Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aims to find out how the strategy to increase the value of PT. Bank Central Asia (Persero) Tbk.,abbreviated BCA’s performance,  and to look for alternative strategies to maintain BCA’s performance going forward.Data collection techniques by interviewing informants, namely the branch head of Bank BCA Denpasar by an independent interviewer, were also observed with an undercover strategy considering the researcher was a full participant.  The analysis that researcher use is a qualitative descriptive data analysis technique with the Miles and Hubermanmodels.The results show that the team's role is huge, in this case team engagement that contributes greatly to the success of BCA Denpasar in achieving success in 2017. The teamengagement is a part of corporate values (BCA’s values) that are derived from the vision and mission of BCA. Management tries to overcome the previous obstacle of team communication that resulted in the previous team failed to achieve good value in a performance appraisal (performance appraisal of a branch office or the PKKC). Future research is expected to quantitatively measure significant or not implementation of strategy and decision management strategy to the performance either directly or indirectly in improving organizational performance.

Abstract

ABSTRACT                        This study will examine the usefulness and convenience of MIFX Mobile trading applications for customers and as part of CRM applications that can help the company grow in the long term and have a competitive advantage against traditional trading platform.            This research uses qualitative descriptive and purposive sampling technique by interviewing four informants who uses the application in their daily life. The data analysis techniques that were used are analysis of Miles, Huberman and Saldana by conducting data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of the interviews and the data that have been obtained is processed and verified by using triangulation system of data sources.             The results of this study indicate that convenience is the main reason that makes customers use the application, then followed by usability and security as well as referral features, which makes it easier to make an introduction to prospective new customers (Word of Mouth). These innovative features in addition to making it easier for customers to make transactions, also provide feedback to the company.            The needs of accurate information system and faster news should be adjusted with the growth of the information technology. Innovative Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategy is increasingly needed by companies to grow. Applications are one of the ways that companies can use as part of CRM where there is an ongoing interaction between customers and companies so that they are interrelated in creating a customer experience (User Experience).            In the future, this research study is expected to assist customers in making a better transaction and useful for companies in taking holistic CRM application approach which includes customer experience and customer collaboration for the future growth of the company and developing strategy for future growth.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis purpose of the study is to analyze the effect of transparency,accountability, responsibility,independency,fairness, work motivation, organization cultureand good corporate governance towards financial performance. This study applied a quantitative approach at rural banks in Badung regency. The method ofcollecting data applied questionnaires. The total population in this study were 52 rural banks located in Badung Regency. The sampling technique applied purposive sampling with the purpose of getting a representative sampleaccordance with the specified criteria and the data analysis techniques applied path analysis.The results of thestudy by path analysis defined the transparency, accountability, responsibility, independency and fairness have a significant effect on GCG. GCG has a significant effect on financial performance and work motivation affects financial performance. Organizational culture has a significant effect on financial performance. Company financial performance variable influenced by GCG, motivation and organizational culture. From this study, can be concluded that the application of GCG principles, work motivation, and organizational culture very influential on the financial performance of rural banks in Badung Regency.The limitations of this study are limited in examining the variables of Good Corporate Governance, motivation and organizational culture. There are other variables that can also affect the company's financial performance. Suggestions for further research is try to applying othervariables which able to influence profit management practices such as managerial ownership, audit quality and profitability to determine the GCG implementation effect.

Abstract

ABSTRACT             This study aims to examine the role of marketing and competitive intelligence in the industrial revolution 4.0, mapping the corporate strategy to be able to compete globally. This research use Grab as the research subject because of its ability to compete with Go-Jek in Indonesia particularly, and succeed in mastering Southeast Asia.               The methodology was descriptive qualitative by using purposive sampling technique, interviewing several drivers and corporate grab partners (Managing Director of Grab Indonesia and Communication Manager Grab CEO's Office), observation, secondary data from several TV station interviews, and other publicly available data. The data analysis technique was data source triangulation (confirmatory) and theory triangulation.               The results of this study indicates that Grab chose the expansion country by looking at the similarities that existed in the previous country, so that the duplication process could run easily, for example Grab Bike in Vietnam to be copied to Indonesian market. Grab understands to be accepted in a country, it has to understanding the needs of the country, because the needs are different in each country. To be able to compete with existing local products, the Hyperlocal and local partnership approach is carried out. Grab believes that only with approaches and local partnerships will make it easier to understand local needs and accelerate.               To accelerate the development process, Grab has made a partnership with several companies that have the same goals. Grab's ability to adapt the changes will requires the right talent whom understand the context, and is supported by the right and mature technology.               This research is expected to provide an overview of corporate strategy in entering global markets in the industrial era 4.0 by using competitive intelligence and marketing 4.0, and is able to compete with international companies. In the future, further research is expected to present a more in-depth analysis of marketing strategies as a form of corporate strategy implementation.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to find out the pattern of leadership of village heads in managing their village located in the center of Denpasar, and we know today is the industrial revolution era 4.0 that allows a village to use more technology applied to the system with the aim of facilitating work, communication or activities of the business unit's activities towards the economic progress of its people and to restrain the urbanization of its young generation to get out of their villages or to lose interest in agricultural, plantation, animal husbandry, sculpting arts and salt industry sectors, so that village officials need to manage such as managing a company based on the function function of the company, namely Human Resources Management functions, Marketing, Technology, Operations / production and finance accompanied by the application of Good Coorperate Governance. This study uses a qualitative method that explores the implementation of the function of the company's function towards village management to go to the modern village towards the village located in the middle of the city of Denpasar. Data collection uses documentation techniques and in-depth interviews with village officials. The data is then analyzed qualitatively by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and including theoretical and practical contributions

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to find out and analyze the effect of current ratio, debt to equity ratio, return on equity to dividend payout ratio and stock price. This study uses secondary data in the form of financial statements and stock price. The population in this study are all companies that had been registered in the LQ45 index during 2012 to 2017. By using the purposive sampling method, then obtained amount of sample counted 17 companies. The analysis technique used is path analysis. The results of this study indicate current ratio and debt to equity ratio have significant negative effect on dividend payout ratio. Return on equity have significant positive effect on dividend payout ratio and stock price, while the current ratio, debt to equity ratio and dividend payout ratio have no effect on stock prices. This study is expected to be a reference and material consideration of company management in managing the company and for investors in making investment decisions.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Currently payment using the QR code is one of the most important in mobile payment. Based on data from the Bali Provincial Statistics Agency in 2017, the highest number of cellular phone users was Denpasar Regency, which was equal to 80.88% while the lowest user was Bangli Regency, which was 53.26%. The purpose of this study is to analyze customer acceptance in the use of mobile payment specifically the QR Code and find out the strategies used in order to expand the reach of QR Code. The writing method is qualitative with interviews and documentation with the merchant QR Code and customers who make mobile payment transactions. The results of the study include acceptance of qr code in business transactions, soit can be concluded that the QR Code has not been accepted in business transactions and the provision of information still needs to be improved by implementing better strategies and socialization from the bank so that the program being launched runs as expected. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the banks regarding the programs that have been implemented, especially payment methods with qr code, can be used as a reference by leaders and marketing in banking companies in decision making and also as a guide for developing banking payment methods and making payment methods a solution future payment.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe concept of a market provider of room rentals or residential units using online networking information technology systems to increase the hotel revenue & also effective strategy to comfit offline strategy in the hotel industry. It is still unclear whether the implementation of e-commerce are work in all hotel strategy in the develop hotel revenue in the hotel industry. The purpose of this study is to analyze the fenomena average rooms rate (ARR) in Holiday Inn Express Bali which using standard operation procedure worldwide, International Hotel Group (IHG) which compare than other country still low especially in Asia Pacific area while location wise and company strategy is part of the factor issues & also price war happen in Bali market which need government policies in addressing the development of the hotel industry. This research used qualitative method that is constructive with literature review and documentation as the premier data source. The results of the study cover the advantages and disadvantages of the existence of online market places for Holiday Inn Express in Bali especially and in the hotel industry generally. This research of e-commerce is contributes to the hotel industry to generate & develop the revenue. To maximize the online source in generate revenue the hotel strategy need to hire special person incharge to taking care the tasking of online market needs to bush the hotel occupancy and also yielding with average room rate, while standardization of the quality of rooms or residences are also the important leased needs to be done to ensure the quality of the products and services offer as well, especially in online market place. Further studies can be conducted to analyze the sales & marketing strategy using e-commerce (online travel agents) which hotel should always pro active to make special offer to genereate last minute booking base on occupancy daily facing & at least one or two week  before promotion progress and also advance purchace strategy like minimum 6 months booking costumer will get special rate, rooms inventory monitor and maintain good communication with maintain relationship by consider their production ( like review top 10 production in a month) will feel the appreciation from all online agents partner are the best strategy to achieve company expectation.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to understand the investment policies of financial aspects based on risk management and to know that the investment studies are appropriate. This study uses qualitative methods that explore the implementation of risk management-based investment policies at Denpasar private hospital. Data collection uses documentation techniques and in-depth interviews with the board of directors and hospital finance staff. The data is then analyzed qualitatively by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.            The results of the calculation using the NPV method obtained a positive value of Rp. 463.592.397, the IRR method obtained an interest rate of 10,62% and the PP method shows the return on investment within 8 years so the project is said to be feasible. Regarding investment risks, hospitals have not implemented an optimal risk management process so that it has the potential to pose a risk of loss.            The application of risk management to investment policies is important even though these investments are feasible, especially related to the development of risk mitigation strategies. This study discusses the analysis of hospital investment policy from the financial aspect, so it is expected that further research add other aspects as a reference in assessing investment feasibility.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to understand every problem inside textile company in Bali island. In this 4.0 industrial revolution era, a textile company is forced to pay attention in all aspect in order to run company strategy. All issues like goods supply certainty, price, product variety, credit sales, regulation and digital marketing has been discussed in detail to make the leader understood about the difficulty and challenge inside the company. This research uses qualitative method and using SWOT analysis which explain in complete ways how strength, weakness, opportunity and threat in every issue that occurred in a textile company in Bali island. The writer used interview technic in detail way to collect data from all the informant in a textile industry chain link. The final purpose of this research is to improve textile industry in Bali island based on accurate facts and data.
