Abstract

COVID-19 allegedly appeared for the first time in the city of wuhan, but in some discussions there were also those who disagree with this opinion because until now the origin of the virus remained unconfirmed. The transfer of the virus from human to human is very rapid in social groups that are actively engaged. Diligent in maintaining hand hygiene washing it with soap or hand sanitizer is a strategy to prevent the spread of the virus through the touch of a hand because it is suspected that the virus can be spread by contact between both hands with other people or objects that have been exposed to viruses or touches on the face. To measure the validity of the instruments used, the calculation of the reproducibility coefficient and scalability was carried out in this study. Whereas the reliability test used the calculation with Kuder-Richardson20 formula. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test is used to test the normality of data as well as descriptive analysis with a quantitative approach to conclude research. From the results of the study concluded that respondents with habits and high-risk activities are still classified as very little where about 1.5% of 133 respondents or more precisely only 2 respondents included in the category of "high risk". While around 27.07% of the total respondents or more precisely 36 included in the category of "moderate risk". Furthermore it was found that about 71.43% of the total respondents or rather 95 people were included in the "low risk" category.

Abstract

Abstract

Hybrid digital learning has gained prominence as an innovative approach to enhancing student achievement in motor learning courses within physical education (PE) programs. This study explores the effectiveness of combining synchronous and asynchronous learning sessions to improve students development and performance. In traditional PE courses, students often face challenges in mastering information gained due to the limitations of face-to-face instruction and the varying pace at which individuals learn. The hybrid model, which integrates real-time, instructor-led sessions with flexible, self-paced online learning modules, offers a more dynamic and personalized educational experience. Through synchronous sessions, students benefit from live interaction with instructors, enabling immediate feedback and the opportunity to engage in real-time discussions. Asynchronous sessions, on the other hand, provide students with the flexibility to review course materials, and complete assignments at their own pace, reinforcing learning outside the classroom. This dual approach accommodates different learning styles, encourages self-directed learning, and helps students develop cognitive of motor learning. The study examines the impact of this hybrid learning format on student achievement in motor learning courses, focusing on factors such as cognitive development and student engagement. The findings suggest that students who participated in the hybrid model showed significant improvements in motor skill performance and better retention of learned techniques compared to those in traditional, fully in-person courses. Additionally, the hybrid format promoted greater student self-regulation and allowed for individualized learning, making the course more inclusive and accessible. This research highlights the potential of hybrid digital learning to revolutionize motor learning in physical education, providing a flexible, effective, and engaging approach to developing motor skills and enhancing student outcomes in the digital age.

Abstract

Biomechanical Analysis and Motion System of the Quick Jump Stop Shoot in Basketball Abstract This study aims to analyze the biomechanics and motion system involved in the quick jump stop shoot technique in basketball. This technique requires the involvement of Newton's laws of motion and precise coordination between gross and fine motor skills to achieve an accurate shot. The study employs a descriptive qualitative method, where a video of the quick jump stop shoot movement performed by NBA athlete Ray Allen was analyzed using the Kinovea application. The results show that all three of Newton's laws—Law I, Law II, and Law III—play significant roles in each stage of the movement, from the ball's initial motion from rest to its launch. Additionally, gross motor skills, such as the use of the legs for body stability, and fine motor skills, such as hand control for directing the ball, work together to produce an effective shot. A deeper understanding of biomechanics is essential for improving shooting techniques and reducing injury risks. The study also highlights the importance of psychological factors, such as the ability to maintain visual focus (quiet eye), which enhances shot accuracy. Therefore, this study provides valuable insights for coaches and athletes to improve performance in basketball.
