Abstract

The science of grammar is one of the highest sciences and the most beneficial. It has a strong relationship and connection to learning Arabic language skills. To make it easier to learn and understand grammar without much difficulty is to know and learn its history. When a student has studied its history, it becomes easier for him to learn hard and many rules are hidden for him. From this point of view, the researcher tried to clarify the history of grammar and what transforms what grammar is, the reason for its inception, its setting, and a simple explanation of the emergence of grammar and the history of the most famous grammarians. The approach followed is the descriptive and analytical approach and the most important results of the research are: First, the reason for the emergence of grammar is the spread of melody and errors in pronunciation in general and the pronunciation of the Qur’an in particular, secondly the emergence of grammar is four phases, thirdly the two famous doctrines are Kufa and Basra

Abstract

Nizar Qabbani, a distinguished Arab poet from Syria, is widely recognized for his writing style, which, despite its linguistic simplicity, conveys profound meaning. Owing to this characteristic, his poetic works have garnered considerable scholarly attention within the field of Arabic literary studies. One of his notable poems, Asyhadu Alla Imra’atan Illa Anti, has frequently been examined for its thematic portrayal of love and womanhood. However, previous research has predominantly focused on the poem’s content, with limited attention given to the narrative voice—specifically, the first-person pronoun “I”—through which the poem’s message is articulated. This narrative persona, interpreted as a representation of the male subject, is portrayed as occupying a position of inferiority. This study aims to investigate the depiction of male inferiority within the poem. Employing a qualitative method, the research analyzes the text by collecting words, phrases, and sentences through note-taking techniques. The data are subsequently examined using a semiotic approach and content analysis, informed by Adlerian psychoanalytic theory. The findings suggest that the manifestation of male inferiority in the poem is closely linked to societal expectations imposed on men, particularly within the framework of patriarchal cultural structures.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to examine the leadership accountability within Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) under the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Merangin Regency and to analyze its relationship with teacher motivation. Methodology: Employing a mixed methods approach with a sequential explanatory design, the study integrates quantitative and qualitative data to obtain a comprehensive understanding of accountability practices and their motivational implications. The quantitative phase involved a survey of 125 MTsN teachers using validated Likert-scale questionnaires measuring leadership accountability and teacher motivation, analyzed through descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation analysis, for qualitative using Miles and Huberman. Main Findings: The results reveal that leadership accountability is predominantly perceived as good, with 94.4% of respondents categorizing it as good or very good, while teacher motivation is similarly high, with 96.0% of teachers falling into these categories. Correlation analysis demonstrates a strong and statistically significant positive relationship between leadership accountability and teacher motivation (r = 0.627, p < 0.01), indicating that higher levels of perceived accountability are associated with increased teacher motivation. Qualitative findings further show that accountability practices are strongest in administrative, reporting, and regulatory dimensions, yet less optimal in affective and humanistic aspects such as recognition, professional support, and responsiveness to teachers’ needs. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of this study lies in its integration of accountability theory with motivational perspectives within the specific context of Islamic secondary education, highlighting that accountability should extend beyond procedural compliance toward ethical, relational, and supportive leadership practices.
