Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil kesiapan belajar siswa SMPN 1 Kertasemaya pasca pandemic Covid 19. Kesiapan belajar ini diukur menggunakan indikator: kondisi fisik, kondisi mental, kondisi emosional, kebutuhan terhadap belajar, pengetahuan, motif, dan tujuan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan populasi siswa kelas VII sebanyak 237 siswa. Sample diambil menggunakan metode simple random sampling dan jumlahnya ditentukan berdasarkan rumus slovin, sehingga diperoleh 70 orang siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan wawancara dengan key informan guru bimbingan konseling, wali kelas, dan guru matapelajaran yang dipilih secara random pula. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pasca pandemic siswa cenderung tidak siap untuk belajar kembali di kelas. Hal ini dapat dipahami karena selama hampir 4 semester, siswa belajar secara daring/belajar jarak jauh baik melalui penugasan maupun melalui whatssapps grup. Secara umum kondisi fisik siswa juga perlu diperhatikan, mereka cenderung mudah sakit, lesu, dan sering mengantuk di kelas. Secara psikologis/mental, siswa juga belum mampu menyesuaikan diri untuk kembali belajar di kelas, cenderung merasa terpaksa, gelisah, da terkekang ketika kembali melaksanakan pembelajaran tatap muka. Perlu adanya upaya untuk meningkatkan kembali kesiapan belajar siswa dan pembiasaan baru pasca pandemic, sehingga siswa dapat mengikuti pembelajaran dengan baik.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the application of management functions in curriculum management at the senior secondary school level in Sleman Regencies, namely: (1) curriculum planning; (2) organization and implementation of the curriculum; (3) curriculum evaluation; and (4) curriculum development. The research method used is a qualitative method with inductive descriptive data analysis techniques and source triangulation to check the validity of the data. Data collection was carried out using observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and examining relevant documents. The research results provide an illustration that the application of management functions in curriculum governance will provide good results for the quality of education and learning. The governance is: (1) curriculum planning begins with a needs analysis and efforts to fulfill the needs of students both by the school in the form of an education unit level curriculum, and by teachers in the form of lesson plans/teaching modules; (2) the organization and implementation of the curriculum is carried out by distributing tasks and responsibilities to teachers and school staff, providing clear directions to students and teachers, facilitating learning activities, and creating an environment that is conducive to learning; (3) curriculum evaluation, involving regular monitoring and evaluation to ensure that the curriculum runs as planned; and (4) curriculum development, which is an ongoing process to ensure that the curriculum remains relevant, effective, and in line with student needs and educational developments.

Abstract

Peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran sangat penting untuk mengoptimalkan kompetensi guru dalam menerapkan metode pengajaran yang inovatif dan efektif, sehingga hasil belajar siswa meningkat. Selain itu penguasaan metode pengajaran interaktif   juga penting bagi guru dalam menghadapi tantangan pendidikan di era modern. Tujuan pelatihan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam merancang dan melaksanakan pembelajaran yang efektif, inovatif, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Peserta kegiatan adalah guru SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Seyegan dan SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Tempel sebanyak 30 orang. Pelatihan mencakup berbagai aspek seperti pengelolaan kelas, penerapan model pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, serta penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah, diskusi kelompok, dan simulasi, yang bertujuan memberikan pengalaman langsung kepada peserta. Hasil pelatihan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman guru terhadap strategi pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan berpusat pada siswa. Guru mampu mengelola kelas dengan baik, menerapkan diferensiasi dalam pembelajaran sesuai profil belajar siswa, serta memanfaatkan teknologi baik sebagai media dalam pembelajaran maupun evaluasi belajar siswa (menggunakan Google Forms, Kahoot, quizizz, wordwall). Dengan adanya pelatihan ini, diharapkan guru-guru mampu menerapkan praktik pembelajaran yang lebih berkualitas dan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Digital security plays a crucial role in today's digital era. As the responsible and safe use of the internet becomes increasingly important, encouraging digital security is essential, especially among children and families. By understanding and implementing digital security measures, every individual can reduce the negative impact of digital threats, create a safer and more secure online environment, and protect themselves in the virtual world. Digital safety education aims to provide students with education regarding digital security and tips for keeping personal and parental data secure. The target audience for this program is students at Texmaco Elementary School in grades V and VI. Evaluation of the Digital safety Education program can be measured using questionnaires and tests. Students' thoughts and experiences can be obtained through interviews or group discussions. The results show that the activity received a positive response. Some of the students understood digital safety and how to keep their data secure and controlled. Through digital safety education, it is hoped that students will be able to obtain comprehensive information to prevent themselves from virtual world crimes in the form of personal data hacking.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of transformational leadership, Management Information Systems (MIS), and organizational commitment on the professional development of teachers at SMPN Dayun Subdistrict. The research uses a quantitative correlational approach, involving all teachers through a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed through path analysis with SmartPLS. The findings show that transformational leadership has a significant positive effect on teacher professional development (β = 0.464; T = 4.962; p = 0.000). MIS also demonstrates a significant positive effect (β = 0.384; T = 3.151; p = 0.000), as does organizational commitment (β = 0.498; T = 6.187; p = 0.000). Organizational commitment acts as a strong predictor mediating the influence of transformational leadership (β = 0.788) and MIS (β = 0.808) on professional development. The structural model indicates that transformational leadership and MIS jointly explain 56.5% of the variation in teacher professionalism (R² = 0.565), confirming their dominant role in enhancing teacher professional competence.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra meliputi pengelolaan data asesmen yang masih bersifat manual, belum terintegrasinya sistem asesmen pembelajaran, serta keterbatasan pemahaman guru dalam memanfaatkan data asesmen sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan pembelajaran. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas guru dalam mengelola asesmen pembelajaran berbasis data melalui pendampingan pemanfaatan big data sebagai bagian dari penguatan manajemen pendidikan modern. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di SMP Muhammadiyah Sleman dengan melibatkan guru, tenaga kependidikan, dan kepala sekolah sebagai mitra sasaran.  Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan In–On–In, yang meliputi pelatihan awal, pendampingan praktik, serta penguatan dan refleksi. Intervensi dilakukan melalui pelatihan konsep asesmen berbasis data dan pembelajaran mendalam, pendampingan penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran, serta pengembangan dan uji coba Sistem Informasi Manajemen Data Asesmen (SIMDA Sekolah) dan Learning Management System (LMS) berbasis asesmen. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam memahami dan menerapkan asesmen berbasis data, yang ditunjukkan melalui peningkatan hasil pre–post test serta kemampuan guru dalam menyusun dan mengimplementasikan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis data. Seluruh peserta berhasil menyusun RPP berbasis pembelajaran mendalam dan melakukan simulasi pemanfaatan sistem asesmen digital. Selain itu, pengembangan awal SIMDA Sekolah dan LMS berbasis asesmen memberikan dasar bagi sekolah dalam mengelola data pembelajaran secara lebih terstruktur dan berkelanjutan. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan PkM ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam penguatan kompetensi guru dan kesiapan sekolah dalam mengadopsi manajemen pembelajaran berbasis data. Pendampingan pemanfaatan big data terbukti relevan dan aplikatif untuk mendukung optimalisasi asesmen pembelajaran serta peningkatan mutu pendidikan di sekolah mitra.

Abstract

This study aims to identify educational supervision principles that can be adopted by practitioners to address the specific needs and challenges of educational institutions and to enhance educational quality sustainably. The study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA approach. Eighteen articles met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed, while 306 were excluded. The review identified 15 key principles of educational supervision: collaborative, democratic, needs-based, adaptive, sustainable, participatory, scientific, continuous improvement-oriented, supportive, evaluative, humanistic, innovative, flexible, professional development-oriented, and accountable. Their application varies according to contextual challenges such as limited teacher competence, geographical constraints, inadequate facilities, and diverse socio-cultural backgrounds. In institutions with limited training access, needs-based and collaborative supervision effectively supports teacher development through mentoring and peer learning communities. In remote schools, adaptive and flexible supervision can be implemented through online platforms for observation and feedback. The findings indicate that effective supervision requires contextual sensitivity, flexibility, strategic use of digital technologies, and trust-based professional relationships. The study proposes three theoretical frameworks: (1) the context-sensitive supervisory innovation rule, emphasizing alignment between management practices and institutional readiness; (2) the digital relational supervision theory, integrating data-driven technologies with collaborative and humanistic relationships; and (3) the sustainable supervisory learning theory, conceptualizing supervision as a continuous cycle linking evaluation, reflection, and professional development to promote long-term improvement in teaching and learning across diverse contexts.

Abstract

Educational leaders increasingly face complex professional pressures that demand not only managerial competence but also strong adaptive and emotional capacities. This study examines how internal and external factors contribute to principals’ resilience by integrating quantitative and qualitative evidence through a mixed-methods approach. Survey data were used to identify shared perceptions regarding resilience resources, while in-depth interviews explored how principals interpret challenges and sustain leadership effectiveness in practice. The findings reveal that resilience is shaped through the interaction between adaptive meaning-making, spiritual faith, and organizational support. Emotional regulation and a clear sense of professional purpose emerged as important internal resources, while collegial collaboration and family support functioned as reinforcing external mechanisms. Spiritual practices were found to play a significant role in stabilizing emotional responses and supporting reflective decision-making during demanding situations. Rather than operating as isolated factors, these elements interact dynamically to sustain leadership stability under pressure. The integration of quantitative and qualitative findings suggests that resilience should be understood as a relational–spiritual process embedded in everyday leadership experiences. The study highlights the importance of developing leadership support systems that integrate emotional, relational, and spiritual dimensions. These findings provide practical implications for leadership development programs by emphasizing holistic resilience training that strengthens emotional regulation, collaborative organizational culture, and value-based leadership practices to support sustainable educational leadership.

Abstract

The implementation of elementary school supervision has undergone a paradigm shift from evaluative supervision to collaborative mentoring oriented towards improving the quality of education. In this context, supervisors are required not only to carry out control functions but also to act as professional facilitators who provide continuous support to schools. Therefore, it is important to examine how supervision is carried out in accordance with the mentoring cycle, as well as the challenges and strategies that accompany it. This study used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subjects included elementary school supervisors in the Kapanewon Turi, Pakem, and Cangkringan areas of Sleman Regency. Data were analyzed descriptively through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing to obtain a comprehensive picture of the implementation, challenges, and strategies of supervision. The results of the study indicate that supervision implementation has been in accordance with the mentoring cycle, which includes planning, program planning mentoring, program implementation mentoring, and reporting. Supervisory practices have moved towards a data-driven, collaborative, and reflective approach. However, supervisors face various challenges, such as the vast area of supervision, the large number of schools, and a high administrative burden. To address this, supervisors implemented adaptive strategies such as prioritizing mentoring, utilizing communication technology, and flexible time management. The implementation of elementary school supervision has been carried out in accordance with applicable regulations and demonstrates a transformation toward collaborative, professional supervision practices. Despite facing various limitations, supervisors were able to develop adaptive and contextual strategies so that the mentoring process remains effective in supporting the continuous improvement of educational quality.

Abstract

This study aims to synthesize a corpus of publications on knowledge management, higher education, and innovation through bibliometric analysis to understand research trends, outcomes, and impacts in these fields. The method employed is a quantitative analysis of bibliographic data sourced from the Scopus.com database for the period from 2013 to 2022. A search using the keywords “knowledge management,” “higher education,” and ‘innovation’ yielded a total of 196 documents. The results indicate that publications peaked in 2019 but declined during the COVID-19 pandemic from 2020 to 2022. The subject of “computer science” dominated contributions to innovation through knowledge management. Network analysis successfully identified four main research clusters covering the elements of e-learning, educational leadership, management information systems, and human resource management. The main conclusion of this study is that research on the application of knowledge management processes to create innovation in the field of education is still rarely conducted in Scopus-indexed articles, thus opening up significant opportunities for researchers to explore this topic in the future.
