Abstract

EEffective management of da'wah programs requires a structured and systematic approach so that the desired goals can be achieved optimally. Therefore, the application of appropriate management principles in every aspect of da'wah activities is very important. The application of da'wah management plays a crucial role in directing and ensuring that da'wah activities are carried out professionally. Every da'wah activity needs to be designed, planned, organized, and evaluated carefully to achieve maximum results. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design. Data were collected through interviews with informants, observation, and documentation. Data processing and analysis were carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that at the planning stage, PWNU planned long and short terms through coordination meetings, PWM used an activity timeline, and PW Al-Washliyah relied on the da'wah syllabus. In organizing, each organization has a clear and organized management structure. At the implementation stage, the three organizations focused on motivation and effective communication to encourage member participation. In controlling, the three organizations carried out periodic supervision to ensure the smooth running of the program. Overall, this study shows a high commitment from the three organizations in implementing da’wah management in a structured, organized and measurable manner in order to achieve maximum da’wah goals.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kontrol emosi mahasiswa akhir FDK cenderung kurang baik, dan hal yang menjadi faktor salah satu indikasinya adalah kurangnya komunikasi interpersonal orang tua. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji sejauh mana komunikasi interpersonal yang dilakukan oleh orang tua berpengaruh terhadap kesehatan mental mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasi, adapun populasi penelitian sebanyak 432 dengan sampel 209 responden yang dipilih dengan teknik purposm sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala model likert, melalui kuesioner itu maka dilakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitas untuk melihat keabsahan intrumen tersebut, lalu analisis data dilakukan dengan uji normalitas kemudian uji korelasi pearson, regresi linear sederhana, dan uji koefisien determinasi untuk mengukur hubungan dan pengaruh antar variabel. Pengolahan data melalui program SPSS 25. Hasil menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang sangat kuat dan positif antara kedua variabel dengan nilai koefisien korelasi,941, dan menunjukkan bahwa 2 88,5kesehatan mental mahasiswa akhir dipengaruhi oleh komunikasi interpersonal orang tua. Sisanya, yaitu 11,5dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi yang baik dan terbuka antara orang tua dan anak dapat memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap kestabilan psikologis mahasiswa terutama di masamasa yang penuh tekanan menjelang kelulusan.

Abstract

This study aims to qualitatively analyze the innovation of Islamic propagation (dakwah) that the North Sumatra Yatim Mandiri Institution empowers orphans and the poor through sustainable strategic programs. Based on data from in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation, as well as triangulation, the Yatim Mandiri Islamic propagation program is developed through five main pillars, namely education, economy, health, Islamic propagation, and humanity. Real innovation is seen in the establishment of the Insan Cendekia Mandiri Boarding School (ICMBS), the transformation of the Mandiri Entrepreneur Center (MEC), and the development of the Learning Center that integrates religious education, academics, and life skills. All of these have proven effective in increasing self-confidence, discipline, enthusiasm for learning, and independence of foster children. Islamic propagation innovation based on role models, intensive interaction, and creative coaching is a transformative, adaptive and relevant model for sustainable empowerment in various regions of Indonesia.

Abstract

Kabupaten Aceh Singkil memiliki prevalensi stunting tertinggi di provinsi Aceh pada tahun 2022, yaitu mencapai 34%. Rendahnya literasi kesehatan remaja menjadi salah satu faktor yang berkontribusi pada tingginya angka stunting. Salah satu pilar percepatan penurunan stunting menurut pemerintah adalah pilar peningkatan komunikasi perubahan perilaku dan pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui media center, peluncuran program pendampingan dan konseling, serta sosialisasi (penyuluhan). Kegiatan penyuluhan berbasis Participatory Action Research (PAR) dipadukan dengan pemanfaatan teknologi multimedia dapat menjadi strategi inovatif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran remaja terhadap pola hidup sehat. Melalui keterlibatan aktif siswa sekolah SDN 1 Singkohor, MIS Dinul Islam Singkohor, dan SMPN 1 Singkohor, Kabupaten Aceh Singkil dalam perencanaan, pengumpulan data, analisis, hingga implementasi tindakan, penyuluhan berbasis multimedia berhasil menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih menarik dan interaktif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa tentang gaya hidup sehat, makanan bergizi, serta kebersihan diri. Outcome dari kegiatan ini adalah lahirnya kader remaja sebagai duta kesehatan sekolah yang mampu mengedukasi lingkungannya.

Abstract

This research aims to formulate guidance and counseling modules to improve students’ responding activities when learning in class and to describe the level of applicability used by counselors. The method used was ADDIE model development. The properness test was done by three experts, and the practicality test was done by three counselors. The object of this research is students who have low criteria in terms of responding to learning. This research was conducted at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra, Medan. The instruments used were a questionnaire and focus group discussion (FGD). The data were analyzed descriptively. Based on these results, in general, it was concluded that the module developed was appropriate and could be used to help the students improve their responding activity when learning in class.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how a single parent with a democratic parenting style instills social interaction in their child. This type of research is qualitative research data used in the study are the activities of democratic parenting of single-parent men and women related to children’s social interactions. This research was conducted in Makmur Hamlet, Padangrie Simatahari Village, Kotapinang Sub-District, South Labuhanbatu Regency, North Sumatra. This sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are reduction, presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification. The results of this study show seven stages of the democratic parenting style, which include: agreeing to speak politely, using words such as please, sorry, and thank you, speaking in a low tone, using friendly expressions, mutual understanding, cooperation, openness, empathy, motivational support, and positivity. These stages involve agreeing to understand and support each other in decision-making, working together to maintain cleanliness and comfort, giving full trust to the child while correcting dishonest behavior, teaching the child to complement and embrace others, prioritizing life goals, avoiding toxic friendships, and encouraging independence and a sense of sufficiency while incorporating religious teachings. This research concludes that the parenting of male and female single parents has successfully educated children to interact well with their parents and the environment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Tiktok usage on the concentration of completing final assignments among students of Islamic Guidance and Counseling Class of 2021, Faculty of Da’wah and Communication, State Islamic University of North Sumatra. The research method used was descriptive quantitative with an incidental sampling technique. The participants of this study were 53 students. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression with SPSS version 21. The findings indicate that Tiktok usage has a positive and significant impact on students’ concentration in completing their final projects. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.581 indicates that 58.1% of the concentration variable can be explained by the Tiktok usage variable, with a strong correlation (R = 0.762). However, the impact greatly depends on usage patterns. When used in a controlled manner and directed toward educational or motivational content, Tiktok can serve as a supporting medium in completing final assignments. Conversely, excessive use without self-control tends to cause distractions and procrastination. Therefore, digital awareness and self-control are important factors for students to use Tiktok wisely in their academic process. Keywords: Tiktok, Concentration, Final Assignment, Students, Social Media  Abstrak Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan Tiktok terhadap tingkat konsentrasi penyelesaian tugas akhir pada mahasiswa Bimbingan dan Penyuluhan Islam Angkatan 2021, Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi di Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara. Metode studi yang dipakai kuantitatif deskriptif melalui teknik sampling insidental. Jumlah partisipan Penelitian ini sebanyak 53 mahasiswa/i. Data diolah menggunakan regresi linier sederhana melalui SPSS 21. Hasil studi menandakan penggunaan Tiktok berdampak positif dan esensial pada konsentrasi mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas akhir. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebanyak 0,581 menandakan 58,1% variabel konsentrasi dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel penggunaan Tiktok, dengan korelasi yang kuat (R = 0,762). Namun  dampaknya sangat bergantung pada pola penggunaan. Jika digunakan secara terkontrol dan diarahkan pada konten edukatif atau motivasi, Tiktok dapat menjadi media pendukung dalam menyelesaikan tugas akhir. Sebaliknya, penggunaan berlebihan tanpa pengendalian diri cenderung menyebabkan gangguan fokus dan prokrastinasi. Oleh karena itu, kesadaran digital dan self-control menjadi faktor penting agar mahasiswa dapat memanfaatkan Tiktok secara bijak dalam proses akademik. Abstract

Flash floods cause not only physical damage but also psychological impacts on children as a vulnerable group. Although various post-disaster trauma recovery programs have been developed, community service studies that integrate child psychosocial intervention, parental involvement, and local volunteer capacity building within a community-based recovery model remain limited. This community service program aimed to implement a community-based trauma recovery strategy for children affected by flash floods in the Aceh Tamiang–Langkat region. The program involved 35 children aged 6–12 years who were directly affected by the disaster. A participatory approach was applied through initial assessment, psychosocial intervention, psychoeducation, and pre-post intervention evaluation. Data were collected using a simple psychosocial observation sheet covering indicators of anxiety, emotional expression, social interaction, sense of safety, and child participation, supported by brief interviews with parents and local volunteers. The data were analyzed descriptively by comparing children’s conditions before and after the intervention. The intervention consisted of play therapy, drawing, storytelling, collaborative games, and structured group activities. The results showed that 74% of children experienced reduced anxiety, 80% demonstrated improved emotional expression, and 77% showed increased social interaction. In addition, the involvement of parents and local volunteers strengthened social support and contributed to program sustainability. These findings indicate that community-based trauma recovery can serve as a relevant, practical, and sustainable psychosocial intervention model for addressing children’s psychological needs in post-disaster contexts.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apa saja perilaku menyimpang pada mahasiswa UINSU dan bagaimana penerapannya untuk mengatasi perilaku menyimpang pada mahasiswa UINSU. Pembahasan dalam penelitian ini berkaitan dengan akhlak yaitu tentang kepribadian mahasiswa yang timbul akibat perilaku menyimpang, yaitu perilaku yang tidak pantas bagi sebagian mahasiswa UINSU. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah perilaku menyimpang yang terjadi di UINSU yaitu demonstrasi membolos saat perkuliahan, merokok dan sebagainya. Faktor penyebab perilaku menyimpang adalah karena banyaknya siswa dari desa yang baru datang ke kota sehingga kurangnya pengawasan dari orang tua dan orang terdekat. Selain itu, karena pergaulan yang salah, banyak siswa yang terpengaruh oleh lingkungannya dan melakukan perilaku menyimpang. Serta kurangnya keimanan atau kesadaran pada diri siswa juga dapat mempengaruhi terjadinya perilaku menyimpang.
