Abstract

This research is motivated by the low student learning outcomes because the learning media used by educators have not been effective. This is compounded by the lack of information and the teacher has not used Flip Chart media in Fine Arts learning. The solution that can be offered to overcome this problem is by applying Flip Chart media. This study aims to determine the learning outcomes of students taught with Flip Chart learning media with students taught without Flip Chart learning media in SMP N 2 Pancung Soal Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan 2019/2020. This type of research is a Quasi Experimental research with Posttetsonly Control Group research design. The population of this study were all students of class VIII in 2019/2020 Academic Year totaling 150 people. The sampling technique in the form of simple random sampling with selected samples is students of class VIII2 as the Experiment class and class VIII1 as the control class which is determined first through the normality test, homogeneity test, and variance analysis. Based on the results of the study obtained an average value of student learning outcomes for the Experiment class is 87.00 and for the control class is 76.00. In this study a hypothesis test was used: tarithmetic> ttable then H0 was rejected and Hi was accepted. After testing the hypothesis with one-way t-test obtained tarithmetic> ttable (8,610> 2.04523) then the research hypothesis is accepted. It can be concluded that student learning outcomes taught by Flip Chart Learning Media are higher than  student learning outcomes taught without Flip Chart learning media at SMP N 2 Pancung Soal Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan.Keywords: student learning outcomes, Flip Chart media

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran video berbasis Prezi dalam pembelajaran Seni Rupa materi Menggambar Ragam Hias pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Padang. Penelitian ini meupakan penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (R & D). Adapun model yang dipakai yaitu pengembangan Borg & Gall.  Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hasil penilaian dari pakar bahasa yaitu 94,3%, hasil penilaian dari pakar materi yaitu 93,3%. Hasil penilaian dari pakar media yaitu 94 % dan hasil penilaian darii guru yaitu  98 %. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media video berbasis Prezi sangaat layak digunakan. Uji coba lapangan utama pada angket siswa diperoleh 86% sedangkan pada hasil test diperoleh 84%. Uji coba operasional pada angket siswa diperoleh  93,35%, sedangkan pada hasil test diperoleh 91,2%. Setelah dikonversikan dengan skala penilaian menunjukkan media video berbasis Prezi  sangat layak digunakan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media video berbasis Prezi pada pelajaran Seni Rupa materi Menggambar Ragam Hias dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan sangat layak digunakan sebagai media belajar untuk siswa dan guru di SMP Negerii 6 Padang.

Abstract

This study im to find out and examine more deeply how the design, workmanship techniques and tools and materials, screen printing coloring, then what colors are used in Tangkelek, whose information is not yet widely known to the public.This research included in qualitative descriptive research, the subject of this study included the owner of Tangkelek or founder of Tangkelek, and employees of Tangkelek. Furthermore, the object observed, namely screen printing on the Tangkelek Store itself. The method used to collect data is the method of observation, documentation, and interviews.The results of the study show that the tangelek design emphasizes the proverbial word of Minang, the technique used in Tangkelek screen printing still done manually by using monil and lighting, the colors found on the screen printing of these Tangkelek store vary from basic colors, red, blue, and yellow,Keywords: Design, Work Technique, and Screen Printing.

Abstract

Older generation Minangkabau remember the various pamenan (game)I've ever played. There are some traditional games such Minangkabau; SipakRago, Ulu Ambek, Alang-alang (Darek and Pasisia), Randai (Silek), Buru Babi, and there are many traditional games scattered in West Sumatra. Game scattered in various places in Minangkabau. Perhaps hundreds, have the same role of play but different naming, play from one place to another.Traditional games were loaded philosophy of life, a variety of messagesand teachings of manners, morals and behavior. Through this game one can realize that he was not living alone in the community, and if there is a problem should be discussed in advance. By the very nature of traditional games played in groups, it can form the characters themselves are spirited leadership, togetherness, and high social spirit.Creation aims to visualize how Sipak Rago today are marginalized bymodernisation, in addition to the creation aims back to remember about the meaning contained in Sipak Rago very useful for anyone.Furthermore, techniques or methods used in making this thesis isserigraphy technique, which is a technique that is produced from silk stretch open to the plane of the mold is then filtered by using Squez made of rubber material as a tool for transferring ink from the screen to the print range. In the activity and the process of making the work is done, gave birth to the work of different, but each piece has a relationship with one another which are held together because they have a theme, an idea, a similar concep.After conducting a series of lengthy process of creating it creates tengraphic art with serigraphy techniques on paper are: 1) Urang-urang Sawah, 2) Rago Usang, 3) Ditepi Kehancuran, 4) Tergantingan, 5) Trophy, 6) Dirantai, 7) The End, 8) Basamo, 9) Perjuangan, 10) Digemari. Through the works of graphic art themed Sipak Rago, is expected to art students after seeing the work of authors can be uplifting in the work of art, can be used as a reference to create graphic art work better in the future.Kata Kunci: Tergantikan, Basamo, Dirantai

Abstract

This final paper aims to visualize the forest in graphic artwork. almost every forest country has always been a hot topic of conversation. Forest destruction is also always a conversation that has never been discussed. Forest is the breath of life of the earth. Forest is the lungs of the earth, if the forest dies then the earth must die including humans who inhabit the earth. The method of creation of this final paper uses five stages: preparation stage, elaboration stage, synthesis stage, and concept realization phase begins sketching, sketching move, tool and material preparation, process of work and finishing. Abstract

The making of the final work of graphic art, this serigraphy technique is to visualize the uniqueness of the swallow, including the lifestyle and anatomy with serigraphy techniques using several color prints besides that it is also useful for pairing concepts and techniques for working in graphic arts. There are several stages in carrying out this final work including preparation, elaboration, synthesis, concept realization and completion stages. Thus, ten graphic art works that visualize the various uniqueness of swallow birds with the following titles: first "Tersesat", second "Lurus", third "Pulang", fourth "Keraguan", fifth "Sekawan", sixth "Romantis", seventh "Kelompok", the eighth "Bebas", the ninth "Berselisih" and ten "Hidup".Kata Kunci: Sipak Rago, permaianan anak nagari, Seni Grafis.

Abstract

The Effect of Giving Verbal and Non-Verbal Reinforcement on the Learning Outcomes of Visual Art Student in Class VIII at SMP Negeri 24 Padang. The Purpose of This research is to describe the differences studen learning outcomes who do not use verbal and non-verbal reinforcement with the learning outcomes of students who did not use verbal and non-verbal reinforcement in class VIII SMP Negeri 24 Padang. The kind of research was quantitative approach by using quasi eksperiment method and purposive sampling as a sampling technique. In this study there was a higher average post-test result compared to the control class that did not use verbal and non verbal reinforcement, namely 85.62 in the eksperimental class and 76.78 in the control class . Based on the t-test, the results obtained tcount = 9.287 and ttable = 2.045 at the alpha level = 0.05. The researchresult obtained show that there is a difference. This study aims to implement verbal and non-verbal reinforcement in education to give appreciation for student performance in the form of rewards.Keywords: Strengthening, Verbal, Non Verbal, Learning Outcomes, Fine Art

Abstract

The creative concept of the Padang State University (UNP) mitigation shelter map building icon is an explanation of how a visual form of an icon begins, namely based on thoughts that are summarized into a form of concept both verbally and visually. The purpose of this design is to become a reference for work for students, especially Visual Communication Design students, so that they know what processes must be carried out in a creative program before reaching the final design stage, so that the output produced does not only rely on aesthetic values, but also requirements. meaning because it is designed according to the target audience. The design method used is the Research and Design (R&D) method by approaching the visual language, target audience and creative strategies. The result of the creation is in the form of a standard manual book which is a reference for the creation of UNP mitigation shelter building icons that are simple and aesthetic in value but also require meaning because they can represent verbal, nonverbal and visual messages effectively and communicatively according to the target audience.Keywords: concept, creative strategy, design, icon. AbstrakKonsep kreatif ikon bangunan peta shelter mitigasi Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) merupakan pemaparan mengenai bagaimana sebuah bentuk visual ikon dimulai, yakni berdasarkan pemikiran-pemikiran yang dirangkum menjadi sebuah bentuk konsep baik itu secara verbal maupun visual. Metode perancangan yang digunakan adalah metode Research and Design (R&D) dengan melakukan pendekatan terhadap bahasa visual, target audiens serta strategi kreatifnya. Abstract

Tujuan penciptaan karya ini adalah untuk memvisualisasikan kesenian bela diri yaitu pencak silat (silek). Gerakan silek pada saat ini memiliki sifat dinamis. Gerakan dinamis pada Bela diri pencak silat (silek) cendrung  kurang diminati atau kurang diperhatikan oleh generasi  muda sehingga hal ini menjadi sumber ide penciptakan dan pokok permasalahan bagi penulis untuk melahirkan sepuluh karya seni grafis, relief print (linolium cut) selain itu karya ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kepekaan terhadap generasi muda, masyarakat, dan pemerintah, untuk lebih memperhatikan seni bela diri. Metode penciptaan ini kerya menggunakan lima tahap yaitu dalam mewujudkan bentuk melalui kombinasi, garis, bidang, ruang, warna, gelap terang, bentuk dan keseimbangan sehingga menghasilkan karya seni grafis yang menarik. Dalam karya seni grafis yang penulis ciptakan terdapat sepuluh karya dengan judul : Salam, Sambah lega, Gelek I, Gelek II, Tagak jo Langkah, Simpia, Tagak bajelo I, Tagak bajelo II, Sudu, Sambah .
