Abstract

This study examines the influence of 3 major social media platforms—TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook—on hotel selection among Zennial travelers (Millennials and Gen Z) across the UK, Ireland, and Spain. As tourism in these regions becomes increasingly shaped by digital engagement, social media has evolved into a central driver of travel inspiration, evaluation, and booking behavior. Using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), this study explores how attitudes (shaped by visual appeal and influencer credibility), subjective norms (driven by peer interactions, likes, shares, and group discussions), and perceived behavioral control (influenced by accessible booking links, price transparency, and informational clarity) contribute to travelers’ booking intentions. The findings reveal that TikTok primarily drives initial desire and discovery, Instagram strengthens emotional connection and expectation-setting, and Facebook provides informational security that supports final booking decisions. Collectively, these platforms form an interconnected digital pathway that guides travelers from inspiration to confirmation across the UK, Ireland, and Spain. The research underscores the need for hospitality marketers to adopt cross-platform strategies that integrate authenticity, visual storytelling, and community-based trust to effectively influence the modern travel consumer.

Abstract

This manuscript provides a structured analysis of a community development initiative conducted by students of IPMI Institute, employing a mixed-method evaluative framework grounded in Shared Value theory, Corporate Social Responsibility principles, and Social Capital Theory. The program engaged a local orphanage through targeted interventions, provision of essential goods, structured educational interactions, and operational support, designed to enhance community welfare while strengthening student competencies relevant to contemporary business practice. Methodologically, the initiative was assessed using qualitative observation, stakeholder feedback interviews, and basic output metrics (for instance, beneficiary reach, resource distribution efficiency, and engagement intensity). Findings demonstrate significant gains in students’ applied leadership, cross-functional coordination, and impact assessment capabilities, illustrating the pedagogical effectiveness of experiential social engagement within business education. On the community side, the program contributed to incremental capacity-building, improved resource accessibility, and strengthened relational networks consistent with Social Capital development. The results underscore the strategic value of embedding community-oriented initiatives within business curricula to generate dual outcomes: enhanced student readiness for impact-driven organizational environments and measurable community-level benefits aligned with sustainable development objectives.

Abstract

This qualitative literature-based study explores the application of ergonomics, also known as human factors engineering, in contemporary hybrid work environments to optimize employee well-being and performance. Drawing on a systematic thematic analysis of 52 peer-reviewed publications (2024–2025) using NVivo software, the research consolidates knowledge across the International Ergonomics Association’s 3 core domains: physical, cognitive, and organizational ergonomics. Findings reveal that hybrid work has intensified ergonomic risks: improvised home workstations frequently lead to musculoskeletal disorders and fatigue (physical domain); constant digital connectivity and poorly designed interfaces drive technostress, cognitive overload, and burnout (cognitive domain); while inadequate organizational policies, leadership support, and communication structures exacerbate disengagement and blurred work–life boundaries (organizational domain). Crucially, the domains are highly interdependent: physical discomfort amplifies cognitive load, organizational decisions shape both physical and cognitive demands, and holistic interventions addressing all three domains yield the strongest outcomes. Supported by visual and quantitative analyses (word clouds, tree-maps, cluster maps, and dendrograms), the study confirms that ergonomics in hybrid settings must move beyond isolated physical adjustments to become a strategic, integrated system. Organizations that embed supportive policies, provide tangible ergonomic resources, and foster a proactive ergonomic culture achieve measurable gains in employee health, engagement, retention, and productivity. The paper concludes with evidence-based recommendations for employers, employees, and future research, emphasizing that holistic ergonomics is no longer optional but a core driver of sustainable performance and organizational resilience in the era of hybrid work.

Abstract

Online customer support agents need to use internet-based systems because their work requires digital technology which raises their risk of cyber-loafing. The study investigates how technology accessibility affects online customer service workers' cyber-loafing behavior through its interaction with job stress and job boredom. The research used an explanatory design with its quantitative method to investigate the topic. The researchers gathered data through a survey which selected 170 participants using purposive sampling. The researchers conducted multiple linear regression analysis after they had completed data verification and reliability assessment and classical assumption testing. The study results showed that job stress and job boredom together with technology accessibility created a relationship which had a strong impact on cyber-loafing behavior. People in digital workplaces access non-work internet content according to this study because their mental states and workplace conditions determine their online habits. The research establishes a theoretical framework which develops our understanding of employee behavior in digital workplace settings. The study results provide organizations with practical recommendations on how to maintain employee productivity through effective management of their workload and work design and technology implementation.
