Abstract

The development of digital technology in the Society 5.0 era has changed the paradigm of human resource (HR) management in modern organizations. One form of innovation that is growing rapidly is the implementation of Electronic Human Resource Management (e-HRM), namely the use of information technology to support key HR functions such as recruitment, training, performance appraisal, and employee administration. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature review method to explore and describe the influence of e-HRM on employee performance based on the results of previous research. The results of the study indicate that e-HRM plays a significant role in increasing the efficiency, transparency, and accuracy of HR processes and encourages improved employee performance through automation, data-based decision making, and strengthening digital communication. However, the success of e-HRM implementation is greatly influenced by organizational readiness, HR digital competence, and support for a work culture that is adaptive to technological change.

Abstract

The rapid escalation of the Industrial Revolution has positioned digital transformation as a strategic imperative across industries, significantly influencing the fundamental reorientation of Human Resource Management (HRM) practices. This study aims to provide a comparative analysis of how digitalization—particularly through the adoption of Industrial 4.0–based Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)—enhances the effectiveness of Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) functions. Using a systematic literature review and qualitative descriptive analysis, this research synthesizes conceptual frameworks, functional impacts, and implementation challenges. The results indicate that HRIS 4.0 functions as a transformative infrastructural bridge that requires integration within a holistic framework aligned with the efficiency demands of Industry 4.0 and the human-centered principles of Society 5.0. Core SHRM functions have undergone significant metamorphosis due to advancements in AI and data analytics, contributing to operational improvements—particularly enhancing recruitment efficiency by up to 67%. Nevertheless, implementation challenges persist, including digital skill gaps and data security risks. Therefore, sustaining SHRM effectiveness in this era requires the ethical alignment of HRIS 4.0, positioning HR professionals—especially HR Business Partners (HRBPs)—as strategic catalysts who leverage AI-driven strategies while maintaining a strong focus on human capability development and value creation.

Abstract

A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted to analyze the dynamic relationship between Sharia Fintech and Consumer Trust in Indonesia, synthesizing findings from eleven academic articles published between 2020 and 2025. The thematic synthesis confirms that Trust is a fundamental prerequisite for successful adoption and is driven by two main pillars: Sharia Compliance Trust (The Syariah Trust), which is fueled by transparent contracts and strong Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS) governance, and Technical/Functional Trust (The Technical Trust), which is heavily influenced by Perceived Risk (data security) and system quality. The findings indicate that Trust is a strong predictor of Adoption Intention and positively correlates with increased Financial Inclusion among MSME actors. However, the research highlights significant contradictions regarding the direct role of Literacy and Knowledge as antecedents of Trust, suggesting a need for further research. Recommendations are directed towards the necessity of qualitative research to understand the process of Trust recovery, and for platforms to invest in robust compliance governance and functional digital literacy education.

Abstract

The quality of higher education, particularly in the health sector, is highly dependent on lecturer competence. This study analyzes the implementation of Human Resource Management (HRM) in developing lecturer competence at the Darussalam Martapura Midwifery Academy, identifying the strategies and obstacles encountered. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, primary data were obtained through in-depth interviews with key informants and supported by the analysis of real lecturer demographic documents. The HRM implementation at Akbid Darussalam Martapura was found to be effective in maintaining basic pedagogical competence (100% internal workshop participation) but failed in strategic career development. This gap is evidenced by 0% of lecturers holding a Doctoral (S3) degree and a very low realization of external clinical training (5.6%). This failure is attributed to a generally planned Training Needs Analysis (TNA) that is not integrated with specific S3 needs, and a performance evaluation system focusing on administration rather than the real impact of competence improvement. The main root cause is budget and resource limitations hindering the provision of scholarships and financial support for further studies. The current contribution of HRM merely maintains the status quo, demanding a revision of the HRM SOP, allocation of a special budget for S3 scholarships, and improvement of impact-based performance evaluation systems.

Abstract

The world of education, especially in elementary schools, faces new challenges during the Society 5.0 era. As technology and digitalization advance, principals must be adaptable, innovative, and humane. This analysis discusses how Islamic Human Resource Management (IHRM) principles can be optimized for principal leadership in the Society 5.0 era. IHRM offers a relevant approach to building leadership that is not only professional but also grounded in Islamic values. By definition, Society 5.0 is a human-centered society based on advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and big data. To implement these era-era values in elementary schools, educators must lead the digital transformation without neglecting the psychological, moral, and social needs of teachers and students. In other words, technology should not replace essential human interaction, but should be used to facilitate the educational process. According to IHRM, leadership is a combination of management skills with Islamic values such as justice (al-'adl), trustworthiness, ihsan, and deliberation (shura). As leaders, principals have a moral responsibility to create an educational environment that is just, honest, and fosters a sense of solidarity. To maintain a balance between the application of technology and the development of students' character, these values are important.

Abstract

Urolithiasis is one of the most common urological conditions encountered in clinical practice and continues to show a rising global trend. The wide variation in clinical presentation, along with rapid advances in diagnostic and therapeutic technologies, necessitates a comprehensive understanding of its management approaches. This literature review aims to summarize recent developments in the diagnosis and management of urolithiasis and to compare the effectiveness of various interventional modalities. A narrative literature review was conducted using articles published between 2022 and 2025, identified through PubMed and Google Scholar. Keywords included urolithiasis, diagnosis, management, ESWL, URS, and PCNL. Relevant articles were selected based on topical relevance, publication quality, and availability of clinically meaningful data. Non-contrast CT scan remains the most accurate diagnostic modality for detecting urinary stones, whereas ultrasonography remains valuable in specific populations and resource-limited settings. In terms of treatment, ESWL is effective for small to medium-sized stones with low density, URS demonstrates higher success rates for ureteral stones, and PCNL remains the primary option for large or complex stones. Recurrence prevention through metabolic evaluation, dietary modification, and pharmacologic therapy significantly reduces the risk of stone formation. Diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for urolithiasis have advanced considerably; However, optimal modality selection must be tailored to individual patient and stone characteristics. Personalized approaches and sustained preventive strategies are essential to improving clinical outcomes and reducing recurrence rates.

Abstract

Nurse productivity is a crucial factor in improving the quality of hospital services, particularly in inpatient units with high service intensity. Motivation and workload are two key aspects believed to influence nurse productivity. Motivation reflects internal and external drives that encourage nurses to work optimally, while workload relates to the physical, mental, and administrative demands they must fulfill during their duties. This study aims to analyze the effect of motivation and workload, both partially and simultaneously, on the work productivity of nurses at RSUD Sultan Suriansyah Banjarmasin. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method through questionnaires distributed to inpatient nurses. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, including validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing (t-test and F-test). The results show that motivation has a positive and significant effect on nurse productivity, while workload also has a significant influence but tends to reduce productivity when it exceeds the nurses’ capacity. Simultaneously, motivation and workload significantly affect the productivity of inpatient nurses. These findings indicate that improving nurse productivity requires strengthening motivation, providing a supportive work environment, and ensuring a proportional distribution of workload.
