Abstract

Pendidikan anak usia dini merupakan pendidikan awal yang di tempuh manusia untuk belajar. Kecerdasan adalah alat penting untuk belajar, menyelesaikan masalah, dan menciptakan sesuatu baru, salah satunya dalam kemampuan matematika yang berkembang secara optimal. salah satunya dalam kemampuan matematika yang berkembang secara optimal. Kecerdasan logis matematis sangat berkaitan dengan matematika karena lebih mengutamakan kemampuan berhitung dan logika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak penggunaan media bunga angka terhadap peningkatan kemampuan logis-matematik kelasdi TK Negeri Pembina 2 Jambi melibatkan 14 anak sebagai subjek. pada penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan Alat Permainan Edukatif (APE) bunga angka memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kecerdasan logik-matematik kelas B di TK Negeri Pembina 2 Kota Jambi. Oleh karena itu guru untuk senantiasa terlibat dalam kegiatan yang melibatkan logika dan matematika bersama anak, memberikan dukungan dan bimbingan dalam mempelajari konsep matematis, serta menciptakan lingkungan yang kaya akan stimulasi matematis.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to strengthen parent–child collaboration through the creative activity of making “Family Sticks” at TK Al-Ghifari. Using a participatory method, the program was conducted in three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. During the implementation, parents received material on the family’s role in early childhood education, followed by a collaborative craft activity using family-themed stick figures. The results indicate that this method effectively enhanced communication, emotional bonding, and cooperation between parents and children. The activity also stimulated children’s fine motor skills, language abilities, and self-confidence. Evaluation findings showed active participation and high enthusiasm among all participants. Overall, the “Family Stick” activity proved to be an effective method for strengthening harmonious interaction within the family.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of developing and utilizing school wall magazines (mading) as a medium for literacy, learning, and creativity enhancement among students at SDN 66/IV Kota Jambi. Using a descriptive qualitative method, the research involved the principal, supervising teachers, mading coordinators, and participating students selected purposively. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that mading management follows a structured process consisting of planning, content production, installation, and maintenance. The wall magazine serves as an integrated instructional tool, a supporting medium for school literacy programs, and an effective channel of communication within the school environment. Active student participation in content creation enhances reading interest, writing skills, creativity, collaboration, and self-confidence. However, several challenges remain, including limited time, inadequate facilities, and fluctuating student involvement. Strengthening management systems, providing training in writing and visual design, and adopting digital mading platforms are recommended to ensure sustainability. Overall, mading demonstrates significant potential as a cost-effective educational medium that promotes literacy, creativity, and positive school culture.

Abstract

Pengasuhan yang tepat merupakan faktor esensial dalam mendukung tumbuh kembang anak usia dini, terutama di era digital yang menghadirkan berbagai tantangan baru bagi orang tua. Berdasarkan pengamatan tim pengabdian masyarakat, terlihat bahwa orang tua murid PAUD Pertiwi II Kota Jambi masih kurangnya pemahaman terkait penerapan pola asuh, asih, dan asah yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan perkembangan anak di era digital. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk sosialisasi pengasuhan dengan tujuan untuk memperdalam pemahaman orang tua mengenai pentingnya pemberian kasih sayang (asih), stimulasi perkembangan (asah), serta bimbingan dan pendampingan yang konsisten (asuh) bagi anak usia dini. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi tiga tahap, yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan sosialisasi, serta tahap evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan, keterlibatan, dan kesiapan orang tua dalam menerapkan pola pengasuhan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan perkembangan anak di era digital. Diharapkan kegiatan ini dapat mempererat kolaborasi antara pihak sekolah dan wali murid serta menambah wawasan pengetahuan bersama dalam mendukung tumbuh kembang anak secara optimal.

Abstract

Literacy skills in young children, especially those aged 5–6 years, are an important foundation for their readiness to enter the next level of education. However, challenges are still found at the Pelita Doktora Bagan Pete Integrated Islamic Kindergarten (TKIT), Alam Barajo District, Jambi City, where some children have difficulty recognizing letters and associating them with sounds. Therefore, engaging learning media is needed, one of which is the explosion box. This study aims to determine the effect of using the explosion box media on the literacy skills of 5–6-year-old children. This study used a quantitative experimental method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample consisted of 15 children in group B2, selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument was an observation sheet that had been tested for validity. Data analysis was performed through normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing using a paired sample t-test. The results showed a significance value (p-value) < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results. The conclusion of this study shows that the explosion box media has a positive effect on the literacy skills of early childhood, as evidenced by an increase in learning outcomes after treatment. This media can be used as an innovative alternative to support literacy learning for children aged 5–6 years.

Abstract

Background: Uterine myomas, or fibroids, are one of the most common benign tumors that occur in women of reproductive age, with a reasonably high prevalence worldwide. However, rarely, potentially malignant uterine myomas can cause a variety of health problems, including excessive menstruation, pelvic pain, fertility disorders, and pregnancy complications. Objective: This study aims to analyze the relationship between menarche age and parity with the incidence of uterine myoma. Methods: Types and design of research the plan used in this exploration is quantitative exploration with a case control approach. Sampel berjumlah 138 responden masing-masing 102 ibu yang mengalami mioma uteri dan 36 ibu yang tidak mengalami efek buruk mioma uteri. Results: The test results measured using the chi-square test were obtained with p-value menarche age = 0.004 and parity p-value = 0.000, meaning there was a very large relationship between menarche age and parity with the incidence of uterine myomas. Conclusion: It can be concluded that the earlier the age of menarche increases the risk of uterine myoma later in life. In contrast, slower menarche may be associated with a reduced risk of myomas. Other factors such as genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors also influence the incidence of uterine myomas, but menarche age is one of the significant hormonal indicators of risk.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low receptive language ability of children aged 5–6 years at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Tembesi. The method used was quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design employing a non- equivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. Data collection was carried out through observation. The results showed a significant improvement in the receptive language ability of children in the experimental group after being given treatment in the form of digital storytelling, with the average score increasing from 13.66 to 27.71, while the control group showed only a slight increase from 12.88 to 13.77. The results of hypothesis testing using a t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that there is a significant effect of digital storytelling on the development of receptive language in children aged 5–6 years.

Abstract

Early childhood problem-solving ability is an important aspect of cognitive development; however, it has not yet developed optimally among children aged 4–5 years at TK Negeri Pembina 1 Kota Jambi. This study aims to determine the effect of using the Wordwall educational game on children’s problem-solving ability. The study employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects consisted of 11 children selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis was conducted using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. The results showed an improvement in problem-solving ability, indicated by an increase in the mean score from 28.18 to 37.63 and a significance value of 0.003 < 0.05. The N-Gain score of 0.60 was categorized as moderate. Therefore, the use of Wordwall has a significant and moderately effective impact on improving early childhood problem-solving ability.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of outbound games on the problem-solving abilities of children aged 4–5 years at TK Islam An-Nizham. This research was motivated by the low problem-solving abilities of children, as many children still depended on teachers or peers when facing challenges during play and learning activities. The research method used was quantitative with a pre-experimental design employing a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 15 children aged 4–5 years from group B1 at TK Islam An-Nizham. Through outbound games, children were provided with direct, enjoyable, and challenging learning experiences that enabled them to recognize problems, try various solutions, cooperate with others, and make simple decisions independently. Thus, it can be concluded that outbound games have an effect on the problem-solving abilities of children aged 4–5 years at TK Islam An-Nizham. This study is expected to serve as an alternative innovative and enjoyable learning activity in developing early childhood cognitive abilities, particularly problem-solving skills
