Abstract

Pembelajaran merupakan bantuan yang diberikan pendidik agar terjadi proses pemerolehan ilmu dan pengetahuan, penguasaan kemahiran dan tabiat, serta pembentukan sikap dan kepercayaan pada peserta didik. Dengan demikian, untuk membantu peserta didik dalam memperoleh ilmu pengetahuan tersebut maka diperlukan strategi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan tuntutan kurikulum saat ini. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui strategi guru dalam pembelajaran aktif melalui pendekatan saintifik dalam mewujudkan pembelajaran abad 21. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian fenomonologi dengan subjek penelitian guru kelas IV SD Negeri 111/I Muara Bulian pada tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang digunakan guru dalam menerapkan pembelajaran aktif melalui pendekatan saintifik dalam mewujudkan pembelajaran abad 21 yaitu dengan cara guru mengimplementasikan langkah pendekatan saintifik: Mengamati, Menanya, Mencoba/mengumpulkan informasi, menalar/mengolah informasi serta Mengkomunikasikan dan mengintegrasikannya dengan keterampilan abad 21: Kritis, Komunikatif, Kolaboratif dan Kreatif. telah dilaksanakan.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah sangat mempengaruhi keberhasilan pendidikan yang terjadi di sekolah. Pada penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yaitu untuk mengetahui kebijakan kepala sekolah dan gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpilan data melalui observasi, wawancara. Sedangkan subjek penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah dan juga guru. Dimana hasil penelitian yang diperoleh oleh peneliti pada penelitian ini adalah 1)  Kebijakan kepala sekolah yang disusun dalam bentuk sebuah program merupakan hasil musyawarah yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah wakil kepala sekolah, guru dan juga staf  yang berada di lingkungan sekolah yang dilakukan pada awal tahun ajaran baru, yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi yang terjadi di sekolah, saling terbuka dan menjalin kerja sama yang baik bagi semua warga sekolah khususnya pada kepala sekolah, guru dan juga staf untuk mewujudkan visi dan misi sekolah; 2) gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam bertanggung jawab mengrahkan, membina guru dengan gaya delegatif,partisipatif, konsultasif, intruktifi yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi dalam kepemimpinan dan pengaruh guru agar tujuan pendidikan yang harapkan dapat tercapai.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the response and character of the curiosity and love for the homeland of students in SD and MI with the application of the traditional game Congklak in the learning process. The research method used was a mixed method with a sequential explanatory model, with a sample of 60 students from both schools obtained by random sampling. Researchers used questionnaires to collect data and interviews as support. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing using the T-test. From the application of the traditional game of congklak, significant results are obtained that there are differences in the results of SD Negeri and MI Negeri. However, the response as well as the students' curiosity and love for the homeland from the application of the traditional game of congklak were in the good category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi bagaimana nilai-nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila diterapkan dalam lingkungan pembelajaran Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penerapan Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dari empat sekolah Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini di kecamatan Telanaipura yang sedang menerapkan kurikulum merdeka. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara semi terstruktur dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan metode Miles dan Huberman, sementara validitas data diuji melalui validitas internal, eksternal, reliabilitas, dan obyektivitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa enam dimensi pada Profil Pelajar Pancasila secara umum telah diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran. Namun, terdapat beberapa faktor penghambat seperti tahapan penyesuaian penerapan kurikulum merdeka di sekolah yang masih berlangsung, serta perlunya penyesuaian pemahaman guru terhadap proyek pelajar Pancasila ini. Di sisi lain, terdapat dukungan dari sejumlah sekolah penggerak dalam Ikatan Guru Taman Kanak-kanak Indonesia dan Himpunan Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan Anak Usia Dini Indonesia yang membantu sekolah untuk mengimplementasikan proyek pelajar Pancasila. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar untuk mengembangkan materi ajar yang lebih baik pada penelitian selanjutnya, khususnya dalam konteks penerapan nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning activity of class V students at SDN 131/IV Jambi City. This research is classroom action research which aims to describe how the Technological Pedagogical And Content Knowledge (TPACK) approach is implemented in increasing student learning activity through the PBL model in class V of elementary schools. This research was carried out at SDN 131/IV Jambi City. The data in this research was obtained by observation and documentation. The data in this research was analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The research results show that applying the TPACK approach in the mathematics learning process can increase student learning activity. This increase can be seen in the data analysis for each meeting cycle, where for cycles I, meetings I and II, it was 65.74%, for cycles II, meetings I and II, it was 82.22%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the application of the TPACK approach through the PBL model can increase student learning activeness in mathematics learning in class V at SDN 131/IV Jambi City. This is proven by the increase in student learning activity in each cycle by using the TPACK approach through the PBL model.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi pembelajaran aktif dan budaya baca di sekolah Mitra Universitas Jambi dalam mewujudkan sekolah unggul. Tempat penelitian yaitu SDN 197/IX Mendalo dan SDN 131/IV Kota Jambi. Informan penelitian adalah guru dan kepala sekolah. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Milles dan Huberman yaitu reduksi data, display data dan verifikasi data. Pengujian keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi metode. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu: 1) implementasi pembelajaran aktif di sekolah mitra  dimulai pada tahap perencanaan, guru membuat rencana pembelajaran, skenario pembelajaran dan menyiapkan media pembelajaran yang mengacu pada ciri pembelajaran aktif dengan menerapkan konsep MIKIR (Mengalami, Interaksi, Komunikasi dan refleksi) yang didapatkan melalui kerjasama dengan Tanoto Fondation. Pada tahap Pelaksanaan, guru menerapkan konsep MIKIR dalam proses pembelajaran. Pada tahap penilaian belum semua guru melakukan penilaian yang variatif, kebanyakan penilaian dilakukan dengan cara tes. 2). Implementasi budaya baca yang dilakukan sekolah mitra dilakukan dengan cara melakukan kegiatan pembiasaan di sekolah secara terus menerus, pemenuhan  dan peningkatan sarana dan prasarana untuk  mendukung pengembangan  budaya baca di sekolah, memberikan contoh atau keteladanan secara nyata oleh kepala sekolah dan guru, membangun kerjasama dengan berbagai pihak seperti dengan Universitas Jambi maupun Lembaga Swasta Tanoto Fondation untuk mendukung pengembangan budaya baca dan membuat klinik baca di sekolah.Kata Kunci: Implementasi, Pembelajaran aktif, Budaya Baca, Excellence School Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of active learning and reading culture in Jambi University's partner schools in realizing superior schools. The research sites were SDN 197 / IX Mendalo and SDN 131 / IV Jambi City. Research informants were teachers and school principals. Data were collected through direct observation, interviews and documentation study. Data analysis was performed using the Milles and Huberman approach, namely data reduction, data display and data verification. Testing the validity of the data using the method triangulation technique. The conclusions of this study are: 1) the implementation of active learning in partner schools begins at the planning stage, the teacher makes lesson plans, learning scenarios and prepares learning media that refers to the characteristics of active learning by applying the concept of MIKiR (Experiencing, Interaction, Communication and reflection) which obtained through collaboration with Tanoto Foundation. At the implementation stage, the teacher applies the MIKiR concept in the learning process. At the assessment stage, not all teachers have made varied assessments, most of the assessments are carried out by means of tests. 2). The implementation of a reading culture carried out by partner schools is carried out by continuously carrying out habituation activities in schools, fulfilling and improving facilities and infrastructure to support the development of a reading culture in schools, providing real examples or exemplary by school principals and teachers, building cooperation with various parties such as the Jambi University and the Tanoto Foundation Private Institution to support the development of a reading culture and set up reading clinics in schools.Keywords: Implementation, Active Learning, Reading Culture, Excellence School

Abstract

Dari hasil wawancara yang dilakukan dengan guru, ditemukan fakta bahwa guru – guru masih kesulitan dalam kenaikan pangkat. Kesulitan ini dikarenakan guru tidak memiliki keterampilan dalam menulis karya ilmiah, serta kebiasaan guru yang tidak pernah untuk melakukan peneletian. Untuk itu maka perlu dilakukan upaya untuk memberikan bekal keterampilan kepada para guru untuk melaksanakan penelitian, menulis karya ilmiah dan mempublikasikannya. Salah satu bentuk penelitian sederhana yang dapat mudah dilakukan oleh guru adalah dengan melaksanakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Dalam pelaksanaanya guru terlihat sangat antusias dalam mengikuti seluruh rangkaian kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan oleh tim pengabdian ini, hal ini karena dapat menjadi sumber pengetahuan dan mengasah kemampuan guru dalam membuat karya tulis ilmiah. Dari hasil observasi, diperoleh fakta bahwa guru–guru telah memiliki pengetahuan dan kemampuan dalam membuat karya tulis ilmiah yang berasal pelaksanaan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze an effect of the implementation of full day school on learning motivation of elementary school students. The research method used is a mixed research method with explanatory design. The number of samples used were 174 students. The research data were obtained by distributing a full day school application questionnaire and a student learning motivation questionnaire, as well as conducting interviews with students. Furthermore, the data were analyzed quantitatively with simple regression type and inferential statistics. The results showed that has been done, it can be concluded that the implementation of full day and student motivation in Elementary School is already in a good category. This is reinforced by the results of interviews which show that through the implementation of full day school it can have a positive impact, namely that student creativity can be more developed, achievement increases, and students can develop their talents and skills through extracurricular activities, which can then be developed. Make it easier for teachers to deliver material to students because of the time. which is old. Based on the hypothesis test conducted, it was found that there was an influence between the implementation of full day school on student learning motivation in elementary schools, with the percentage contribution of the influence of 61.3% to the dependent variable, and 39.7% influenced by other variables.

Abstract

Purpose—This research is important to overcome the low interest of students in learning mathematics in elementary schools due to the conventional approach, which is less interesting. By developing comics based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) that promote local Jambi culture, this research aims to create more interesting, contextual, and relevant learning and increase the interest of fifth-grade students in mathematics.Methodology- This research and development (R&D) approach uses the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), which was employed to design the mathematics comics. Data were collected through pre-test and post-tests, observations, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. These comics were developed based on a needs analysis derived from teacher interviews and student feedback, focusing on integrating local cultural aspects, particularly the Gentala Arasy temple, to make the learning material more engaging and relevant. Conducted during the 2024/2025 academic year at SDN 151/IV Jambi City, this research involved 42 students from two selected classes.Findings- The findings indicate that the developed PBL-based comic media was feasible and effective in supporting mathematics learning. Including Jambi cultural illustrations proved valuable in increasing student engagement, motivation, and understanding of mathematical concepts. The comic's visual and narrative elements helped simplify abstract mathematical ideas, making them more accessible and comprehensible for elementary school students. Feedback from both experts and students affirmed the comics' validity, readability, and overall effectiveness in enhancing learning outcomes. This study demonstrates that culturally contextualized comic media can significantly improve students' interest and achievement in mathematics.Significance- The developed comics offer an innovative solution for mathematics education and contribute to the advancement of local culture-based educational tools, providing valuable resources for teachers and students in Jambi and other regions.Keywords: Problem-Based Learning, Mathematics comics, Ethnomathematics, Jambi Culture

Abstract

The process skills possessed by students are currently still relatively low. This problem must be found to find out how the process skills possessed by students are. This study measures the skills of students in four schools. The purpose of this study was to describe students' process skills in each school and to determine the differences in the students' process skills in each school. This study uses quantitative research with survey research procedures. The number of samples is 140 samples. The instrument used in this research is a process skill observation sheet that an expert validator has validated. This study uses data analysis techniques in the form of descriptive statistical analysis tests and inferential statistical analysis tests. The research results on student skills can be categorized as good to very good. Good on all four indicators. Through research, it is also known that there are significant differences between process skills and there are significant differences between skills. The positive impact that teachers can feel is knowing how the process skills possessed by students in their schools are.
