Abstract

The phenomenon of sexual violence against children shows an increase trend from year to year so it requires special handling to not cause psychological trauma that might affect their future. This was the reason behind the establishment of the Protection of Women and Children Unit by the government to handle cases relate to sexual violence which one of it is against children. By using a narrative qualitative approach, this research is conducted at the UPTD PPA Citra Tepian in Samarinda City to analyse the children trauma healing process psychologists must go through therapeutic communication which divided into 4 stages; namely pre-interaction, orientation, problem solving, and termination to get maximum results. This is very important fully help restoring a sense of security within the victim so that it will be easier for the child victim to re-enter and re-interact with their social environment. Therapeutic communication that emphasizes the interpersonal approach carried out by accompanying psychologists is believed to be an important key that determines the success of the 'trauma healing' process. However, it is necessary to pay more attention to the aspects of ethnicity, race, economy and culture of the victims so that the process can be more effective and efficient in the future

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of local green influencers in interacting and building public awareness of ecosystem conservation through ecotourism activities in East Kalimantan. The background of the study is based on the increasing threat of environmental degradation due to economic activities, so that an innovative approach based on community participation is needed to support environmental preservation and the development of sustainable tourism. Local green influencers, who actively use digital media to disseminate environmental conservation messages, are considered to have significant potential in raising public awareness and promoting environmentally friendly ecotourism practices. This research approach uses a descriptive qualitative method with in-depth interviews. Social media content analysis of green influencer accounts was also conducted to understand the message strategies and interaction patterns developed to promote conservation awareness. The results show that local green influencer communication is effective in building environmental awareness through educational narratives and active engagement with local communities. Influencers successfully create positive social change by encouraging public participation in sustainable conservation practices based on ecotourism. The credibility of the source influences how environmental messages are received and believed by the public. Factors such as the expertise, trustworthiness, and attractiveness of the communicator play a significant role in shaping public perception of environmental issues. The research results revealed that the role of local green influencer communication is an important force in creating collective awareness and supporting the development of ecotourism that is oriented towards ecosystem conservation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji peran komunikasi verbal dan non-verbal yang digunakan fotografer dalam praktik foto-running di Kota Samarinda. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, serta dokumentasi visual berupa unggahan media sosial dan materi distribusi foto. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari fotografer lapangan dan pelari sebagai penerima pesan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan analisis tematik dari Braun & Clarke untuk menemukan pola komunikasi serta konteks kemunculannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi non-verbal seperti gerakan tubuh, contoh pose, kontak mata, dan penggunaan papan atau properti menjadi saluran utama yang paling efektif dalam situasi ramai dan bising. Meskipun demikian, instruksi verbal tetap memiliki peran penting, terutama untuk menyelaraskan momen pemotretan melalui hitungan seperti “satu-dua-tiga.” Teknologi seperti Instagram, Google Drive, dan FotoYu tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai media distribusi, tetapi juga turut membentuk ulang cara kerja fotografer serta menimbulkan pertimbangan etis dalam publikasi foto. Hambatan komunikasi yang kerap terjadi meliputi jarak, kerumunan, kebisingan, kondisi cuaca, dan masalah privasi peserta. Untuk mengatasinya, fotografer memadukan strategi verbal dan non-verbal dengan prosedur koordinasi sebelum acara dimulai. Secara teoretis, penelitian ini memperkaya kajian interaksi simbolik pada komunikasi visual olahraga dan memberikan rekomendasi praktis berupa SOP pra-event, lexicon gestur, dan standar repositori digital untuk meningkatkan efektivitas serta etika praktik fotorunning di era digital.
