Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the difficulties of students and the factors experienced by students in solving addition and subtraction problems of integers in seventh grade students of Ende Christian Middle School. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques using diagnostic tests, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the research were the eighteenth grade students of Ende Christian Middle School as many as 22 students who completed the diagnostic test questions, there were 5 students whose data was taken to conduct interviews. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. From the data from interviews conducted, it shows that in solving problems students do not understand the concept of addition and subtraction of integers, and it is difficult to convert story questions into mathematical models and the factors that cause difficulties experienced by students in solving problems are the lack of willingness to learn from within students. themselves, students are often lazy to learn mathematics, do not want to listen to the teacher's explanation when the lesson is in progress, students do not concentrate fully during teaching and learning activities, students are afraid to ask the teacher when they do not understand the material being taught, students always assume that mathematics is very difficult, students are not careful when working on questions.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are 1) to determine student activities while applying the GQGA learning model to comparative materials; and 2) to find out the improvement of students' mathematics learning outcomes on comparative materials. The type of research used was Classroom Action Research (CAR). CAR is carried out in two cycles where each cycle is made in three meetings. Data collection techniques are learning outcomes tests and observations of learning implementation. The data analysis technique used qualitative data analysis techniques and quantitative data. The results showed that the application of the GQGA learning model could improve students' mathematics learning outcomes and student activities. This can be seen from the results of the analysis of student activity observations in the first cycle, which is 51.5%, and in the second cycle it reaches 91.5% and the results of the students' mathematics learning test in the first cycle is 58% and in the second cycle it reaches 92%, exceeding the KKM. Therefore, the researcher concludes that the application of the GQGA learning model can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes in comparative material.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengarahkan guru dan memberikan pendampingan saat guru melaksanakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dan merampungkannya dalam artikel ilmiah yang terpublikasi. Metode pengabdian ini menggunakan pelatihan dengan tahapan yakni pendampingan dalam pembuatan proposal, membantu merancang kegiatan serta perangkat pembelajaran, pendampingan pelaksanaan PTK, hingga mempublikasikannya sebagai publikasi ilmiah pada jurnal nasional Ber ISSN. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian pendampingan ini menunjukkan bahwa bertambahnya wawasan dan motivasi para guru dalam pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas serta lebih memahami tahapan-tahapan dalam proses pelaksanaan PTK. Guru juga mampu menghasilkan Karya ilmiah hasil PTK serta publikasi pada jurnal nasional ber ISSN yang dapat digunakan sebagai syarat kenaikan jabatan fungsional. Kegiatan pengabdian pendampingan pelaksanaan PTK dan penulisan publikasi ilmiah mampu menjadi motivasi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan kompetensi guru.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of self-efficacy on the learning outcomes of grade VIII mathematics students of State Junior High School. This type of research is ex post facto, using a quantitative approach. The population in this study was grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Ndona. The sample in this study was 24 grade VIII B students. The instrument used is a questionnaire. Technical data analysis uses simple regression analysis. Based on the tests conducted, it show a significant influence between self-efficacy and the learning outcomes of grade VIII mathematics students at SMP Negeri 1 Ndona. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant influence of self-efficacy on students' mathematics learning outcomes. It shows that 61.2% of learning outcomes are influenced by self-efficacy, while 38.8% are influenced by other factors not discussed in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the types of mistakes made by students based on their respective abilities. The research method used is qualitative. The research was conducted at SMA Widya Bhakti, with 6 subjects in class XI MIA. The instrument used was first-semester report card grades for math skills, problem-solving tests and interviews. The data collection technique comes from the answers to written tests and the results of student interviews. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively with the steps of data reduction, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study can be used as an effort to improve students' abilities in solving contextual problems in the material of arithmetic sequences. Based on the research results, information was obtained that there were causes of student errors in solving contextual questions based on students' mathematical abilities. One factor that causes high-ability student errors is careless mistakes. Factors causing the errors of students with moderate abilities are errors in reading instructions in questions, conceptual errors, conceptual errors and errors during tests. Causative factors Factors that cause low-ability students' errors are errors in reading instructions, careless errors, application errors, conceptual errors, test errors, and learning errors.

Abstract

This research aims to determine students' cognitive abilities in solving contextual problems in class VIIIA mathematics learning at SMPS Kristen Ende on opportunity material. The type of research used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The population in this study were all students in class VIII at SMPS Kristen Ende and the sample in this study was class VIIIA, totaling 25 students. Data collection techniques use written tests and interviews. The results of this research show that the ability of class VIA students at SMPS Kristen Ende to solve contextual problems with opportunity material is at the cognitive level, remembering at 85%, including the high category, understanding at 79% including the high category, applying at 76 % is in the medium category, analyze is 94% is in the high category, evaluate is 23% is in the low category, and create is 69% is in the low category. The results of research conducted on 25 students taken as samples showed that 7 students or 28% had high cognitive abilities, 13 students, or 52% had medium cognitive abilities, and 13 students, or 52% had cognitive abilities in the low category. 5 students or 20%.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw terhadap tanggungjawab dan hasil belajar mahasiswa matakuliah statistic dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan rancangan Pre-experiment, yaitu One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh Dari data sikap tanggungjawab mahasiswa untuk uji-t diperoleh data = 2,39 dengan nilai =2,03. Dapat dilihat bahwa nilai 2,03. Maka terima Ha dan tolak uji-t diperoleh data = 2,39 dengan nilai =2,03. Dapat dilihat bahwa nilai 2,03. Maka terima Ha dan tolak Ho. Sedangkan Hasil uji-t untuk data hasil belajar diperoleh nilai 3,38 dengan nilai 2,03 sehingga diketahui bahwa nilai 2,03 yang artinya terima Ha dan tolak Ho. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran tipe jigsaw terhadap tanggungjawab dan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada matakuliah statistik dasar pada materi Distribusi Peluang.

Abstract

Static and three-dimensional models often used in textbooks or blackboards are usually insufficient to help students understand the concepts of three-dimensional space in depth. The purpose is to find out students' learning activities using Geogebra media based on Augmented Reality (AR) on spatial geometry material, (2) To find out the increase in student's conceptual understanding through the use of Geogebra media based on Augmented Reality (AR) on spatial geometry material. This type of research is called Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects in this study were students of class VII of SMP Negeri 2. This research was conducted in class VII of SMP N 2 Ende. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, tests, and documentation. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets conceptual understanding tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used was observation guidelines, and conceptual understanding of test data, for the criteria for implementing teacher and student activity guidelines. The results of the study showed: an increase in the ability to understand geometric concepts by 42% after the cycle II learning process was carried out. While student activity increased by 42%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of Augmented Reality media based on geometry can improve the conceptual understanding of class VII students of SMP Ende Negeri 2.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa pada materi eksponen dengan melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) di kelas X AP SMK Negeri 7 Ende. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini berangkat rendahnya kemampuan literasi numerasi, rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam memahami konsep eksponen, dan menyelesaikan soal kontekstual yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan nyata. Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dipilih karena dapat menjadi solusi dari permasalahan dengan memberi kesempatan kepada siswa untuk terlibat aktif dalam pemecahan masalah, berpikir kritis, dan kolaboratif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Instrumen pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, tes, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X AP SMK Negeri 7 Ende sebanyak 19 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan model PBL mampu meningkatkan literasi numerasi siswa, hal ini ditunjukan melalui peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam memahami soal cerita berbasis literasi numerasi dengan menerapkan konsep eksponen. Hasil keterlaksanaan pembelajaran siklus I mencapai 73,03% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 94,23%. Hasil belajar siswa ditunjukan dengan adanya peningkatan ketuntasan belajar dengan presetase pratindakan sebesar 63%, siklus I sebesar 73% dan siklus II mencapai 94% dengan kategori sangat baik. Dengan demikian, penerapan model PBL terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi numerasi siswa pada materi eksponen serta memberikan kontribusi terhadap kualitas pembelajaran matematika yang lebih kontekstual dan bermakna.

Abstract

This community service aims to increase the knowledge and competence of high school teachers in one of the 3T areas in compiling classroom action research (CAR) reports. This service method used training with stages, namely assistance in making proposals, choosing the right model in implementing classroom action research and designing learning activities and tools. These service partners were junior and senior high school teachers in Nangapanda Ende District, NTT. The instrument for evaluating this activity used a pretest, and the posttest was analyzed descriptively. This service showed that the teachers' insight increased in preparing class action research reports, and they better understood the stages in the CAR implementation process. These namely teachers were able to understand knowledge about CAR from the four indicators that were the focus of this training, including the steps for implementing CAR, the systematics of writing/composing CAR, success indicators, data analysis, and CAR implementation instruments. Implementing this training activity provides a good understanding of teachers' understanding and professional competence regarding the importance of carrying out CAR.Â
