Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of story card media in improving students’ self-confidence in speaking skills at the elementary school level. This research employed a pre-experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest approach. The subjects were 32 fourth-grade students of MIS Hidayatul Hasaniyyah in the even semester of the 2026 academic year. Data were collected using observation sheets of students’ self-confidence during speaking activities. The results showed that the average score of students’ self-confidence before treatment (pretest) was 45.62 and increased to 82.78 after the implementation of story card media. The improvement of 37.16 points indicates that story card media is effective in enhancing students’ self-confidence in speaking. Therefore, story card media can be used as an alternative learning medium to encourage students to express their ideas more confidently.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the Jigsaw learning model assisted by digital media tables of snakes and ladders affects students' learning interest in mathematics learning in grade III at SDN Kota Bengkulu. This study is a quantitative study using a quasi-experimental method. The type of research design applied is a Control Group Pretest-Posttest Matching Only design. This study involved grade III students of SDN 38 Kota Bengkulu. Meanwhile, the sample consisted of grade IIIB students of SDN 38 Kota Bengkulu, which served as the experimental class, and grade IIIA students of SDN 38 Kota Bengkulu, which served as the control class. This sample was taken through a random sampling group. Non-test tools were used in measuring learning interest using initial and final questionnaires. The results of the hypothesis test in the experimental class show that the t-value with the assumption of the same difference = 4.675, the two-tailed sigma value is 0.027, and the distribution value is 1.967, so that the t-value is greater than the t-table (4.308 is greater than 1.697), and the two-tailed sigma is 0.037 less than 0.05. These data show that the difference in average learning interest between the experimental class and the control class is caused by the way each class is treated. Thus, it can be concluded that the Jigsaw learning model assisted by digital media snakes and ladders has an impact on students' learning interest in mathematics subjects in grade III at SDN 38 Bengkulu City.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on the mathematical conceptual understanding of fourth-grade students in Cluster XIV, Bengkulu City. The research is quantitative, using a quasi-experimental method with a Matching Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population consisted of fourth-grade students in Cluster XIV. The sample included class IVA of SDN 42 Bengkulu City as the experimental group and class IV of SDN 45 Bengkulu City as the control group, selected using Cluster Random Sampling. The instrument used was an essay-format test to assess students’ mathematical conceptual understanding through pretests and posttests. Data were analyzed quantitatively using descriptive statistics, prerequisite tests, and inferential analysis through a t-test. The results showed a significant difference between the posttest average scores of the experimental class (77.90) and the control class (57.86), with the experimental group scoring higher. Based on the t-distribution table with df = 41 and a significance level of 5%, the critical value was 1.683. The analysis showed that t_calculated > t_table (5.786 > 1.683) and the significance value (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.005. Therefore, H₀ is rejected and Hₐ is accepted. It can be concluded that the Project-Based Learning model significantly affects the mathematical conceptual understanding of fourth-grade students in Cluster XIV, Bengkulu City.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a learning media in the form of the ICARUS (Interactive Creative Active Relevant Understanding Shape) application for plane geometry material as an effort to support mathematics learning for fourth-grade students at State Elementary School 81 Bengkulu City. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study using the ADDIE development model. The research was conducted in 5 stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, carried out through small-scale trials to measure teacher and student responses. The instruments used were product validation sheets, teacher response questionnaires, and student response questionnaires. The feasibility of the ICARUS application was obtained through validation results conducted by four competent expert validators, including material experts, language experts, and graphic design experts. The validity of the ICARUS application learning media was obtained based on Aiken's V calculation results with an average material validity value of 0.96, language 0.86, and graphic design 0.93, all of which fall into the "very valid" category. Reliability testing using Percentage Agreement (PA) showed an agreement percentage above 80% with a strong agreement level, proving the consistency of assessments among validators and the reliability of the validation instrument. The practicality percentage value of the ICARUS application through teacher responses was 97.3% and student response results were 92.96% with an overall average of 95.13%, falling into the "very practical" category. The validation and small-scale trials through teacher and student responses indicate that the ICARUS application is highly valid and suitable for use as a mathematics learning media for plane geometry material in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study evaluates the theoretical and empirical feasibility of a science literacy assessment instrument integrated with Bengkulu’s local wisdom, Rimbo Larangan, for elementary students. Using the R&D approach with the ADDIE model, the instrument was designed to align scientific literacy dimensions (context, competence, knowledge, and attitude) with local ecological values. Data were collected via expert validation and trials with 30 students, then analyzed using Aiken’s V and descriptive statistics. Results show high theoretical feasibility with an Aiken’s V index of 0.88 and inter-rater reliability of 0.87. Empirically, the instrument demonstrated high reliability (Cronbach’s Alpha 0.89) and valid item distribution across varying difficulty levels. Analysis of student profiles revealed that while the local context significantly boosted scientific attitudes (78%), scientific competence (58%) remains a challenge, particularly in evidence-based reasoning. This study concludes that the Rimbo Larangan-based instrument is a feasible and valid tool for measuring science literacy contextually. It bridges the gap between school science and indigenous ecological knowledge, fostering both environmental awareness and critical thinking in elementary education.

Abstract

The background of this research is the desire to address complex problems in mathematics learning within the Merdeka Curriculum, especially those stemming from teachers lack of understanding of students initial characteristics, which impacts student learning outcomes.This study aims to determine the effect of the differentiated learning approach on the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at gugus state primary school XIX Bengkulu City. This research employs a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. The research design used is the matching only pretest-posttest control group. The sampling technique applied in this study is cluster random sampling, consisting of two groups: the experimental group, which implements the differentiated learning approach, and the control group, which follows the scientific approach. The data from this study were analyzed using statistical tests. The average posttest scores of the experimental and control groups were 79,10 and 69,23, respectively. The statistical test results indicate that the sig. (2-tailed) value for the posttest is 0,000 (0,000 < 0,05), and the t-value is 4,269, which is greater than the t-table value of 1,680. This indicates a significant difference in the posttest mean scores between the experimental and control groups Which is caused by the different treatments applied to each group. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the differentiated learning approach has a significant effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at gugus state primary school XIX Bengkulu City. Therefore, this approach can be an effective strategy to enhance students conceptual understanding of mathematics and improve the quality of learning in elementary schools. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keinginan untuk mengatasi permasalahan kompleks dalam pembelajaran matematika dalam Kurikulum Merdeka, terutama yang bersumber dari kurangnya pemahaman guru terhadap karakteristik awal siswa, yang berdampak pada hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SDN Gugus XIX Kota Bengkulu. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen kuasi. Desain  yang digunakan adalah the matching only pretest-posttest control group. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu cluster random sampling  dengan sampel terdiri dari dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen yang menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dan kelompok kontrol dengan pendekatan saintifik. Data dari penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik. Nilai rata-rata posttest kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol adalah sebesar 79,10 dan 69,23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai sig. (2-tailed) pada posttest adalah 0,000 (0,000 < 0,05), serta nilai thitung sebesar 4,269 lebih besar dari ttabel 1,680 yang artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan nilai rata-rata posttest antara kelompok eksperimen dan  kontrol yang disebabkan adanya perlakuan yang berbeda pada setiap kelompok. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SDN Gugus XIX Kota Bengkulu. Oleh karena itu, pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika dan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam matematika tidak hanya terjadi pada tingkat global, tetapi juga tampak di berbagai satuan pendidikan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Model Numbered Head Together (NHT) dengan pendekatan Deep Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika kelas V Gugus XVII Kota Bengkulu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen semu menggunakan desain matching only pretest–posttest control group design.. penelitian kuantitatif adalah penelitian yang bersifat objektif, terukur, dan berorientasi pada pengujian hipotesis melalui data statistik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diperoleh Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,016. 0,016< 0,05 maka  diterima dan  ditolak. Artinya hipotesis menyatakan bahwa " Terdapat Pengaruh Model Numbered Head Together (NHT) dengan Pendekatan Deep Learning Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis pada Mata Pelajaran Matematika Kelas V SDN Gugus XVII Kota Bengkulu”. Hal ini dikarenakan telah diberikan perlakuan pada pembelajaran matematika pada data sampel kelas eksperimen menggunakan Model NHT dengan Pendekatan Deep Learning. Berdasarkan analisis data dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model Numbered Head Together (NHT) dengan pendekatan Deep Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V Gugus XVII Kota Bengkulu.

Abstract

Students' attitudes and intelligence begin to develop during elementary school. Mathematical resources are one that significantly influences this point in the curriculum. The ultimate goal of mathematics instruction according to BSKAP Decree No. 32 concerning Schools With the help of the 2024 Independent Curriculum, students can understand mathematical ideas by seeing real-world applications. According to Marasabessy et al. (2021), geometry is one of the foundations of mathematics. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the use of Augmented Reality media in grade V students in Cluster XI of Bengkulu City was affected by their mathematics learning outcomes. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a control group design and only involved a pre-test and post-test. Participants in this study were fifth-grade students from Cluster XI of Bengkulu City. Using the Cluster Sampling technique, the researcher selected students from two classes: one, the experimental group from grade VA of SDN 5, and the other, the control group from SDN 41. A total of 10 multiple-choice questions were given as the pre-test and post-test in this study. Students in the experimental and control groups had a t-count of -1.465 and a p-value of 0.0 based on the pre-test data analysis. There was no significant difference in learning outcomes because the Sig. (2-tailed) value of (0.149) was greater than the probability (0.05), the t-table distribution with a significance level of 0.05 was 1.673, and the t-count was smaller than the t-table with a t-count value of -1.465 and a t-table value of 1.673. The post-test data analysis in the experimental and control classes showed that there was a significant difference in the average scores and that Augmented Reality media affected learning outcomes. This was supported by the Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 and the t-table distribution of 1.673, which was smaller than the significance level of 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that there was a significant difference in the data and Augmented Reality media affected learning outcomes.Sikap dan kecerdasan siswa mulai berkembang selama sekolah dasar. Sumber daya matematika adalah salah satu yang secara signifikan mempengaruhi titik ini dalam kurikulum. Tujuan akhir instruksi matematika menurut Keputusan BSKAP No. 32 tentang Sekolah Dengan bantuan Kurikulum Independen 2024, siswa dapat memahami ide-ide matematika dengan melihat aplikasi dunia nyata. Menurut Marasabessy et al. (2021), geometri adalah salah satu landasan matematika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah siswa kelas V Gugus XI Kota Bengkulu terdampak oleh penggunaan media Augmented Reality pada hasil belajar matematika mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen quasy dengan control group design dan hanya melibatkan pre-test dan post test. Peserta dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas lima dari Gugus XI Kota Bengkulu. Dengan menggunakan teknik Cluster Sampling, peneliti memilih siswa dari dua kelas yaitu satu, kelompok eksperimen dari kelas VA SDN 5, dan yang lainnya, kelompok kontrol dari SDN 41. Sebanyak 10 pertanyaan pilihan ganda diberikan sebagai pre-test dan post-test dalam penelitian ini. Siswa dalam kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol memiliki t hitung sebesar -1,465 dan nilai p sebesar 0,0 berdasarkan analisis data pre-test. Tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan dalam hasil belajar karena nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar (0,149) lebih besar dari probabilitas (0,05), distribusi t tabel dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,05 adalah 1,673, dan t hitung lebih kecil dari t tabel dengan nilai t hitung sebesar -1,465 dan nilai t tabel sebesar 1,673. Analisis data post-test di kelas eksperimen dan kontrol menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan dalam nilai rata-rata dan bahwa media Augmented Reality memengaruhi hasil belajar. Hal ini didukung oleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 dan distribusi t tabel sebesar 1,673, yang lebih kecil dari tingkat signifikansi 0,05. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan data yang signifikan dan media Augmented Reality berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam pembelajaran matematika yang sering dihadapi oleh guru adalah permasalahan siswa yang kesulitan dalam memahami masalah yang ada dalam soal dan kesulitan menyelesaikan soal sesuai dengan tahapan pemecahan masalah yang seharusnya. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membekali guru dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) untuk mengembangkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas III SDN 01 Kota Bengkulu sehingga siswa dapat memahami materi pelajaran dengan baik dan siswa dapat menyelesaikan soal cerita pemecahan masalah dengan benar dan mudah. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan. Instrumen evaluasi kegiatan ini adalah lembar wawancara, lembar observasi dan lembar tes. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat di SDN 01 Kota Bengkulu telah terlaksana dengan baik. Hal ini dapat terlihat dari praktik pembelajaran di kelas III SDN 01 Kota Bengkulu yang menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa yang sudah menjadi lebih baik. Dari kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat di SDN 01 Kota Bengkulu dapat disimpulkan bahwa Pendampingan Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) untuk Mengembangkan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Siswa Kelas III SDN 01 Kota Bengkulu berhasil dilakukan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model assisted by Educandy media on student interest in learning grade V mathematics in SDN cluster III Bengkulu City. This quantitative research uses the quasy experiment method and the Matching Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of class VB students of SDN 03 Bengkulu City as the experimental class and class V students of SDN 57 Bengkulu City as the control class obtained through cluster random sampling. Non-test instruments to measure interest in learning in the form of a final questionnaire and initial questionnaire. The results of hypothesis testing in the experimental class showed that the tcount value using Equal Variences Assumed = 2.587 and the Sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.013 and the ttable distribution value is 2.021, so that the tcount> ttable (2.587> 2.021) and Sig. (2-tailed) 0.013 < 0.05. So there is an influence on this study.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi pengaruh model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT) yang didukung oleh media Educandy terhadap minat belajar siswa dalam pelajaran matematika di kelas V SDN Gugus III Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen kuasi dan desain penelitian "The Matching Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design". Sampel penelitian terdiri dari siswa kelas VB SDN 03 Kota Bengkulu yang berfungsi sebagai kelompok eksperimen, serta siswa kelas V SDN 57 Kota Bengkulu yang berperan sebagai kelompok kontrol, yang dipilih melalui teknik cluster random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket untuk mengukur minat belajar siswa yang diberikan sebelum dan setelah intervensi pembelajaran. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol berdasarkan uji hipotesis. Nilai thitung diperoleh sebesar 2,587 dengan nilai Signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,013, di mana nilai distribusi ttabel adalah 2,021. Dengan demikian, thitung lebih besar dari ttabel (2,587 > 2,021) dan nilai Sig.(2-tailed) berada di bawah tingkat signifikansi 0,05, yang menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan dari model TGT berbantuan Educandy terhadap minat belajar siswa. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran yang inovatif dan interaktif seperti TGT dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa di bidang matematika.
