Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Team Assisted Individualization dengan media papan kata terhadap penguasaan pengetahuan bahasa daerah Makassar pada siswa kelas V SD Inpres Tamalanrea VI Kota Makassar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen pra-eksperimental dengan sampel jenuh sebanyak 20 peserta didik (10 laki-laki, 10 perempuan). Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar dan lembar observasi, dengan analisis data deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pretest siswa sebelum penerapan model adalah 65,95, sedangkan posttest setelah penerapan meningkat menjadi 91,8. Hasil analisis uji-t menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (Sig = 0,000) lebih kecil dari alpha (0,05). Hal ini menandakan penolakan terhadap H0 dan penerimaan H1, yang disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari model Team Assisted Individualization berbantuan media papan kata terhadap penguasaan kosakata bahasa daerah Makassar.

Abstract

The problem of this research is How is the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning learning model on the ability to write narrative texts of fourth-grade students of SD Inpres Panggentungan Utara, Gowa Regency. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on the ability to write narrative texts of fourth-grade students of SD Inpres Panggentungan Utara, Gowa Regency. This type of research is an experimental study with a Pre-Experimental Design type with a research design used one group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study was all fourth-grade students of SD Inpres Panggentungan Utara in the odd semester of the 2025/2026 academic year and the sample in this study was saturated sampling of all fourth graders. The instruments used were assessment sheets, observation sheets and narrative text writing tests. Data analysis of this study included descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results obtained from the descriptive statistical analysis are as follows: (1) The average pretest and posttest scores are 54.81 and 70,74 (2) The average pretest frequency is 21.6% and the posttest frequency is 25.7% The results of the frequency analysis obtained: (1) The normality test on the pretest data is 0.085 and the posttest is 0.209 that the data is normally distributed (2) the results of the hypothesis test show a t count of -9.225 with a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning learning model is effective on the ability to write narrative texts of grade IV students of SD Inpres Panggentungan Utara.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low interest in reading fictional texts among students, which results in a lack of interest and participation in Indonesian language learning. This condition is caused by the use of learning media that are less interesting and less varied, so students tend to feel bored in reading activities. Therefore, innovation is needed in the learning process, one of which is through the use of digital comic media which is expected to increase students' interest in reading. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of digital comic media on the interest in reading fictional texts of sixth-grade students at Bontomaero I Elementary School, Gowa Regency. The type of research used is quantitative research with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of the study were all 17 sixth-grade students. Data collection techniques were carried out through administering tests before (pretest) and after (posttest) treatment. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics through the Shapiro-Wilk normality test and paired sample t-test with the help of the SPSS program. The results showed that the average pretest score was 55.59 and the average posttest score was 82.35, resulting in an increase of 26.76. The results of the hypothesis test showed a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05 so that H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of digital comic media has a significant effect in increasing interest in reading fictional texts of grade VI students of SD Negeri Bontomaero I, Gowa Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using digital book learning media on the short story writing ability of fifth grade elementary school students. This study used a pre-experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The study was conducted at SD Negeri 123 Banti, Enrekang Regency with 13 fifth grade students as research subjects. Data collection was carried out through short story writing ability tests, student activity observation sheets, and student response questionnaires on the use of digital book media. Data analysis techniques used included descriptive analysis and inferential analysis, namely normality tests and hypothesis tests. The results of the study showed that the use of digital book learning media had a significant effect on students’ short story writing ability. This was evidenced by an increase in students’ average score from 54.62 in the pretest to 86.38 in the posttest. The results of the hypothesis test showed that the t-count value was greater than the t-table, namely 15.372 > 1.782, and the significance value (2-tailed) <0.001 which was smaller than 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, indicating that digital book learning media has an effect on the short story writing skills of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 123 Banti, Enrekang Regency

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengevaluasi performa termal kolektor surya plat datar dengan absorber bergelombang untuk aplikasi pemanasan air domestik di iklim tropis. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada tingginya konsumsi energi rumah tangga untuk pemanasan air serta belum optimalnya pemanfaatan energi surya di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan eksperimental melalui perancangan, fabrikasi, dan pengujian kolektor berukuran 2 m² dengan variasi laju aliran fluida sebesar 1,0; 2,0; dan 3,0 L/menit pada kondisi radiasi surya aktual. Parameter performa yang dianalisis meliputi laju panas berguna (Qu) dan efisiensi termal (η). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kolektor dengan absorber bergelombang mampu meningkatkan performa dibandingkan kolektor konvensional. Efisiensi termal maksimum yang dicapai sebesar 75,8% pada laju aliran 3,0 L/menit, dengan peningkatan efisiensi sekitar 25,5% dibandingkan absorber datar. Laju panas berguna meningkat hingga 26,3%, yang menunjukkan efektivitas geometri bergelombang dalam meningkatkan perpindahan panas akibat peningkatan luas permukaan dan turbulensi aliran. Selain itu, sistem mampu menghasilkan energi panas rata-rata sebesar 7,2 kWh/hari, yang cukup untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air panas domestik dan berpotensi menghemat energi listrik hingga 1.898 kWh/tahun. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kolektor surya plat datar bergelombang merupakan solusi yang efisien, ramah lingkungan, dan aplikatif untuk pemanasan air domestik di wilayah tropis. Hasil ini memberikan kontribusi penting berupa data empiris dan rekomendasi desain yang dapat digunakan dalam pengembangan teknologi energi terbarukan berbasis surya di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the storytelling learning method on the listening skills of fifth-grade students at SDN 53 Sauleya in Takalar Regency. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design using a nonequivalent control group design. The subjects were all 30 fifth-grade students at SDN 53 Sauleya. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, consisting of 15 students in the experimental class and 15 students in the control class. Data collection used a listening ability test in the form of a pre-test and post-test. The results showed a significant effect between the use of the storytelling method on students' listening skills. This was demonstrated by an increase in the average score in the experimental class from 66.67 to 87.00. Based on the results of the hypothesis testing using the independent sample t-test, the significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) was less than 0.05, indicating a significant effect. This indicates that the use of storytelling methods can optimally influence students' listening skills. Therefore, the application of engaging learning methods such as storytelling should be considered as an effective strategy in influencing students' listening skills in elementary schools

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' ability in writing descriptive paragraphs through the use of puzzle media. The research was conducted using Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of two cycles, each including planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this study were 20 fourth-grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 10 Tallo. Data were collected through observation, tests, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative techniques. The results showed that the use of puzzle media significantly improved students' writing skills. In Cycle I, the average score reached 80 with 70% completeness, while in Cycle II, it increased to an average of 90 with 100% completeness. Additionally, students became more active and were able to organize ideas more coherently. Therefore, puzzle media is effective in improving descriptive paragraph writing skills in elementary school students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students' low critical thinking skills in Indonesian language learning, particularly in reading comprehension. Students still experience difficulty identifying main characters, explaining character traits, providing evidence from the text, and drawing logical conclusions. This study aims to determine students' critical thinking skills before and after the implementation of the Discovery Learning model and to determine the model's effect on the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 16/24 Bulu Tellue, Pangkep Regency. This study used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design and a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Twelve fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 16/24 Bulu Tellue, Pangkep Regency participated in the study. Data were collected through tests, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics with a paired sample t-test. The results showed an average pretest score of 42.50 and a posttest score of 75.00. This improvement indicates that students' critical thinking skills improved after the implementation of the Discovery Learning model. Students are better able to analyze the content of the reading, provide logical reasons, and draw appropriate conclusions. The results of the hypothesis test show a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 so that H₀ is rejected and H₁ is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Discovery Learning learning model has a significant effect on critical thinking skills in reading comprehension of fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 16/24 Bulu Tellue, Pangkep Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Think-Talk-Write (TTW) learning model on the ability to write descriptive texts of sixth-grade students of UPTD SDN 8 Barru. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design of the Non-Equivalent Control Group Design type. The research sample consisted of 20 students selected using purposive sampling due to the limited number of classes at the research location. Data collection techniques were carried out through writing tests (pretest and posttest) assessed with a standard rubric. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics as well as Paired Sample t-test and Independent Sample t-test. The results showed that the average posttest score of the experimental class (90.4) was significantly higher than the control class (81.5) with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. It was concluded that the TTW model had a significant effect on improving students' writing abilities because it facilitated cognitive processes gradually through the stages of thinking, discussing, and writing. The limited number of samples showed that the results of this study were contextual.
