Abstract

ABSTRACT The teacher is one of the most important actors and is the spearhead of education. Teachers are required to provide services according to standards, so that they are expected to produce more qualified human resources. The design in this study uses a quantitative approach with the Causality method. The population used is all teachers of MA Muhammadiyah 1 Pakis Duren Banyuwangi with a total of 33 respondents, using total sampling. Based on the results of statistical test analysis using several tests, such as the F test, the results showed that the F value was 6.442 with a significance level of 0.002 or less than 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that Organizational Culture, Work Motivation and Work Commitment simultaneously affect the performance of MA Muhammadiyah 1 Pakis Duren teachers. Individually, the effect of Organizational Culture, Work Motivation and Work Commitment variables was measured using the t-test with the results that there were: 1) Not significant between the Organizational Culture variables on the Teacher Performance variable, 2) The significant between the Work Motivation variable on the Teacher Performance variable was 0.573, and 3) There is no significant difference between the Performance Commitment variable and the Teacher Performance.

Abstract

In the past few years, there has been a rise in private schools’ numbers. There’s also been a phenomenon where more and more parents seek for private schools, especially those who use international curriculum, for their children. The emerging of new privates schools brings tight competition which compells long-established private schools, such as Global Jaya Primary School, to be more vigilant in analyzing their strengths in order to rise above the competition and secures more students. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of location and curriculum towards parents’ decision to enroll their children in Global Jaya Primary School through brand image as the intervening variable. This is a quantitative study which uses the primary data from questionnaire to parents. This study uses total population sampling. The data is processed using SEM-PLS. The result shows that (1) location has positive and significant effect on brand image, (2) curriculum has positive and significant effect on brand image, (3) location has direct positive and significant effect on parents’ decision to choose schools, (4) curriculum has direct positive and significant effect on parents’ decision to choose schools, (5) brand image has positive and significant effect on parents’ decision to choose schools, (6) location has positive and significant effect on parents’ decision to choose schools through brand image, (7) curriculum has positive and significnat effect on parents’ decision to choose schools through brand image.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kidsstar School Makassar untuk mengetahui; 1) apakah lingkungan kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru di Kidsstar School Makassar. 2) apakah motivasi kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru di Kidsstar School Makassar. 3) apakah disiplin kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru di Kidsstar School Makassar. 4) apakah lingkungan kerja, motivasi kerja dan disiplin kerja secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru di Kidsstar School Makassar. Data dikumpulkan dari survei lapang menggunakan kuesioner yang dibagi ke seluruh guru dengan jumlah 35 orang. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode sampling jenuh digunakan untuk menentukan sampel. Data yang akan dianalisis harus memenuhi uji validitas dan reabilitas serta uji asumsi klasik seperti normalitas, heteroskedasitas, dan multikolinieritas. Metode yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda, dengan bantuan software SPSS. Metode pengambilan sampel adalah metode sampling jenuh atau sensus, dimana keseluruhan dari jumlah 35 guru dijadikan sampel pada penelitian ini. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel lingkungan kerja, motivasi kerja dan disiplin kerja secara parsial maupun simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru di Kidsstar School Makassar.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan bimbingan atau pertolongan yang diberikan oleh orang dewasa kepada anak, agar mereka memiliki kecakapan dan kemandirian dalam hidupnya, mampu mencapai cita-citanya, mampu beradaptasi dengan berbagai lingkungan, dan mampu menghadapi tantangan. Masyarakat semakin menyadari akan pentingnya membekali anak dengan pendidikan yang tepat. Kesadaran akan pentingnya pendidikan ini telah mendorong orang tua untuk lebih selektif dalam memilih sekolah bagi anaknya. Fenomena yang terjadi saat ini adalah masyarakat rela membayar mahal dan menempuh jarak yang jauh, demi untuk mendapatkan sekolah yang sesuai dengan standar atau kriteria yang mereka inginkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh brand image, religiusitas, dan fasilitas sekolah terhadap keputusan orang tua dalam memilih SMP Bukit Asam untuk Putranya di Kecamatan Lawang Kidul, Kabupaten Muara Enim, Sumatera Selatan. Pemilihan SMP Bukit Asam sebagai obyek penelitian didasarkan pada beberapa pertimbangan, seperti adanya karakteristik tertentu yang dimiliki SMP Bukit Asam, sebagai pembeda dari sekolah lain di sekitarnya, serta melihat adanya tren pendaftar yang semakin meningkat dari ta-hun ke tahun. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif, yang fokus pada pengumpulan dan analisis data numerik. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, yang disebarkan kepada 193 orang tua siswa sebagai responden. Analisa data menggunakan teknik regresi linier berganda.Teknik analisa ini bertujuan untuk mencari hubungan antara variabel independen (X) dan Variabel terikat (Y). Hasil analisis menunjukkan brand image, religiusitas, dan fasilitas sekolah secara parsial dan simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan orang tua dalam memilih sekolah”.

Abstract

Competition in educational institutions is currently increasingly fierce, so student satisfaction and Word of mouth to attract prospective new students are of particular concern in order to achieve the development and existence of the institution. The aim of this research is to determine the direct and indirect influence of service quality and campus image on Word of mouth through student satisfaction as an intervening variable.The research was conducted on students of the Indonesian Institute of Business and Technology (INSTIKI) Denpasar, Bali. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was a questionnaire distributed to 85 respondents from the class of 2021 (72 students from the IT Faculty and 13 students from the SK Faculty). The collected quantitative data was analyzed using SEM-PLS analysis using SmartPLS-4.0.9.8 software. The research results show that service quality and campus image have a direct and indirect positive and significant effect on Word of mouth through student satisfaction as an intervening variable. Meanwhile, student satisfaction acts as partial mediation.
