Abstract

Cryptocurrency investment is a high-risk investment instrument. Currently, the phenome-non is that while cryptocurrency investment is considered high-risk, but the transaction values are increasing. This study examines the determinants of crypto investment decisions: whether they are driven by rational or irrational behavior, and it tests the moderat-ing role of social influence on these determinants. This research uses a quantitative meth-od and primary data from respondents who are crypto investors residing in Indonesia. The sample consists of 124 respondents, including 95 male and 29 female respondents. Statistical analysis includes Outer Model analysis, Inner Model analysis, and direct effects, as well as Moderated Regression Analysis conducted using SmartPLS4 software. The results indicate that crypto platforms and financial literacy have significantly impact on invest-ment decisions, while herding behavior and FoMO (Fear of Missing Out) do not have a significant impact on investment decisions. Social influence is able to moderate the effect of crypto platforms on investment decisions, but it does not moderate the effects of finan-cial literacy, herding behavior, and FoMO on investment decisions. This study employs a research model that combines technological factors and psychological factors with exter-nal factors as moderating variables in crypto investment, making it important to contribute to the literature. This research implies an increase in awareness and understanding among investors regarding their investment decisions, enabling more rational choices, especially considering that crypto is a high-risk investment. Recommendations for future research include developing subsequent research models that can represent the determi-nants of crypto investment decisions using other variables.

Abstract

Corruption in village funds is a significant issue in Indonesia, consistently ranking as the highest since 2015. Village funds are intended to enhance government affairs, development, and community empowerment; however, problems such as regulatory misuse and incompetence among village officials persist. This study aims to investigate the impact of Community-driven Development (CDD) on improving people's welfare and enhancing the country's economy, while also analyzing the potential adoption of South Korea's Saemaul Undong program principles in Indonesia's village fund implementation. Employing qualitative methods, primary data were collected via questionnaires from eight beneficiaries across eight different villages, supplemented by secondary data from literature reviews. The findings indicate that CDD empowers grassroots communities to engage actively in their development, with the government playing a vital role in restoring public trust and addressing perceptions of power abuse. Furthermore, integrating Saemaul Undong principles—focusing on infrastructure, land reform, and human resource development—into Indonesia's village fund program can improve rural public service needs. This study fills a literature gap on CDD and village fund management, offering valuable insights for stakeholders and beneficiaries while addressing rising corruption issues.

Abstract

This research explores the impact of social media promotion, customer engagement, and marketing innovation on the marketing performance of MSMEs in Bali, with e-marketplace as a mediating variable. Using a sample of 200 MSMEs utilizing balimall.id, the SEM-PLS results indicate that social media promotion and marketing innovation significantly enhance marketing performance, while customer engagement does not have a direct impact. However, what distinguishes this study is the finding that the e-marketplace mediates the relationship between these three variables and marketing performance, strengthening the effects of promotion and innovation. The novelty of this research lies in the strategic role of the e-marketplace as a catalyst in the MSME digital ecosystem, where effective innovation and social media promotion can significantly improve marketing outcomes. This study is compelling as it provides new insights into how MSMEs can maximize the potential of digitalization through e-marketplace platforms to compete in a dynamic market.

Abstract

This study investigates how the quantity of posts, views, and reviews (KPVR) affects the perceived source credibility and information usefulness of User-Generated Content (UGC), and subsequently how these perceptions influence consumer attitudes and online purchase intention for cosmetic products. Grounded in the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), this quantitative research was conducted in Denpasar, Indonesia, targeting female consumers who have engaged with UGC on TikTok and YouTube. A total of 115 valid responses were collected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Results reveal that KPVR significantly enhances both source credibility and information usefulness. These, in turn, positively influence consumer attitudes and ultimately strengthen purchase intentions. This study highlights the vital role of digital interaction metrics in shaping consumer decision-making, offering both theoretical and managerial implications

Abstract

The entrepreneurship sector is one of the business sectors that become a choice for women. In the economic industry of Indonesia, women are actively contributing to small, medium, and large enterprises. The government of Indonesia supports women entrepreneurs to increase the economic welfare of the country. Unfortunately, Indonesia has entered a digital revolution called Industrial Revolution 4.0. One technological advancement today which integrates with the physical, digital and biological world makes fundamental changes to everyday human activities and life. However, this development era is still often hampered due to constraints for women to be entrepreneurs. This research aimed to know if the Educational Factors, Dual Role Factors, and Socio-Cultural Factors be the main challenges for women entrepreneurs. It used the Structural Equation Modelling method and AMOS 26 program. In addition, it obtained strategies to encourage women to be entrepreneurs. Therefore, it showed that the educational factor is not a main constraint and challenge for women entrepreneurs. Women have multiple roles as housewives and women entrepreneurs in the business field. However, this research results obtained that dual role factors are the main constraint for women entrepreneurs, especially in Desa Adat Kuta. Furthermore, improving skills to understand the Internet of Things technology, utilizing digital technology to improve productivity and competitiveness, utilizing e-commerce as a place for creating a business, and participating in entrepreneurship seminars or events supported by the government to face the industrial revolution were the strategies to encourage women to be entrepreneurs in Industrial Revolution 4.0.
