Abstract

Tujuan utama kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pendidikan keorangtuaan kepada orang tua siswa di TK Dharma Wanita Suluk Dlopo Kabupaten Madiun. Metode pengabdian dilakukan dengan mengadakan sosialisasi melalu seminar eduparent (pendidikan keorangtuaan). Tema eduparent dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu melatih kemandirian anak usia dini. Sasaran pengabdian ini adalah orang tua siswa di TK Dharma Wanita Suluk Dlopo Kabupaten Madiun. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah orang tua siswa mampu mengetahui dan memahami perannya dalam mengasuh dan memperlakukan anak, khususnya dalam melatih kemandirian anak usia dini. Orang tua siswa sangat antusias mengikuti kegiata dari awal sampai selesai, sehingga mereka mendapatkan wawasan dalam melatih kemandirian anak usia dini sesuai dengan tahap perkembangannya.

Abstract

Child with learning disorder is one kind of children with special needs. The symptoms of this learning disorder are difficultto concentrate and understand new information resulting from nervous and brain function disorders. Children who experiencelearning disorder will show different attitudes from others, such as like yelling, daydreaming, being frightened, and running toand fro. These attitudes are expressed by Rumiyati Diah Sekar Purwaningsih, a student diagnosed with learning disorder.This learning disorder can be treated with therapy on a regular basis, such as speech therapy, habituation, and social therapy.In addition, early prevention can also be done at prenatal and postnatal time.

Abstract

Abstract: Language skills in early childhood has different levels of speed. Many cases occur such as school-age children who have speech delays. Factors that can affect both the parenting style of parents, the methods used in schools and even environmental factors. The method of delivering learning in schools has an important role in improving children's language development. Whole language is a natural approach in language learning. This research aims to describe and explain the actualization of whole language as an approach to early childhood language learning. Literature study is the research method used in this research. Literature studies, whether in the form of books, notes, or reports on the results of previous research, are materials used for the research process. The result of this analysis is to describe the form of application, weaknesses and strengths of language teaching using a whole language approach that can be modified according to the conditions in each school. Based on data that has been found that language skills in early childhood can increase naturally because this whole language approach in principle integrates learning with contextual matters. The four aspects of language skills, namely listening skills, reading skills, writing skills and speaking skills are also integrated in one activity to find out where students' weaknesses are in learning languages. Keywords: Whole language, language learning approach, early childhood Abstrak: Kemampuan berbahasa pada anak usia dini memiliki tingkat kecepatan yang berbeda-beda. Banyak kasus yang terjadi seperti anak usia sekolah yang memiliki keterlambatan berbicara. Faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi baik dari pola asuh orang tua, metode yang digunakan di sekolah bahkan faktor lingkungan. Metode penyampaian pembelajaran di sekolah memiliki peran penting dalam peningkatan perkembangan bahasa anak. Whole language merupakan suatu pendekatan alamiah dalam pembelajaran bahasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan tentang aktualisasi whole language sebagai sebuah pendekatan pembelajaran bahasa anak usia dini. Studi kepustakaan adalah metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Studi literatur, baik berupa buku, catatan, maupun laporan hasil penelitian terdahulu merupakan bahan yang digunakan untuk proses penelitian. Hasil dari analisis ini adalah memaparkan mengenai bentuk penerapan, kelemahan dan kelebihan pengajaran bahasa menggunakan pendekatan whole language yang dapat dimodifikasi sesuai dengan kondisi di masing-masing sekolah. Berdasarkan data-data yang telah ditemukan bahwa kemampuan berbahasa pada anak usia dini dapat meningkat secara alamiah karena pendekatan whole language ini pada prinsipnya mengintegrasikan pembelajaran dengan hal-hal yang kontekstual. Keempat aspek keterampilan berbahasa yakni keterampilan menyimak, keterampilan membaca, keterampilan menulis dan keterampilan berbicara pun diintegrasikan pada satu kegiatan guna mengetahui letak kelemahan siswa dalam belajar bahasa. Kata kunci: Whole language, Pendekatan pembelajaran bahasa, Anak usia dini

Abstract

The most effective way to prevent the spread of Covid-19 is to comply with health protocols. However, this habit is still tricky for some Indonesians, including in early childhood. This study aimed to develop and test the Ultaco game's quality as a medium in introducing the Covid-19 health protocol to early childhood. The research and development (RD) method was used in this study. In developing the Ultaco game, three steps carried out, including planning, design, and development. Product quality testing was carried out using three techniques: alpha test, beta test, and final evaluation. This study showed that the Ultaco game is a kind of snakes and ladders game that contains the Covid-19 health protocol, including wearing a mask, maintaining distance, staying at home, washing hands, covering sneezes, exercising diligently, and eating nutritiously. The trial results showed that the Ultaco game is of good quality and is suitable for use as a medium for introducing the Covid-19 health protocol to early childhood. This is based on the average score of the alpha test score of 4.48, the beta test score of 3.41, and the final evaluation score of 3.64. This study implies that children can become accustomed to complying with the Covid-19 health protocol with attractive, fun, and fun game media.

Abstract

The implementation of early childhood learning in Indonesia prior to the issuance Permendikbud No. 137 of 2014 is referred to and guided by the Permendiknas 58 Year 2009. Then after Permendikbud No 137 of 2014 is set, then Permendiknas 58 The year 2009 is no longer valid and can not be used as guidelines in the implementation of early childhood education. Permendikbud No. 137 of 2014 is a manifestation of the implementation of Curriculum 2013, while Permendiknas 58 The year 2009 was a manifestation of the Education Unit Level Curriculum (SBC). From a technical point of these two regulations is different, but in terms of content or meaning in general have similarities. Nonetheless, Permendikbud No. 137 of 2014 is designed to melengkapai and enhance Permendiknas 58 Year 2009 on Early Childhood Education Standards

Abstract

Corruption is a big problem that exists in this country. One of preventing thing that is done through Anti-corruption education since early childhood.  The title of this research is the role of “CAS CIS CUS” Fairytale in Anti-Corruption education at AL ISLAM Kindergarten 5 Surakarta. The study case of qualitative method research with subjects 2 teachers and 31 students and their parents. The collection of data through observation, interview, and documentation. The validity of data by testing the degree of trust, diversion, dependent and certainty. Data analysis with interactive model that consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The result of discussion includes the implementation of Anti corruption education with CAS CIS CUS fairytale divides into three phases of fairytale; They are”CAS (Cipta Aksi Super), “CIS (Cipta Inspirasi Super), and“CUS” (Cipta Usulan Super). An anti-Corruption value includes honesty, hard work, discipline and responsibility. The supporting factor is giving fairytale program and enhancement of teacher’s competence, meanwhile the problem comes from parents.

Abstract

The big problem of Indonesian people today is moral degradation. The number of criminal cases, promiscuity, drugs, and corruption indicate that the moral of this nation has been damaged. If it is not immediately addressed, it will have a negative impact on the sustainability of the nation . To overcome moral degradation, one way that is considered very effective is to implement religious humanist education from an early age. that in those days the child is very easy to receive new information and has not been affected by negative behavior from outside. Religious Humanist Education (RHE) is very important for early childhood. RHE teaches children about morality and good values towards fellow human beings and the environment. RHE can grow children to be intelligent, to have character, and to be noble. Therefore, this article aimed to examine the concept of religious humanist education in early childhood.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui kualitas atau kelayakan permainan Monraked sebagai media untuk menstimulasi kecerdasan logika matematika anak usia dini, dan 2) mengetahui kelebihan dan kelemahan permainan Monraked sebagai media pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D). Prosedur pengembangan meliputi perencanaan, desain, dan pengembangan. Validasi produk dilakukan dengan cara alpha test, beta test, dan evaluasi akhir. Untuk validator apha test yaitu satu ahli materi dan satu ahli media. Setelah alpha test dilaksanakan, kemudian produk direvisi dan dilakukan uji coba yang selanjutnya, yakni beta test. Dalam pelaksanaan beta test yang menjadi subyeknya adalah 4 (empat) orang peserta didik dari kelas Matahari PAUD Griya Nanda Yogyakarta.Setelah itu, produk dilakukan evaluasi akhir dengan melibatkan 18 (delapan belas) orang peserta didik dari kelas Matahari. Semua subyek tersebut diminta untuk memberikan penilaian tentang kualitas produk Monraked sebagai media pembelajaran. Data yang dihasilkan kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif.Hasil dari penelitian adalah: 1) hasil evaluasi sumatif menunjukkan bahwa permainan Monraked layak atau baik digunakan sebagai media untuk menstimulasi kecerdasan logika matematika anak usia dini. Hal ini didasarkan pada hasil skor penilaian yang mencapai rata-rata 3,94 yang berarti masuk kategori baik. 2) permainan Monraked mempunyai kelebihan sebagai mediapembelajaran logika matematika yang asyik dan menyenangkan, aman digunakan oleh anakanak,dapat dipakai kapan dan di mana saja, serta mampu mestimulasi kecerdasan yang lain,seperti motorik, bahasa, dan sosial emosional. Sedangkan kelemahanya ialah materi bersifatpermanen, memerlukan tempat yang luas, dan membutuhkan waktu lama untukmenyelesaikannya. Hasil penelitian ini secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa permainanMonraked dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran logika matematika anak usia dini.

Abstract

The purpose of this study were (1) to know the perception of PGPAUD students toward early childhood education in Ponorogo District. (2) to know the obstacles of early childhood education in Ponorogo Regency based on perception of PG-PAUD students Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive involving 30 students. Data collection was done by interview technique. The interview was conducted directly to the students of PGPAUD Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo. The results of this study are 1) PGPAUD student perception on the implementation of early childhood education in Ponorogo regency in general has not run well according to national standards of early childhood education. 2) the obstacles of early childhood education in Ponorogo District are a) there are some teachers of PAUD who have not S1 PGPAUD, the welfare of early childhood teachers are still low, facilities and infrastructure is not adequate, and mininya assistance from the government, both central and local.
