Abstract

Proses pemesanan dan pembayaran pada kantin konvensional sering menimbulkan antrean panjang, kesalahan pencatatan, serta keterlambatan pelayanan karena masih dilakukan secara manual. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, penelitian ini mengembangkan SmartCanteen, yaitu sistem pemesanan dan pembayaran kantin berbasis website yang memungkinkan pelanggan memesan menu dan melakukan pembayaran secara online tanpa perlu mengantre. Sistem dibangun menggunakan metode Waterfall, dengan pengembangan berbasis native PHP, MySQL, dan XAMPP, serta antarmuka HTML, CSS, dan JavaScript. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mempercepat proses transaksi, mengurangi antrean fisik, dan membantu admin dalam mengelola menu serta riwayat pesanan secara terpusat. Integrasi pembayaran digital QRIS mendukung transaksi non-tunai yang lebih cepat dan aman. Hasil pengujian langsung menyatakan seluruh fungsi berjalan sesuai kebutuhan dan siap diterapkan pada lingkungan kantin kampus.

Abstract

Procedural inefficiency is a major challenge in administering laboratory equipment loans in academic environments, where paper-based processes are prone to recording errors and inventory data discrepancies. This condition directly impacts low asset accountability and the inability to monitor equipment availability status in real-time. This research focuses on the design and implementation of a website-based Laboratory Equipment Loan Information System (SIPINLAB) to provide an efficient, centralized, and accountable digital solution. The system development methodology uses the Waterfall Model approach, which is executed sequentially through the stages of requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The technical implementation of SIPINLAB utilizes the PHP Native programming language and the MySQL database management system. The main findings of this study were confirmed through validation of the system's functionality using Black Box Testing in five main scenarios. The test results showed a 100% functional success rate, confirming that the system operates fully according to design specifications. This success validates the performance of SIPINLAB's crucial features, including the integration of automatic penalty calculations based on late returns and a real-time stock control mechanism that ensures data consistency. Overall, SIPINLAB successfully met its research objectives by transforming the manual loan process into a computerized one. This system's contribution minimizes the potential for human error and significantly improves laboratory asset management accountability through centralized, accurate, and valid transaction data.

Abstract

The distribution of social assistance in rural areas is a strategic government effort to reduce social inequality and improve the welfare of underprivileged communities. However, in Petuaran Hilir Village, the process of determining aid recipients is still conducted manually, leading to various issues such as a lack of objectivity, potential unfairness, and mistargeting. Therefore, this study aims to design and implement a Decision Support System (DSS) using the Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method to determine social assistance recipients in a more systematic and transparent manner. The SMART method was chosen due to its effectiveness in simplifying multi-criteria decision-making and its practicality for implementation at the village level. The system was developed as a web-based application and tested using the black-box method, as well as validated against the manual selection results conducted by village officials. Testing results showed that the system can objectively identify and rank aid recipients based on final scores from five main criteria: income, number of dependents, home ownership status, housing condition, and type of employment. The system achieved 100% consistency with manual selection results and reduced the selection process time by up to 70%, enabling a fairer and more targeted distribution of aid based on systematically calculated scores. By eliminating manual bias in the selection process, the system significantly improves the accuracy of recipient rankings. This study also opens opportunities for further development, such as integrating real-time population data and advanced analytical features to support more responsive social policies.

Abstract

Health and fitness play a crucial role in improving the quality of life. This study aims to develop a web-based health calculator system capable of automatically, in real time, calculating health indicators such as ideal body weight, Body Mass Index (BMI), basic and daily calorie needs, and body fat levels. This system was built using the Waterfall method with HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript technologies. To assess accuracy, testing was conducted on five user datasets by comparing the system's calculations with manual calculations using standard formulas. The difference between the two was calculated as the average relative deviation for each indicator: 0.13% (BMI), 0.84% (ideal body weight), 0.27% (basic calories), 0.27% (daily calories), and 0.73% (body fat levels). Since all deviations were <1%, the system's overall accuracy was estimated to exceed 99%. The test results can be further visualized graphically to clarify the comparison of values. The system also demonstrated ease of use and responsive performance. In conclusion, this system can be used as an accurate and practical educational tool to support self-monitoring of health.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and develop a web-based digital queuing system designed to significantly enhance the efficiency of banking services in the digital age. The urgent problem identified is the suboptimal management of customer queues, which frequently leads to prolonged waiting times and ultimately diminishes customer satisfaction with the bank's services. We constructed this system using the foundational web technologies of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, primarily targeting the creation of an interface that is user-friendly, visually comfortable, and accessible from any gadget. The research was conducted at Bank Nusantara Branch in Medan. The methodology involved direct observation of the current manual queuing process, coupled with brief discussions (interviews) with several customers and staff to accurately grasp the specific needs. The key contribution of this study is the successful creation of a comprehensive draft design for a digital queuing system, which can serve as a concrete guideline for other banks. This initial result presents a system draft enabling customers to take and monitor their queue position from anywhere. The expectation is that this solution will significantly cut waiting times and elevate the overall customer experience. As a concluding step, the system will undergo thorough testing and user satisfaction evaluation to ensure its readiness for actual implementation in the banking sector.

Abstract

Primary health care facilities such as Community Health Centers (Puskesmas) still face challenges of inefficiency and the risk of human error due to manual data collection processes. This study aims to develop and implement a web-based Community Health Center Management Information System (SIM-PUSKESMAS) in Karang Anyer to improve service efficiency and accuracy. The study used a Research and Development (R&D) approach. The system design was carried out through Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling, and the system implementation used web-based PHP and MySQL technologies in the XAMPP environment. The results showed the successful implementation of SIM-PUSKESMAS with role-based access rights (Admin, Doctor, Pharmacist, Patient). The main functional pages developed include Queue Management, SOAP-based Medical Records (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan), Pharmacy Management, and Reports/Referrals. Comparison with conventional systems shows that this digital system significantly improves the speed of service and the accuracy of clinical data. It can be concluded that SIM-PUSKESMAS Karang Anyer is effective in ensuring data integrity, supporting better governance through instant reporting, and is a concrete step towards the digitalization of sustainable and quality health services.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyajikan perancangan dan implementasi sistem kunci pintu otomatis berbasis teknologi RFID dan mikrokontroler Arduino Uno dengan tampilan status akses. Sistem ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keamanan pintu dan mempermudah pengendalian akses dengan hanya mengizinkan kartu RFID yang terdaftar untuk membuka kunci pintu. Saat kartu valid terdeteksi, mikrokontroler akan mengaktifkan mekanisme pengunci dan menampilkan status akses pada layar LCD, sedangkan kartu yang tidak terdaftar akan memunculkan pesan penolakan. Komponen perangkat keras terdiri atas Arduino Uno, modul pembaca RFID, tampilan LCD, dan aktuator pengunci, sedangkan perangkat lunak dikembangkan menggunakan Arduino IDE dengan pemrograman berbasis C. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada analisis kinerja sistem akses pintu RFID sederhana yang difokuskan pada waktu respon sistem, stabilitas pembacaan UID pada jarak tertentu, serta kejelasan umpan balik status akses bagi pengguna. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mengenali pengguna yang berwenang dan melakukan proses penguncian serta pembukaan otomatis dengan tingkat keberhasilan 100% dalam jarak uji. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa sistem kunci pintu otomatis berbasis RFID dapat menjadi solusi pengendalian akses yang efisien dan andal untuk lingkungan rumah tangga maupun institusional.

Abstract

Bullying dan cyberbullying merupakan permasalahan yang semakin sering terjadi di lingkungan pendidikan seiring meningkatnya penggunaan teknologi digital. Banyak kasus tidak tertangani karena korban tidak memiliki sarana pelaporan yang aman, mudah diakses, dan mendukung anonimitas. Penelitian ini menghasilkan Sistem Informasi Anti–Bullying dan Cyberbullying Berbasis Web yang dirancang sebagai platform pelaporan, pendokumentasian bukti, edukasi, dan interaksi antar pengguna. Sistem dibangun menggunakan PHP dan MySQL dengan fitur utama berupa pelaporan insiden, unggah bukti, forum diskusi, manajemen artikel edukasi, komentar, serta dashboard admin untuk memantau, memverifikasi, dan memperbarui status laporan. Pengembangan sistem mengikuti model waterfall, mulai dari analisis kebutuhan hingga pengujian, dan diuji menggunakan Blackbox Testing. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh fitur berjalan sesuai kebutuhan fungsional pengguna. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat membantu mempercepat penanganan kasus bullying, meningkatkan kesadaran akan bahaya cyberbullying, serta memperkuat literasi dan keamanan digital di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Program pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas perajin batik melalui pendampingan desain batik digital menggunakan aplikasi Ambatig untuk mempercepat perancangan dan menata konsistensi pengulangan motif tanpa menghilangkan identitas Batak–Melayu. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama empat minggu melalui sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, dan pendampingan dengan pemanfaatan pengaturan pola frieze (satu arah) dan kristalografi (dua arah). Evaluasi melibatkan 15 peserta menggunakan angket skala Likert pada lima poin serta observasi terhadap durasi pradesain, jumlah varian desain, dan kesalahan sambungan pola. Hasil menunjukkan rerata kepuasan peserta di atas skor 4 dengan sekitar 80% respons positif, terutama pada aspek kesesuaian gaya visual (4,5) dan kemudahan dipelajari (4,3). Secara operasional, waktu pradesain berkurang dari sekitar 90 menit menjadi 40–50 menit per varian, peserta mampu menghasilkan 2–3 varian desain dalam 90 menit, dan kesalahan sambungan pola berkurang. Program ini juga menghasilkan portofolio desain digital berisi parameter siap produksi. Dengan demikian, pemanfaatan Ambatig efektif meningkatkan efisiensi dan kerapian perancangan motif batik serta mendukung pelestarian dan keberlanjutan motif Batak–Melayu melalui dokumentasi digital dan penguatan kapasitas perajin lokal.
