Abstract

The study aims to determine the implementation of human resource management at Tadika Brilliant Buds Edukids Malaysia in making efforts to improve the quality of education and the effectiveness of human resource management in the future. Aspects of human resource management at Tadika Brilliant Buds Edukids Malaysia include the recruitment process, selection, orientation, performance management, and compensation. The method used in this study is a descriptive approach that is included in the qualitative category. The data sources obtained consist of primary data, such as the results of interviews with respondents, as well as secondary data including research journals, books, and documentation. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that effective human resource management makes a significant contribution to improving the quality of education and child involvement. However, challenges such as limited resources must be overcome to achieve optimal results. Research can add valuable insight for Tadika managers in formulating better human resource management strategies to support the development of early childhood education.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of internal and external factors on profitability as proxied by Return on Assets (ROA), a study on Islamic Commercial Banks for the 2016-2020 period. In the theory of profitability, there are 2 factors that affect bank profitability, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors in this study are BOPO (Operating Expenses to Operating Income), Non-Performing Financing (NPF), Financial to Deposit Ratio (FDR) and external factors in this study are inflation and the money supply. Profitability is one of the most important factors in a company, including Islamic financial institutions, in this case Islamic banks, so that every company must pay attention to the company's profitability ratios. Islamic banks are financial institutions that just started to emerge in the late 90s and have a very high level of competition with conventional banks. For this reason, this study aims to look at the financial performance of Islamic banks in Indonesia through the level of profitability they have had for the last 5 years. The sample selection in this study used purposive sampling method. The sample in this study is the monthly financial statements of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia in 2016-2020. The data in this study will be processed using SPSS software with multiple regression. The results of this study state that inflation as an external factor does not have a significant effect on the profitability of Islamic Commercial Banks as measured by the Return on Assets (ROA) ratio with a significance level of 0.628 and the money supply has a significant effect on ROA. While the BOPO, NPF and FDR variables as internal factors have a significant effect on ROA.

Abstract

Currently, many campuses have implemented operational fund management through waqf, including the Al-Azhar Egypt campus, Unida Gontor, UII Yogyakarta, and Darunnajah waqf. However, on the other hand, there are still many aspects of management as well as data and management that have not been digitized and published in general. so that this becomes a problem of waqf accountability itself. The purpose of this study is to clearly know the pattern of cash waqf management at the Unida Gontor and MUI campuses and be able to implement this model on all campuses. The methodology of this research is descriptive qualitative with an ANP analysis tool. The results show there are 3 problems in this cash waqf model. Among other things, the HR factor with a rather agreement value of 2%, universities with a rather agreement value of 12% and the operational value of rather agreement at 1%, and the strategy, namely the synergy between BWI and universities, using local wisdom and being used as waqf as a lifestyle with the rather agreement value by 16%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of understanding profit sharing and margins on Sharia financial behavior according to the understanding of the public and employees of Bank Syariah Indonesia, Pematang Siantar City. The implication is customers who possess greater financial literacy about these concepts may make better decisions and select investment products that better suit their moral convictions and financial objectives. This thesis's research type is quantitative, and the data used is primary. The population used in this research was the local community and BSI Pematang Siantar City employees, totaling 150 people, and the sampling technique used the Slovin formula with n=109. Data analysis techniques using descriptive tests, data quality tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The data processing uses the SPSS version 22.0 program. The research results show that: (1) The model estimation shows that the R Square value is 0.775. This means that 77.5% of the independent variables in this model influence the dependent variable. Other variables outside this model influence the remaining 22.5%; (2) The regression model shows that understanding profit sharing significantly affects Sharia financial behavior, and understanding margin significantly affects Sharia financial behavior.

Abstract

Rendahnya literasi digital terkait pemanfaatan Kecerdasan Buatan (AI) yang menghambat produktivitas publikasi ilmiah di kalangan sivitas akademika Fakultas Sastra, Fatoni University, Thailand, menjadi permasalahan krusial yang melatarbelakangi kegiatan pengabdian ini. Menjawab tantangan tersebut, kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini dirancang sebagai intervensi strategis yang bertujuan untuk: 1) membekali peserta dengan pemahaman dasar dan keterampilan praktis penggunaan AI dalam penulisan karya ilmiah; 2) meningkatkan produktivitas dan kualitas publikasi ilmiah dosen dan mahasiswa; serta 3) mendorong integrasi AI dalam kegiatan akademik di institusi mitra. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini diimplementasikan menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang diwujudkan dalam bentuk lokakarya interaktif intensif selama dua hari pada 13–14 November 2024. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 75 peserta yang terdiri dari dosen dan mahasiswa di Gedung Fakultas Sastra, Fatoni University, dan mencakup serangkaian sesi terstruktur, mulai dari presentasi materi konseptual mengenai relevansi AI, demonstrasi teknis berbagai aplikasi AI untuk penulisan (pencarian literatur, parafrasis, pengecekan tata bahasa, dan manajemen sitasi), hingga sesi praktik langsung (hands-on) di mana peserta mengaplikasikan perangkat AI pada draf tulisan mereka sendiri. Keberhasilan program diukur secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif melalui instrumen evaluasi berupa pre-test, post-test, dan kuesioner kepuasan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan dampak yang sangat signifikan terhadap peningkatan kompetensi peserta. Analisis data kuantitatif membuktikan adanya lonjakan pemahaman yang substansial, di mana skor rata-rata peserta meningkat tajam dari 45,8 pada saat pre-test menjadi 82,5 pada post-test, yang merepresentasikan kenaikan pemahaman sebesar 80,13%. Secara kualitatif, hasil observasi dan umpan balik menunjukkan bahwa lebih dari 90% peserta merasa lebih percaya diri dan mampu mengoperasikan setidaknya dua hingga tiga aplikasi AI secara mandiri untuk membantu proses penulisan mereka, disertai dengan meningkatnya motivasi untuk menghasilkan karya ilmiah. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian ini berhasil mentransformasikan pengetahuan konseptual mengenai AI menjadi kapabilitas praktis yang aplikatif, tidak hanya membekali individu dengan keterampilan esensial di era digital, tetapi juga menanamkan fondasi bagi budaya akademik yang lebih inovatif dan produktif di lingkungan Fakultas Sastra Fatoni University, sekaligus menawarkan cetak biru intervensi yang efektif untuk menjembatani kesenjangan literasi teknologi di institusi pendidikan tinggi lainnya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of leadership training for staff at Tadika Al Fikh Orchard HQ Malaysia. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that leadership training has proven effectively in improving the quality of human resources at Tadika. Staff become more confident in making decisions, are able to communicate effectively, and demonstrate a better work ethic. Challenges faced include time constraints, differences in participant backgrounds, and consistency in implementing training results in the field, so that appropriate strategies are needed to optimize the benefits of the training.
