Abstract

Innovation and creativity are the main keys in increasing the competitiveness of Tangkit Jambi's pineapple processing managed by KUBE Mega Buana. Through the use of appropriate technology and digital marketing strategies, various significant outputs have been achieved. Pineapple processed products are developed with new variants that are more innovative, accompanied by improved packaging quality so that they are able to meet modern market standards. The application of digital marketing based on social media and marketplaces has also expanded the distribution reach, which was originally limited to the local scope, now reaching regional markets. Furthermore, strengthening halal branding developed in accordance with sharia economic principles increases consumer confidence and provides added value to products. The increase in the capacity of KUBE members can be seen from skills in business management, technology utilization, and consistency in maintaining product quality. These results show that the integration of innovation, technology, and sharia values not only encourages the economic growth of business groups, but also strengthens the position of Tangkit pineapple as a regional leading commodity with wider development potential.

Abstract

The halal certification obligation for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) products that has been set by the government through the Halal Product Assurance Agency (BPJPH) originally took effect in October 2024, now it has been extended until October 2026. However, most MSME actors, including KUBE Mega Buana in Tangkit Baru Village, Muaro Jambi Regency, are not ready to fulfill these obligations due to a lack of understanding of the certification process, limited information, and cost constraints. This service program aims to provide education and assistance to KUBE Mega Buana members to understand the importance of halal certification, know the mechanism and stages of submission, and be able to prepare the required documents independently. The approach is carried out through halal literacy training, registration simulations through the BPJPH siHalal system, and the preparation of a simple halal product management system. The results of the activity showed an increase in the understanding of KUBE Mega Buana members about halal certification obligations, the ability to identify products that must be certified, and administrative readiness in the process of applying for halal certification. This program contributes to increasing halal awareness, strengthening the competitiveness of Tangkit's typical pineapple processed products, and the readiness of MSMEs to face the implementation of mandatory halal in 2026.

This proposal aims to optimize halal-based pineapple processing through the empowerment of KUBE Mega Buana, with training in processing, halal certification, and marketing of halal products. The targeted outcomes are high-quality halal pineapple processed products, KUBE members who are competent in sharia business management, and the formation of a halal MSME ecosystem in Tangkit. Abstract

This study aims to achieve two main objectives: (1) to examine both the partial and simultaneous effects of International Trade (Trade Openness) and the Human Development Index (HDI) on Economic Growth in Jambi Province during the period 2014–2023, and (2) to analyze Economic Growth, International Trade, and HDI from the perspective of Maqashid Sharia. This research adopts a quantitative approach using secondary time series data from 2014 to 2023, obtained from the official website of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Jambi Province and other sources relevant to the research variables. The analytical method employed is multiple linear regression, supported by descriptive statistics and classical assumption tests. Data processing was conducted using EViews 12 software. The findings reveal that, simultaneously (based on the F-test), Trade Openness and HDI have a significant impact on Economic Growth in Jambi Province. In partial testing (t-test), Trade Openness shows a significant positive influence on economic growth, whereas HDI has a negative and statistically insignificant effect. From the perspective of Maqashid Sharia, Jambi Province is considered to have made notable progress in fulfilling the essential needs of its population. This is supported by data on economic growth as well as key indicators such as international trade performance and improvements in human quality, all of which align with Islamic principles

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marketing strategy of BSI Oto financing products in attracting public interest in Jambi City at Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Jambi Sipin Bakaruddin. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the implemented marketing strategy encompasses the application of the marketing mix (7P), namely quality products based on murabahah contracts, competitive pricing, strategic branch locations, promotion through cooperation with dealers and digital media, professional services, transparent financing processes, and representative physical evidence of facilities. The main obstacles encountered are the low level of public understanding of sharia-based financing and intense competition with conventional financing institutions. The proposed alternative strategies include intensifying public education, optimizing digital promotion, and strengthening partnerships with vehicle dealers. This research is expected to serve as a reference for the development of sharia financing marketing strategies.

Abstract

Abstract This study examines the implementation of Islamic business ethics among Muslim traders in the Upper Market in Muara Bungo Regency. Trade practices such as dishonesty, price imbalances, and the use of inaccurate scales indicate a gap between actual trading activities and the sharia principles that should guide Muslim traders. This study aims to analyze the level of understanding and application of Islamic business ethics and their impact on the sustainability of traders' businesses. The method used was descriptive qualitative, using observation, in-depth interviews with traders of various commodities, and field documentation. The results indicate that some traders only understand business ethics as limited to the prohibition of goods and basic honesty, while the implementation of principles such as transparency, fairness, trustworthiness, and the avoidance of gharar (unlawful acts). Practices such as not displaying scales, mixing goods, and discrepancies in product samples are still common. In contrast, traders who consistently implement ethics gain customer trust, more harmonious trade relationships, and more stable businesses. This study emphasizes the importance of ongoing education regarding Islamic business ethics to create an honest, healthy, and sharia-compliant market. Keywords: Islamic Business Ethics, Honesty, Justice, Muslim Traders, Implementation of Ethics, Muara Bungo Market.
