Abstract

The goal of this study is to describe the effect of application the mind mapping learning model on the mathematical creative thinking skills of fourth grade students at elementary school using a Nonequivalent control group in experimental research. 34 students from class IV A (the experimental class) and 35 students from class IV C (the control class) from SD Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak made up the research sample. Data collection methods using instruments like essay tests and measurement methods. According to the findings of a statistical analysis. The experimental class's pre-test and post-test results were 36 and 67, respectively. Pre test and post test results for the control group scores were 40 and 55, respectively. Based on the results of the t-test calculation, tcount (4.202)> ttable (1.996) (α = 5% and dk = 67), Ha is then approved. Results are up to 0.7 in the medium criteria according to the effect size calculation. Thus, it can be said that the use of the mind mapping learning paradigm has a beneficial effect on class IV elementary school students' capacity for creative mathematical thought.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the utilization of the school library as a learning resource for students at State Elementary School 12 South Pontianak. The research method used was descriptive with a qualitative research form. The data sources of this research were Librarians and Teachers of State Elementary School 12 South Pontianak and the data were the results of interviews and observations with school Librarians and Teachers. The data collection techniques in this research were non-participatory observation techniques, semi-structured interview techniques, and documentation. The data collection instrument in this study was the researcher himself as the main instrument using observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentation. Based on the data from observations and interviews, the utilization of the school library as a learning resource for students has been well implemented. The supporting factors are school library facilities and infrastructure, access to the school library. While the inhibiting factors are the absence of library membership cards and interest students to utilize the school library as a learning resource.

Abstract

The research carried out aims to develop questions in learning activities in the form of High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) questions created for class V learning at SDN 36 South Pontianak which meet the requirements to help evaluate learning activities in the 2013 curriculum. This research method is a method RnD with the model namely ADDIE. This research data was obtained by involving 2 classes with the first class having 10 students and the second class having 20 students with a total of 30 class V students at the South Pontianak 36 State Elementary School, 1 material and language expert validator, 1 construct expert validator. The techniques for collecting data in this research are interviews and questionnaires. The results after the research show that the process of developing High Order Thinking Skill HOTS questions in thematic learning activities in class V Elementary School has gone through 4 stages of the ADDIE model research from the 5 stages. The HOTS question product validity activity resulted in very feasible criteria with an average score of 95% for the material and language aspects and 96% with very feasible criteria for the construct aspect. After carrying out validity tests, reliability tests, differential power analysis, and item difficulty level tests, the results obtained were 50 questions developed which had high reliability with an average of 0.897, good item differential power with an average of 0.377, and medium difficulty level test with an average of 0.585. So it can be said that the questions developed are appropriate and have been declared to meet the HOTS characteristics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the aplication of process skills in mathematical learning on the learning outcomes of 4th grade students of Primary School Negeri 31 Pontianak Utara. The method used in this study is an experimental method with quasi experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The sample in the study was grade IV A and grade IV B students, each class numbering 19 students. The data collection technique on this study uses measurement techniques and the data collection tool used is a written test in the form of a description. Based on the data analysis, the average post-test experimental class was 79.58 and the control class was 54. From the results of testing the hypothesis using the formula polled variance obtained thitung (5,69) < ttable (2,028), this proves that there is a difference in the post-test values of the experimental class and the control class. To analyze how much the application of the process skills approach in mathematical learning affects the learning outcomes, the effect size formula is used, obtained = 1.54 based on the criteria including the high category. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of skills approach in mathematical learning exerts a high influence on students' learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research and development aims to produce a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model-oriented Student Worksheet (LKPD) product for the Science and Social Studies (IPAS) subject, specifically focusing on the topic of the influence of forces on objects for fourth-grade elementary school students. The objective is to create a valid and suitable tool to assist the learning process within the Independent Learning Curriculum. The method employed is the research and development (R&D) approach, adapting the ADDIE model and modifying it into ADD. The research sample consists of 2 validators and 24 students. Data collection techniques include questionnaires and interviews. The results of the research and development received feasibility assessments from 2 validators, with an average score of 4 for the didactic aspect, categorized as "Highly Feasible". The aspect of suitability regarding the orientation of the problem-based learning model obtained an average score of 3.95, also categorized as "Highly Feasible". The construction aspect received an average score of 3.83, likewise categorized as "Highly Feasible". Additionally, the design aspect obtained an average score of 3.85, also categorized as "Highly Feasible", for the developed PBL-oriented LKPD. These results are supported by the readability test and student response towards the LKPD, which yielded excellent results. The readability test obtained a percentage score of 84.98%, categorized as "Very Good". In conclusion, it can be inferred that the PBL-oriented LKPD is suitable for use in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aimed to produce project-based learning Student Worksheets (LKPD) on social and cultural diversity material in Indonesia grade IV SDN 03 Pontianak Selatan which is suitable to be used to help the learning process in the independent curriculum. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method by adapting the ADDIE model. The subject of the study was a project-based learning LKPD on social and cultural diversity material in Indonesia, which was tested on 28 (twenty-eight) grade IV students and 2 grade IV teachers. Data collection techniques in this study are measurements and interviews—data measurement tools in the form of response questionnaires and interview guidelines. From the needs analysis, it was found that the LKPD used by teachers had not been designed by themselves; instead, they had been using available LKPDs. Teachers also complained when using these LKPDs because they did not explain the steps of the activities that students should do comprehensively. Additionally, teachers stated that materials containing various forms of social and cultural diversity in Indonesia are challenging to deliver due to the vast diversity spread throughout the Indonesian territory.  Before being tested, the product was validated by validators who then obtained a feasibility assessment of material expert validators on the content feasibility aspect of 91.25% with the "Very Valid" criteria, linguist validators on the linguistic feasibility aspect of 93% with the "Very Valid" criteria, and design experts on the graphic feasibility aspect of 95.71% with the "Very Valid" criteria. Furthermore, product trials through responses obtained "Very Decent" from teachers amounted to 95.83%. In comparison, responses from small group students amounted to 83.85% with the criteria "Very Good," and large group responses amounted to 86.75% with the criteria "Very Good". Thus, it is concluded that project-based learning student worksheets on social diversity and crocodile materials in Indonesia are very feasible to be used in the learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to increase the knowledge and understanding of prospective elementary school teachers in preparing learning tools based on the Independent Curriculum and to determine the participants' response to the training activities carried out. The method used is training and hands-on practice. With the stages of activity consisting of the preparation stage, activity implementation stage, and activity evaluation. The instruments used were a preliminary study questionnaire and a training participant response questionnaire. Training activities were carried out at the Shanti Bhuana Institute, Bengkayang Regency with a total of 70 prospective elementary school teachers. The results of the training showed that 67.2% of participants felt very helpful and 32.8% answered helpful, indicating that this training was declared useful for prospective elementary school teachers and motivated prospective teachers to develop their own learning tools so as to improve the quality of education in Bengkayang Regency.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a cultural and civic literacy e-book as a supplement to implementing the independent curriculum in grade IV elementary school. The e-book development method used is the research and development (R&D) method. The development steps at this research stage take the Thiagarajan 4D model (define, design, development and dissemination). This research used three data collection techniques, namely, observation techniques, interview techniques, and questionnaires. The define stage is a plan that will be carried out in the initial stage, researchers will study the applicable curriculum (independent curriculum). In the curriculum there are competencies to be achieved. This curriculum analysis is used to determine the competencies used in developing the e-book. The next stage, namely the planning stage, begins with designing the development of the e-book. This process begins with designing the e-book format, creating a validation sheet, and focuses on designing the e-book development design with the specified material. At this stage of product development, the e-book is ready and in accordance with input from validators, and has gone through practical testing from teachers and students. At this stage of dissemination or dissemination, the e-book product is already a final product for class IV teachers. In this research, the dissemination carried out by researchers was limited to several schools in Pontianak City. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-book literasi budaya dan kewargaan sebagai suplemen penerapan kurikulum merdeka di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Metode pengembangan e-book yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development/ R&D). Langkah-langkah pengembangan pada tahapan penelitian ini mengambil model 4D Thiagarajan (define, design, development, dan dissemination). Pada penelitian ini memakai tiga teknik pengumpulan data, yaitu, teknik observasi, Teknik wawancara, dan angket (kuesioner). Tahap define merupakan rencana yang akan dilakukan pada tahap awal, peneliti akan mengkaji kurikulum yang berlaku (kurikulum merdeka). Pada kurikulum terdapat kompetensi yang ingin dicapai. Analisis kurikulum ini digunakan untuk penentuan pada kompetensi yang digunakan pada pengembangan e-book tersebut. Pada tahap berikutnya, yaitu tahap perencanaan ini dimulai dengan merancang pengembangan e-book. Tapan ini di mulai dengan merancang format e-book, membuat lembar validasi, dan di fokuskan kepada perancangan desain pengembangan e-book dengan materi yang sudah di tentukan. Pada tahap pengembangan produk ini, dimana e-book sudah jadi dan sudah sesuai dengan masukan dari validator, dan sudah melalui uji coba kepratisan dari guru dan siswa. Pada tahap diseminasi atau penyebarluasan ini dimana produk e-book sudah perupa produk akhir kepada guru kelas IV. Pada penelitian ini, penyebarluasan yang dilakukan oleh peneliti secara terbatas pada beberapa sekolah di Pontianak Kota.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menghasilkan produk bahan ajar interaktif dengan mengkolaborasikan teknologi digital yakni berbasis komputer yang layak dan praktis untuk digunakan di MIN 3 Pontianak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan metode yang mengadopsi model dari Thiagarajan, 4D yakni Define (pendefinisian), Design (perancangan), Development (pengembangan), Dissemination (penyebarluasan). Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini berupa observasi, kuesioner atau angket, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah hasil angket respons siswa. Berdasarkan hasil angket respon siswa pada kelayakan mendapatkan persentase rata-rata bahan ajar interaktif berbasis komputer sebenar 98% dengan kualifikasi sangat layak. Dan kepraktisan mendapatkan persentase rata-rata bahan ajar interaktif berbasis komputer adalah 98% dengan kualifikasi sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan bahan ajar interaktif berbasis komputer di kelas 4 MIN 3 Pontianak layak digunakan.Kata Kunci:  Pengembangan, Bahan ajar, Interaktif, KomputerABSTRACTThis study aims to develop and produce interactive teaching material products by collaborating digital technology, namely computer-based, which are feasible and practical for use at MIN 3 Pontianak. Abstract

This research aims to analyze people's understanding and attitudes towards the importance of drinking water in maintaining health. The aim of this research is to determine the public's understanding of the importance of drinking water for the health of students' bodies. The method used is descriptive quantitative with a survey approach, data collected through questionnaires is then distributed online to 40 respondents. The results of the analysis show that all respondents have a good understanding of the positive impact of water, with 100% of respondents agreeing that lack of water can cause dehydration. As many as 75% of respondents think that children need to consume more water than adults, while 95% believe that not all drinks are as good as water. Apart from that, 97.5% of respondents admitted that consuming enough water can improve concentration and maintain the function of body organs. Although awareness about the importance of water is quite good, further guidance needs to be carried out to ensure healthy water consumption habits, especially among teenagers and children. It is hoped that this research can increase public awareness of the importance of consuming enough water in everyday life.
