Abstract

In a class there are various characteristics of students, some are active and some are passive, so to foster motivation so that students or classes that are in a vacuum can receive lessons on a par with the others, you must use methods that can foster student motivation. The objective of this Classroom Action Research are: (1) To find out and describe the implementations of the Games Method in Physical Education learning in class IV SDN Bubutan IV Surabaya. (2) To find out the impact and analyze the implementation of the Games Method in increasing students' motivation and understanding of the subject matter in Physical Education learning in class IV SDN Bubutan IV Surabaya. Student learning outcomes seen from the pre-cycle table, cycle I, cycle II, and cycle III showed an increase. This is evidenced by the results of student learning in cycle I showing an average of 70.21, the percentage of scores above 70 achieved by students was only 30%. In cycle II, the average student score was 75.65, while the percentage of 70 and above was 91%. From these data, it shows that the game method in learning can increase the interest in learning Physical Education in the material of basic jumping motion.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the level of motivation among 160 grade 10 students at SMK Negeri 1 Cerme Gresik during the 2023/2024 academic year when taking sports and health education, especially on the 5th and 6th days from 10.15 to 11.45. This descriptive study used a survey questionnaire for data collection, and all 10th grade students who attended physical education and health at the specified time were included in this study. The reliability test produces a value of 0.978, while the validity is marked with a value of 0.950. The results of calculations through quantitative descriptive analysis found the distribution of motivation scores - very large at 6% or 9 students, large at 23% or 37 students, medium at 38% or 60 students, low at 26% or 41 students, and very little at 8% or 13 students. From this, it can be seen that the level of motivation among the participants is quite high. These findings can help educators understand their students' motivation and provide insight for both students and staff in improving the factors that drive success.

Abstract

Motivation to learn is an effort that can have side effects on students and to move and carry out learning activities in order to achieve their goals and also get satisfaction from those activities. This research aims to determine the influence of family socio-economic level on the level of learning motivation in class X PJOK learning at SMA Negeri 1 Menganti. The population of this research was class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Menganti, totaling 380 students. Using quantitative correlational methods using simple regression analysis techniques. There are two instruments used, namely the Family Socioeconomic scale and Learning Motivation. The results of the research show that there is an influence of family socio-economic level on the level of learning motivation in class X PJOK learning at SMA Negeri 1 Menganti with a value of Sig. 0.000 < 0.05. The family's socio-economic contribution to learning motivation is 46.1%.
