Abstract

In the industrial revolution 4.0., autonomous learning is considered as a desirable goal in English language teaching and learning in Indonesia. The movement towards learner-centered approaches has resulted in more emphasis on the benefits of learner autonomy in the success of English language teaching and learning. The research examines the capabilities of vocational secondary English teachers in Probolinggo, East java, Indonesia to engage students’ autonomous learning. The term capabilities refers to substantive freedom or opportunities that English teachers hold to do and to be a certain thing that they consider valuable. Data for the study were generated through interviews with twenty vocational secondary English teachers across remote area, urban area, Pesantren and state vocational secondary school. English Teachers were interviewed by autonomous learning issues based on their knowledge and understanding of these issues. Further, data were obtained from classroom observations and analysis of curriculum documents which include the national curriculum framework of Indonesia, English teachers’ syllabi and lesson plans. Data analysis is qualitative. The study revealed that vocational secondary English teachers in Probolinggo are still problematic and facing several challenging particularly in view of autonomous learning which was centered on traditional didactic and teacher-directed modes of delivery. This indicates that Indonesian vocational secondary English teachers in Probolinggo are not effectively engaged in autonomous learning in spite of their concerted efforts to do so.

Abstract

This article looks critically the comparison between English and French Gender. The problem that will be discussed in this article is: What kind of similarities and differences do they have in gender, especially in distinguishing male from female persons? The significance of the study are to get inputs on gender in English and French in order to improve their ability in understanding gender from both languages . One of the characteristics of Indo-European language is gender, which classifies nouns to express sex distinctions. The following discussion will deal with two forms of gender, natural and grammatical gender, and the ways of showing gender. From the linguistics analysis of English and French gender that has been done in this article and the comparison between them, it can be concluded that both languages have some differences and similarities in the application of gender. The differences are focused on the kinds of gender used, English uses natural gender while French uses grammatical gender. The use of grammatical gender makes French does not have neuter gender. So the inanimate objects are considered to have gender, masculine or feminine, and the ways of showing their gender are afforded by the use of article, le for masculine and la for feminine.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pelaksanaan tradisi pedak api dan nilai-nilai karakter yang terkandung di dalamnya pada Masyarakat sasak di Dusun salut. Jenis pendekatan yang digunakan yakni pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yakni wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, menggunakan sumber data informan penelitian. Sementara analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan Kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: proses pelaksanaan tradisi pedak api (1) Tahap persiapan pedak api meliputi dan penyiapan alat dan bahan; ( 2) Tahap pelaksanaan meliputi doa, mengayunkan bayi di atas perapian, menyiram perapian, menggendongkan bayi ke Sembilan anggota keluarga, memasangkan gelang, sembek; (3) Tahap penutup meliputi begibung dan pemberian seserahan (andang-andang). Terdapat nilai-nilai karakter dalam proses pelaksanaan tradisi pedak api: (1) Nilai Religius, yang ditandai dengan pembacaan doa-doa saat pembukaan acara dan setiap kegiatan saat proses pelaksanaan pedak api; (2) Nilai karakter tanggung jawab tercermin dari sikap tanggung jawab orang tua memberikan rasa aman dengan mengadakan tradisi pedak api serta memberikan nama yang baik; (3) Nilai karakter cinta tanah air yang tercermin dari sikap Masyarakat sasak di Dusun Salut yang masih melestarikan tradisi pedak api; (4) Nilai karakter peduli sosial tecermin dari sikap Masyarakat sasak Dusun Salut saling tolong menolong saat ada pelaksanaan tradisi pedak api

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk melatih agar para pendidik menemukan cara baru dalam mengidentifikasi dan pendampingan dalam memformulasikan, dan menangani anak berkebutuhan khusus yang dihadapi pendidik di wilayah Cikarang Timur. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan meliputi metode pelatihan serta observasi berbasis partisipatif dan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara. Hasil dari kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi bagi permasalahan yang dihadapi pendidik dan perubahan pengetahuan serta perbaikan dalam pendampingan anak berkebutuhan khusus. Latar belakang bahwa guru membutuhkan pengetahuan dan pengalaman dalam menangani Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus. Pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang anak berkebutuhan khusus ini seharusnya dimiliki guru jika guru berlatar belakang dari pendidikan luar biasa, namun pada kenyataanya guru PAUD banyak yang bukan berlatar belakang pendidikan khusus dan belum mendapatkan pelatihan khusus tentang anak berkebutuhan khusus.Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah pendidik dapat memahami, menerapkan dan melakukan peningkatan pengetahuan dan peterampilan, peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran, monitoring dan evaluasi bagi Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of applying augmented reality media using the ARGEO Learning application on the mathematics learning outcomes of class IX students of SMP Negeri 7 Mataram in the 2024/2025 academic year. This research is an experimental study. The sample of this study was class IX B as the experimental class and IX D as the control class selected using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. The data collection technique in this study used a mathematics learning outcome test. The experimental class was given treatment by applying augmented reality media using the ARGEO Learning application. While the control class used manipulative object props as learning media. The data analysis used in this study was the t-test (independent sample t-test) polled variance. The results showed that the average value of the experimental class was higher than the average value of the control class where ≥ , then was accepted which means there was a difference in the average learning outcomes between students in the experimental class and students in the control class. From these differences, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the application of augmented reality media using the ARGEO Learning application on the mathematics learning outcomes of class IX students of SMPN 7 Mataram in the 2024/2025 academic year.

Abstract

Landasan filosofis sains, yang mencakup kerangka teoritis, paradigma ilmiah, dan asumsi fundamental, sebagian besar bertanggung jawab atas hasil dan proses sains. Ketiga hal tersebut menjadi landasan filosofis apa yang mampu memberikan suatu sistem, arah dan gaya pada ilmu pengetahuan selanjutnya. Dari sudut pandang filosofis, pandangan dunia Islam pada hakikatnya merupakan asumsi teologis-metafisik atau hard core dalam ilmu pendidikan Islam. Inilah ciri khas yang membedakannya dengan sekolah umum. Anggapan mistik filosofis tersebut dapat dikaitkan dengan permasalahan al-sawabit (yang ditata), sedangkan standar dan spekulasi dapat dikaitkan dengan al-mutahlawwil (yang berubah). Dengan pandangan dunia seperti ini, pengajaran Islam sebenarnya ingin mengenal perbedaan-perbedaan antar dakwah yang mendekat. dengan metodologi yang logis.
