Abstract

Pertimbangan dalam pembayaran hutang adalah suatu hal yang sangat penting, karena jika perusahaan tidak dapat membayar hutang sesuai jatuh tempo maka akan menimbulkan risiko kepailitan. Dengan demikian perlu dilakukan riset ini, sehingga perusahaan dapat mempertimbangkan kebijakan hutang agar tidak timbul risiko yang tidak diinginkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menguji pengaruh Firm Size, Profitability dan Leverage terhadap Debt Maturity Structure. Metode penghimpunan data menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan diperoleh 61 sampel perusahaan dari 124 populasi perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di ISSI periode 2017-2019. Model analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil dari uji t menunjukkan bahwa Firm Size berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Debt Maturity Structure, Profitability berpengaruh negatif dan siginifikan terhadap Debt Maturity Structure dan Leverage tidak berpengaruh terhadap Debt Maturity Structure. Pada uji F menunjukkan bahwa nilai Fhitung > Ftabel (3,516 > 2,65), sehingga secara simultan Firm Size, Profitability dan Leverage berpengaruh positif dan siginifikan terhadap Debt Maturity Structure. Dengan demikian sebelum berhutang, perusahaan perlu mempertimbangkan Firm Size, Profitability dan Leverage agar mampu membayar hutang sesuai dengan jatuh tempo yang dibebankan.

Abstract

It is undeniable that the high unemployment caused by the imbalance between the number of employment and labor force encourages people to work as migrant workers. In 2016, East Java province was the third largest supplier of migrants in Indonesia and Tulungagung contributed 4,962 inhabitants. This phenomenon is interesting to analyze the utilization of income sent to families in their country. The data used was a primary data conducted by the survey method to 100 respondents. The selection of research sites (sub-district and village) was carried out by simple random sampling while the respondent selection was done by systematic random sampling technique. To deepen the findings of data conducted indepth interviews with 10 informants.  Moreover, the results revealed that remittances were used by the family for daily consumption needs, investment in children’s education, religious ceremonies, home reparation, production activities and others. The authors recommend establishing a "migrant family community" comprising: (1). Rehabilitation of the social culture of migrant workers' families and the provision of "business motivation training", (2). Entrepreneurship training, (3). Abstract

This study focuses on the messages conveyed in Ahok-Djarot’s campaign video on Youtube social media for the second round of the 2017 DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election by exploring and analyzing the elements of the icons, the indexes, the symbols, the lyrics, and the storyline using Peirce's semiotics based on the visual methodology. Various messages that have been conveyed through the video with the title “Video Kampanye Ahok-Djarot: Pastikan Pancasila Hadir di Jakarta” (Ahok-Djarot’s Campaign Video: Ensure Pancasila is Present in Jakarta) are very interesting to study because the video has become a viral video during the heating up political climate for the second round of the 2017 DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election. A form of support for Ahok-Djarot and also a form of criticism for the current condition of Jakarta articulated through a 2-minutes video with visual images as well as audio lyrics with subtitles packaged interestingly. The results obtained from the analysis are; when Ahok-Jarot’s campaign video for the second round of the 2017 DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election is mapped, it has three main scenes and each scene tries to convey a message to the public, especially the Jakarta citizens. The first scene shows that the current condition of Jakarta is still intolerant and tends to discriminate against minorities. The second scene tries to show that Jakarta should really hold the motto "Bhineka Tunggal Ika" (Unity in Diversity) and should not just use it as a mere motto. The third scene tries to show that Ahok-Jarot are the suitable leaders for the Jakarta citizens because Ahok has worked for Jakarta and has put real efforts for Jakarta. Moreover, Ahok-Djarot is a pair of candidates who can solve the problems described in the previous scene. In general, the issue raised in this controversial video is the issue of intolerance currently considered as a big problem for the Jakarta citizens.  Keywords: Semiotics, Intolerance, Political Campaign, Youtube Social Media, Ahok-Djarot, Jakarta

Abstract

Vulnerability is an important aspect of national development. Failure to identify and manage vulnerabilities makes programs or policies designed by the government, companies, or non-governmental organizations run not as expected. This study aims to provide an understanding of definitions, sources and forms, identification methods, and interventions in managing risk to minimize vulnerability in the community. This study uses a systematic literature review method with inclusion criteria based on keywords: vulnerability, social risk, and social protection. The inclusion and exclusion criteria include: type of publication, year, accessibility, relevance, methodology and publication contribution. Vulnerability is a condition that makes a community easily affected by various threats. These threats consist of external risks such as the natural environment, social and demographic composition as well as internal risks such as economic conditions, physical and mental health. Both external and internal risks are closely related. Identification is carried out to map and categorize not only based on the causes and forms of vulnerability, but also on the magnitude of the impact, the number of victims and the possible losses. These data are important to determine the priority scale in determining the intervention that must be carried out. Preventive interventions are needed at low risk levels, promotive at moderate risk levels, and protective at high risk levels. If prevention, support and protection are no longer possible, transformative interventions are needed to keep communities away from crises.

Abstract

Abstrak: UMKM (Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah) merupakan usaha (bisnis) yang umumnya dilakukan oleh masyarakat dalam skala rumah tangga. UMKM di Indonesia memiliki andil yang cukup besar dalam meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat, karena UMKM dapat membantu Indonesia ketika mengalami krisis ekonomi tahun 1998. Pandemi covid-19 yang dimulai dari tahun 2020 hingga 2021 ini, menjadi penyebab UMKM di berbagai daerah mengalami penurunan pendapatan. Pada masa pandemi covid-19 beberapa pengusaha UMKM yang mengalami penurunan penghasilan antara lain seperti pelaku bisnis pariwisata, transportasi atau pun kuliner. Pelaku UMKM pada masa pandemi covid-19 dapat memaksimalkan penjualannya menggunakan media online dan para pelanggan dapat menilai produk yang dibeli dengan cara memberikan bintang untuk meningkatkan penjualan agar dikenal masyarakat secara luas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data studi kepustakaan. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui UMKM yang tepat pada masa pandemi yaitu dengan mengembangkan produk melalui e-commerce, mempromosikan produk dengan pemasaran digital, mempertahankan Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM), dan memperbaiki kualitas dan pelayanan produk maupun jasa. Kata Kunci: Pemberdayaan UMKM; Pandemi Covid-19; UMKM Pada Masa Pandemi. Abstract: MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) are businesses (businesses) that are generally carried out by the community on a household scale. MSME in Indonesia have a significant role in improving the community's economy, because MSME can help Indonesia when it experienced the economic crisis in 1998. The COVID-19 pandemic, which started from 2020 to 2021, has caused MSME in various regions to experience a decline in income. During the COVID-19 pandemic, several MSME entrepreneurs experienced a decline in their income, such as tourism, transportation or culinary businesses. MSME actors during the COVID-19 pandemic can maximize their sales using online media and customers can assess the products purchased by giving stars to increase sales so that they are widely known to the public. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection techniques literature study. The results of this study indicate that the right strategy for community empowerment through MSME during the pandemic is to develop products through e-commerce, promote products with digital marketing, maintain Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM), and improve the quality and service of products and services. Abstract

The efforts made to improve the quality of orphans and poor people through the genius studio education program are ways or forms that are carried out in order to meet the needs in the form of quality free tutoring and the learning system focuses on mathematics and morals so that the quality of education for orphans and dhuafa increases. From this background, research was carried out to examine the formulation of problems, including: 1) How the efforts of the of the National Amil Zakat Institute for Yatim Mandiri Branch of Tulungagung to improve the quality of orphans and poor people through the genius studio education program, 2) What are the obstacles and how the solutions are carried out by the Yatim Mandiri National Amil Zakat Institute, Tulungagung Branch in improving the quality of orphans and poor people through the genius studio education program. This research is a field research using a qualitative approach, in which data is obtained through observation, interviews, and also documentation. This research was conducted at LAZNAS Yatim Mandiri Tulungagung Branch. The results of this study indicate that, firstly: efforts made in order to improve the quality of education for orphans and poor people in the genius studio, namely the presence of educators, providing motivation, encouraging them to be independent in working on questions, given handcraft training, given conceptual learning assistance, then conduct an evaluation. Second: the obstacles faced in improving the quality of education for orphans and poor people include lack of cooperation between the institution and the children's environment, the number of similar programs with LAZ or BAZ so that these programs can compete, funding constraints, lack of enthusiasm for learning, and lack of encouragement from families to take part in the tutoring process at the genius studio.

Abstract

Terdapat banyak hal yang dilakukan Indonesia dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonominya. Salah satu carayang dilakukannya adalah menstabilkan tingkat kenaikan inflasi dan tingkat minat investasi, di mana saat inibanyak sekali negara-negara yang berusaha meningkatkan laju pertumbuhan ekonomi negaranya dengan caramenaikan output secara berkesinambungan dan yang masih menjadi perbincangan yakni mengenai tingkat minat investasi di pasar modal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji: 1)pengaruh inflasi terhadappertuumbuhan ekonomi nasional 2)pengaruh saham syariah terhadap pertuumbuhan ekonomi nasional3)pengaruh sukuk terhadap pertuumbuhan ekonomi nasional, 4)pengaruh reksadana syariah terhadappertuumbuhan ekonomi nasional 5)pengaruh inflasi, saham syariah, sukuk, dan reksadana syariah secarabersama-sama terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional pada tahun 2013-2020. Populasi dalam penelitian iniadalah beberapa sumber data yang diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistika (BPS), Bank Indonesia (BI), danOtoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) dengan alamat website www.ojk.go.id, www.bi.go.id dan www.bps.go.id setiaptriwullan nya yang terdaftar pada periode 2013-2020, berdasarkan jumlah sampel yang digunakan adalahdengan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu dengan mengambil sumber data sesuai kriteria yang ditentukan olehpenulis pada variabel-variabel X (inflasi, saham syariah, sukuk, dan reksadana syariah). Penggunaan datadiambil dari data sekunder, yaitu data time series yang telah di publikasikan selama periode 2013-2020. Metodepenelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif sedangkan jenis penelitiannya tergolong dalam asosiatif, dan menggunakan teknik analisis data yaitu linier berganda. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan uji t didapatkan hasil bahwa variabel saham syariah, sukuk dan reksadana syariah berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional, sedangkan pada variabel inflasi didapatkan hasil dari uji t berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional. Sementara uji f menunjukkan pengaruh secara simultan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional.

Abstract

Abstract. Batik industry is one of the leading industries in Indonesia. Since UNESCO declared batik as one of the cultural treasures and identity of the Indonesian nation, batik production has increased in line with increasing market demand. One of the rapidly growing batik industries in Indonesia is the batik industry located in Lawean Village, Solo, Central Java. The industry uses a putting out system where batik workers do their work in their respective house production. Through this system, business owners no longer need to compile an environmental impact analysis, provide social security for workers, pay overtime, work space, and work equipment. However, this putting out system creates many problems, from environmental pollution, deprivation of social rights for workers, to exploitation of workers by business owners. This study aims to reveal forms of injustice to workers in the home batik industry, Lawean, Solo, Central Java through a constructivism (critical) approach. Primary data obtained through in-depth interviews on 14 research subjects and also supported by secondary data from previous studies. Determination of informants is done by using the snowball technique. The theory used in this study is the theory of power relations by Michael Foucault. The dominance of power that leads to injustice (exploitation), cannot be separated from the presence of persuasive power (the owner of the batik business who controls the workers) in the midst of the Lawean Batik Industry. This dominance of power occurs because of the inequality of intelligence and mastery of information technology between batik business owners and workers. Batik business owners have access/network to sell batik products both domestically and abroad, while workers do not have access/network to sell batik they produce directly. On the other hand, the "ewuh-pakewuh" culture that is embraced by the Lewean community further exacerbates this domination.Keywords: batik, home industry, exploitation, power relationAbstrak. Industri batik menjadi salah satu industri unggulan dalam perekonomian Indonesia. Sejak diakuinya batik sebagai salah satu kekayaan budaya dan identitas Bangsa Indonesia oleh UNESCO, produksi batik terus mengalami peningkatan seiring dengan semakin meningkatnya permintaan batik. Salah satu industri batik yang berkembang pesat di Indonesia adalah industri batik yang berada di Desa Lawean, Solo, Jawa Tengah. Industri batik di lokasi tersebut, secara umum menggunakan sistem putting out di mana para pekerja batik mengerjakan pekerjaannya di rumah masing-masing. Dengan penerapan sistem ini, para pengusaha batik tidak perlu lagi menyiapkan amdal, jaminan sosial bagi para pekerja, uang lembur, ruang untuk bekerja, serta peralatan untuk bekerja. Penerapan sistem putting out ini, ternyata menimbulkan banyak sekali masalah, mulai dari pencemaran lingkungan, terampasnya hak-hak sosial bagi para pekerja sampai pada eksploitasi para pekerja oleh pengusaha batik.Studi ini merupakan studi konstruktivisme (kritis) untuk mengungkap bentuk-bentuk ketidakadilan yang dialami oleh para pekerja di industri batik rumahan, Lawean, Solo, Jawa Tengah. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang diperoleh melalui hasil wawancara mendalam (indepth interview) terhadap 14 orang subyek penelitian dan didukung pula oleh data skunder dari penelitian terdahulu. Teknik penentuan informan menggunakan teknik snowball. Adapun teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori relasi kekuasaan dari Michael Foucault. Terjadinya prakter dominasi kekuasaan yang berujung pada terjadinya ketidakadilan (eksploitasi), tidak terlepas dari hadirnya kekuasaan yang bersifat persuatif (juragan batik menguasai pembatik) di tengah-tengah Industri Batik Lawean. Praktek dominasi kekuasaan ini terjadi karena adanya ketimpangan intelegensi (kecerdasan) dan ketimpangan penguasaan teknologi informasi antara juragan batik dengan pembatik. Juragan batik memiliki akses/jaringan untuk menjual produk batik ke konsumen dalam negeri maupun luar negeri, sedangkan para pekerja pembatik merasa tidak mampu menjual barang hasil produksi ke pasar. Budaya sungkan/ewuh-pakewuh yang dianut oleh masyarakat Lewean semakin memperparah praktek dominasi kekuasaan ini.Kata Kunci: Batik, Industri Rumahan, Eksploitasi, Relasi Kuasa

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze community empowerment programs using the ABCD (asset based community development) approach or theory to develop the potential of tourism villages in Mojokambang Village. This study uses a qualitative approach, the source of the data obtained in this study comes from primary and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through the interview process, while secondary data came from books and journals that support the research results. The results showed that Mojokambang Village has potential assets to be developed into a tourist village through optimizing the management of the “jogo kali” park. Development efforts are carried out through an empowerment program based on the results of data identified with the ABCD approach. Directly or indirectly, the empowerment program carried out by the manager together with all stakeholders has had a positive impact on the economic welfare of the empowered community, starting from the economic, psychological, and social aspects. The empowerment program that was carried out was running quite optimally and had a positive impact on empowered communities before the COVID-19 pandemic. However, during a pandemic, the park's operational activities and empowerment programs went into a vacuum, giving rise to several social phenomena and potential problems. However, with the improving situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, park managers and residents of Mojokambang Village are again aggressively activating the operational activities of the "jogo kali" park, so that visitors begin to come back and empowered residents to return to their income and their economic welfare gradually stabilizes.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 mengakibatkan berbagai sektor ekonomi mengalami dampak negatif seperti penurunan penjualan dan penurunan produktivitas. Pasar Tradisional Megaluh merupakan sumber utama ekonomi masyarakat Desa Megaluh yang mengalami penurunan pendapatan yang signifikan sejak tahun 2020 hingga pertengahan tahun 2021. Untuk memulihkan volume penjualan, dibutuhkan strategi khusus terutama dibidang marketing. Berdasarkan teori marketing mix 7P, strategi yang bisa dilakukan adalah strategi 6P yaitu meningkatkan kualitas produk. Memberi penyesuain harga dengan promo, memberi desain tempat yang nyaman dan bersih, promosi sesame pedagang dan media sosial, meningkatkan SDM dengan memberikan penyuluhan usaha sukses untuk para pedagang, melakukan proses yang mumpuni dan dan pelayanan aman mulai dari penyediaan produk hingga penjualan. Riset ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis strategi yang dilakukan oleh Pasar Tradisional Megaluh dalam mengembalikan tingkat penjualannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan sumber data diperoleh dari observasi, wawancara dan studi pustaka. Berdasarkan riset yang telah dilakukan, ditemukan bahwa Pasar Tradisional Megaluh berhasil meningkatkan penjualan dengan menggunakan strategi marketing mix yaitu: (1) Meningkatkan kualitas produk, (2) menyesuaikan harga dengan memberi promo, (3) mendesain tampat menjadi lebih bersih dan nyaman, (4)promosi lewat bantuan sesama pedagang dan juga media social, (5) memberikan penyuluhaan tentang bisnis kepada SDM yang tersedia di Pasar Tradisional Megaluh, (6) melakukan proses yang rinci dan tepat mulai dari menyediakan produk, meningkatkan kualitas produk hingga penjualan.
