research, fase prototyping dan fase assessment . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari (1) kajian botani tumbuhan kambat berhabitus perdu, akar tunggang, batang monopodial dan daun tunggal. Kajian etnofarmakologi digunakan sebagai obat luka, sakit kepala dan demam. Kajian etnoekologi terdiri dari faktor biotik yang sesuai untuk menujang pertumbuhan, keberadaan kambat sebagai penghijauan. Pada kajian etnoekonomi sebagai bahan pembuatan bedak dingin. Pada kajian etnososioantropologi sebagai bahan dalam upacara adat bapalas bidan. Kajian etnolinguistik diberi nama kambat karena berasal dari kata hambat yang artinya menghalangi hal-hal yang buruk. (2) Buku ilmiah populer tentang etnobotani kambat yang dikembangkan telah sesuai dengan proses penelitian dan pengembangan model Plomp & Nieveen 3 fase. (3) Hasil kelayakan Buku ilmiah populer sangat valid dengan rata-rata skor validitasnya 3,7 dan uji keterbacaan sangat baik dengan rata rata skor 95% untuk digunakan sebagai bahan ajar. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa BIP yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan dalam mata kuliah Etnobotan

Abstract

Due to a lack of references, learning the concept of Protista requires learning materials to overcome students' difficulties. This includes identifying Protista species, learning about the characteristics of the Protista group, and classifying Protista. Culture Proficiency Computerized Wetland (CLDW) is a Learning The board Framework programming made to work with material conveyance during the growing experience. In addition to describing students' responses to CLDW-based modules, the research aims to examine the effect of CLDW-based modules on students' general science skills and scientific attitudes toward the Protista concept. This sort of examination utilizes the Semi Analysis strategy. This study's sample consisted of students in class X at SMAN 9 Banjarmasin, who were divided into one treatment and one control group. The Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test and the SPSS 25 program were used to collect data on general scientific skills and scientific attitudes, which led to the following findings: From the exploration results, there is a huge impact of the utilization of CLDW-put together modules concerning the Protista idea on understudies' science conventional abilities with Asymp scores. Two-tailed sig. of 0.000-0.05 In the meantime, the scientific attitude data from this study show that students' scientific attitudes do not change significantly when CLDW-based modules are used, with scores at the Sig level (2-tailed) = 0.259 > 0.05. Furthermore, understudies' reactions to the utilization of CLDW-based modules were positive reactions in study hall learning, with a normal of 75% in the concur classification. According to the findings of this study, the module utilized by class X students at SMAN 9 Banjarmasin was approved and received a positive response.

Abstract

The population structure is a study in ecology that discusses the existence of a group of plants in a particular area. Rambai padi, found along the banks of Aluh Aluh River, Simpang Warga Village, Banjar Regency has the potential as a source of local potential-based teaching materials in the form of a popular scientific books. This research aims to describe the population structure of rambai padi, describe the process of developing a popular scientific book, and assess the feasibility of such a book. This research uses the Research and Development method using the Plomp & Nieveen (2013) which consists of three phases: preliminary research, prototyping phase, and assessment phase with research subjects by two experts as validators and five students as readability test subjects. The results showed that the population structure of the rambai padi plants obtained the number in the pre-reproductive phase amounted to 36,86 ind/ha, the reproductive phase amounted to 28,79 ind/ha, and post-reproductive phase amounted to 12,50 ind/ha, resulting that the pyramid shape obtained was a pyramid with a wide base shape. The Popular Scientific titled "Development of a Popular Scientific Book on The Population Structure of Rambai Padi (Sonneratia caseolaris L.) on the banks of Aluh Aluh River Simpang Warga Village, Banjar Regency" is deemed highly valid with a score of 3,57 and for the readibility test scored 90% with very good criteria, based on this, the Popular Scientific Book can be used as an educational resource

Abstract

Environmental awareness refers to the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment. This awareness is reflected in an individual's attitudes and actions, especially when they act voluntarily without external pressure. The Biology Education program at Universitas Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) envisions becoming a leading and competitive study program that produces graduates with expertise as educators who possess an in-depth understanding of wetland environments. This vision aims to produce graduates who not only have educational skills but also understand environmental issues, especially in wetland management and preservation, and have a high level of environmental awareness to support the sustainability of ecosystems. This study aims to describe the wetland environmental awareness of the Biology Education students at ULM. The method used is a quantitative survey conducted among active Biology Education students at ULM, consisting of students from the 2022, 2023, and 2024 academic years. The research results show that the students' environmental awareness is categorized into high (15.48%) and moderate (84.52%) criteria. The moderate environmental awareness level suggests a decline in environmental consciousness among students, which could affect the next generation's awareness if not balanced with environmental awareness.

Abstract

Hibiscus tiliaceus is one of the plants that is still used by the Bakumpai Dayak Community. The Hibiscus tiliaceus plant is one of the plants found in Bagus Village, Barito Kuala Regency and has the potential to be used as a source of ethnobotany learning. This study aims to examine the ethnobotanical aspects of the Hibiscus tiliaceus plant. And using a descriptive research approach with interviews with the community to describe the ethnobotany of the Hibiscus tiliaceus plant. The results of the descriptive study showed 6 ethnobotanical studies of the Hibiscus tiliaceus plant. The results of the analysis show that the botanical study has a habitus in the form of a tree, the ethno-pharmacological study of Hibiscus tiliaceus is used as a wound dressing for diabetics, the ethno-ecological study of Hibiscus tiliaceus based on the growing conditions that meet the optimal requirements, the ethno-socioanthropological study of Hibiscus tiliaceus is used as a bracelet. Legs and propulsion, ethno-economic studies Hibiscus tiliaceus is used as rope, wrapping peanuts/kuaci and firewood. the ethno-linguistic study of Hibiscus tiliaceus was given the name "new". Abstract

One form of learning in implementing the Merdeka curriculum is the application of the PBL-STEM model which brings students closer to real problems. The aim of this research is to examine the effect of applying the PBL-STEM model on cognitive learning outcomes in the environmental change sub-concept material. The method used in this research was quasi-experimental and non-equivalent control group. The experimental class was held in class X-F with a minimum number of students 34 people, and the control class was held in class X-D with a minimum number of students 34 people. Data was collected from pretest and posttest scores (product cognitive). In the data analysis technique, the Wilcoxon test was used for pre-test and post-test. The results of the research show that the application of the PBL STEM model has an effect on students' cognitive learning in learning the sub concept of environmental change in class X, 7.03 (caring), 6.78 (sharing), and psychomotor 21.2 (high category).

Abstract

The population structure of refers to the presence of a group of plants in a specific area. The pinang (Areca catechu L.) were found along the border of the Aluh Aluh River in Simpang Warga Village, Banjar Regency, which has the potential to serve as a local learning resource through a popular science book. This research aims to describe the population structure of pinang, outline the development process, and describe the validity and readability of a popular science book on the population structure of pinang as a supporting material for plant ecology. The popular science book was developed using Plomp's 3-phase development step: (1) preliminary research analysis, (2) prototyping phase, and (3) assessment phase (Plomp & Nieveen, 2013). The validity was assessed by 2 experts, and readability was tested by five students who had taken Plant Ecology courses. The population structure of pinang along the Aluh Aluh River border revealed a density of 192,85 ind/km² in the pre-reproductive phase, 314,28 ind/km² in the reproductive phase, and 85,7 ind/km² in the post-reproductive phase, with a pitcher or urn-shaped pyramid form. The developed popular science book attained a validity score of 3,59, indicating high validity, and achieved a readability score of 88.33% among students, indicating excellent readability.

Abstract

Students' knowledge about plants is crucial. The school environment serves not only as a place containing various types of plants but also as a learning resource. Some plants available in the school environment have the potential for medicinal use as well as aesthetic purposes. The purpose of this activity is to enhance student's knowledge about the utilization of plants in the school environment through educational activities at SDN Kuin Cerucuk V, Banjarmasin. The activity was conducted at SDN Kuin Cerucuk V with 64 students from grades 4, 5, and 6, along with 7 teachers. Besides the importance of conducting education about medicinal plants, similar activities regarding the utilization of medicinal plants in the vicinity of SDN Kuin Cerucuk V, Banjarmasin, have not been conducted before. Based on the service results, it is known that the educational activity on the utilization of plants around the environment shows a positive response and enthusiasm. The educational activities were carried out through lectures in classrooms and using posters as a publication medium. The results of the education show that there was an increase in students' knowledge, with a pre-education average of 10.91 and a post-education average of 89.01. The improvement in knowledge can contribute to teaching and learning activities

Abstract

Background: Lingkungan lahan basah memiliki tingkat kemasaman rendah yang menyebabkan sayuran sulit tumbuh. Pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan kepada mahasiswa tentang budidaya hidroponik sehingga menciptakan efek keberlanjutan yang bermanfaat baik bagi individu maupun keluarga. Tujuan pelatihan ini yaitu optimalisasi kemandirian pangan keluarga, serta mendukung keberlanjutan ekonomi peserta melalui hidroponik. Metode: Kegiatan pelatihan dilakukan melalui metode pendidikan masyarakat dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan edukatif pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi. Selain itu, pelatihan ini diharapkan mampu menjadi salah satu solusi pangan mandiri. Hasil: Produksi berbagai bahan pangan, khususnya sayur dan buah secara mandiri serta pemilihan jenis tanaman yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan gizi keluarga sangat diperlukan guna mencegah penyakit. Kegiatan pelatihan hidroponik skala rumah tangga untuk lingkungan lahan basah di Kalimantan Selatan terbukti terlaksana dengan baik. Kesimpulan: Pelatihan terbukti efektif meningkatkan kesadaran, kepedulian, dan keterampilan mahasiswa terhadap alternatif kemandirian pangan skala rumah tangga.

Abstract

Jamur makroskopis merupakan organisme multiseluler yang tumbuh pada daerah yang lembab. Kawasan Bendung Amandit merupakan daerah yang memiliki kondisi lingkungan yang sesuai bagi pertumbuhan jamur. Kawasan ini merupakan kawasan yang berada di sepanjang aliran Sungai Amandit. Area yang digunakan sebagai lokasi pengambilan sampel jamur makroskopis adalah area hutan sekunder berada yang di sekitaran bendung Amandit. Kondisi lingkungan di lokasi ini sangat mendukung bagi pertumbuhan jamur dengan kelembaban tinggi, ketersediaan bahan organik melimpah, serta naungan alami yang berasal dari tutupan pohon. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keragaman jenis jamur makroskopis yang ditemukan di Kawasan Bendung Amandit. Pengumpulan data keragaman jenis jamur makroskopis menggunakan metode line transek. Hasil penelitian ditemukan 20 spesies jamur makroskopis yang terdiri dari 12 famili yaitu Pycnoporus sanguineus, Lentinus sp., Earliella scabrosa, Cookeina tricholoma, Clavulinopsis sp., Schizophyllum commune, Trametes gibbosa, Cookeina sulcipes, Podoscypha petalodes, Marasmius sp., Fomitopsis sp., Marasmiellus candidus, Pycnoporellus sp., Lignosus rhinocerus, Marasmius elegans, Phallus indusiatus, Microporus xanthopus, Thelephora sp., Lycoperdon pyriforme dan Coltricia cinnamomea. Penelitian ini memberikan informasi terkait keragaman jenis jamur makroskopis yang berada di kawasan Bendung Amandit, dokumentasi keanekaragaman hayati dan dapat dijadikan sebagai dasar untuk penelitian lanjutan.
