Abstract

This study was motivated by the need to strengthen Islamic character education among madrasah students, especially amid the challenges of globalization that often weaken the moral values of adolescents. The objectives of this study are (1) to analyze the principles of behaviorism in strengthening Islamic character at MTs PAB VI Helvetia; (2) to identify the forms of reinforcement used by teachers; and (3) to analyze their effectiveness. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method, through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the application of behaviorism principles has proven effective in shaping students' Islamic character. Stimulus-response practices are manifested in teachers' role modeling and religious habits, reinforcement is applied in the form of praise and educational reprimands, while conditioning is evident through religious routines and Islamic social interactions. The study's conclusions emphasize the importance of consistency, teacher modeling, and family support. The implications of this research are the need for synergy between schools, families, and communities in strengthening the continuous development of noble character among students.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses internalisasi nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam dalam membentuk karakter religius siswa di SMP Swasta Al Washliyah 42 Berastagi. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya nilai-nilai Islam dalam membangun kepribadian siswa yang beriman, berakhlak mulia, dan memiliki sikap sosial yang baik di tengah tantangan modernisasi dan globalisasi yang mengancam nilai moral generasi muda. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa internalisasi nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam dilakukan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu transformasi nilai, transaksi nilai, dan transinternalisasi nilai. Penerapan tersebut diintegrasikan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI), kegiatan ekstrakurikuler keagamaan, dan pembiasaan sikap religius di lingkungan sekolah. Adapun nilai-nilai yang ditanamkan meliputi keimanan, kejujuran, tanggung jawab, kedisiplinan, dan kepedulian sosial. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan peningkatan perilaku religius siswa, seperti terbiasa melaksanakan salat berjamaah, membaca Al-Qur’an, serta berperilaku sopan terhadap guru dan teman. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa internalisasi nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk karakter religius siswa secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

The nexus between corporations and politics in Indonesia is often characterized by the transformation of economic dominance into political influence, which risks undermining democratic principles. This study examines how metacommunication is strategically employed to establish legitimacy, shape public perception, and reinforce power relations between the Perindo Party and the MNC Group, its affiliated media conglomerate. The research aims to analyze the role of metacommunication in Perindo’s political strategy and its broader implications for Indonesian democracy. Using a qualitative case study approach, the study applies critical discourse analysis to the MNC Group’s media content alongside symbolic interpretation of Perindo’s political communication. Findings indicate that metacommunication through implicit messaging, symbolic repetition such as the “Mars Perindo” slogan, and nonverbal leadership imagery functions as an effective tool in projecting a pro-people image. However, the commodification of content, audiences, and media workers illustrates a shift of media from a public sphere to a personal political instrument, reinforcing media oligarchy and generating a democratic deficit. A parallel analysis of the 2025 SOE Law further demonstrates how metacommunicative framing produces divergent interpretations: the government presents it as efficiency-driven reform, while civil society perceives it as a threat to accountability. The study concludes that while metacommunication is a powerful strategy in corporate-political relations, it simultaneously exacerbates democratic vulnerabilities. Strengthening transparency, independent oversight, and regulatory frameworks is essential to safeguard accountability and democratic integrity in Indonesia.

Abstract

Pendidikan agama Islam berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter dan kecerdasan peserta didik, dengan fokus pada keseimbangan aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Materi ibadah haji di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) sering dianggap sulit karena kompleksitas urutannya. Metode ceramah yang dominan dalam pengajaran tidak efektif, sehingga diperlukan pendekatan yang lebih interaktif. Penelitian ini menganalisis penerapan metode demonstrasi dalam pembelajaran materi haji di kelas V MIS Qur’anic Character Ar-Rasyid. Metode ini memungkinkan guru memperagakan tahapan ibadah haji secara langsung, sehingga siswa dapat mengamati dan mempraktikkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode demonstrasi meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap urutan dan makna ibadah haji, serta mendorong keterlibatan aktif mereka dalam proses belajar. Meskipun terdapat kendala seperti keterbatasan alat peraga dan waktu, evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya kesiapan guru, ketersediaan media, dan desain kegiatan yang sistematis untuk keberhasilan metode demonstrasi. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi inovatif dalam pembelajaran fiqih yang lebih efektif dan menyenangkan, serta memperkuat pemahaman karakter religius siswa.

Abstract

Life in Jakarta reflects complex social phenomenon, especially related to social inequality striking. This research aims to analyze the dynamics of interaction Street buskers as social "actors" through a dramaturgical approach produce social constructions about the phenomena of metropolitan city life. The methodology used is a qualitative study with in-depth interviews and Participatory observation of four buskers aged 16 to 31 years. The research results show that street buskers apply different strategies on the front stage to build a positive image to attract audience, while backstage, they face challenges emotional and economic intangibles. Social stigma and uncertainty income is the main obstacle in their self-development. this finding emphasizes that interaction with the audience does not only function as a source income but also as a means to build meaning and identity. Thus, this research makes an important contribution to understanding public communication and the role of buskers in the socio-cultural context of Jakarta wider.

Abstract

Pendidikan adalah proses terencana yang bertujuan menciptakan suasana belajar untuk mengembangkan potensi peserta didik secara optimal. Dalam konteks pembangunan bangsa, pendidikan berperan penting dalam membentuk generasi yang unggul dalam pengetahuan dan matang secara emosional. Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2003 menegaskan bahwa pendidikan harus mengembangkan kemampuan dan membentuk watak bangsa. Namun, banyak lembaga pendidikan yang masih fokus pada aspek akademik, mengabaikan pengelolaan emosi. Goleman menyatakan bahwa kecerdasan emosional berkontribusi besar terhadap keberhasilan hidup. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk memahami pola pembinaan kecerdasan emosional pada santri melalui kegiatan asrama di Dayah Insan Qurani Aceh Besar melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Kegiatan seperti salat berjamaah, mentoring, dan interaksi sosial berkontribusi pada pengembangan karakter santri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembinaan berbasis nilai Islam dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pengelolaan stres dan empati. Dengan pendekatan holistik dan sistematis, diharapkan santri tidak hanya cerdas secara akademik, tetapi juga matang secara emosional, siap menghadapi tantangan hidup, dan berkontribusi positif dalam masyarakat.Education is a planned process that aims to create a learning atmosphere to develop students' potential optimally. In the context of nation building, education plays an important role in shaping a generation that is superior in knowledge and emotionally mature. Law No. 20/2003 emphasizes that education must develop the ability and shape the character of the nation. However, many educational institutions still focus on academic aspects, neglecting emotional management. Goleman states that emotional intelligence contributes greatly to life success. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach to understand the pattern of fostering emotional intelligence in santri through boarding activities at Dayah Insan Qurani Aceh Besar through observation, interviews, and documentation. Activities such as congregational prayer, mentoring, and social interaction contribute to the development of santri character. The results showed that Islamic value-based coaching can improve stress management skills and empathy. With a holistic and systematic approach, it is expected that santri are not only academically intelligent, but also emotionally mature, ready to face life's challenges, and contribute positively to society.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the implementation of collaborative governance in realizing the sustainability of the local MSME sector economy. The study used a descriptive qualitative method. Interview, observation, and documentation techniques were used to collect data. Data analysis is conducted interactively and continues until completion. To ensure data credibility, researchers used source triangulation techniques. The results of the study show that the implementation of collaborative governance has demonstrated its strategic role in supporting local economic sustainability. The collaboration that has been established reflects the existence of cross-actor synergies that are relatively effective, both vertically and horizontally, as well as in terms of partnership relations. With the local government as the main facilitator, the Ngawi MSME Association has strengthened coordination and empowerment at the grassroots level. Effective coordination, utilization of digital technology, and active involvement of MSME players are three interrelated key elements in determining the success of such collaboration. Cross-level and cross-sector coordination can improve the effectiveness of program implementation, technology utilization, expand market access, and increase the competitiveness of MSMEs.
