Abstract

This research examines the relationship between governments in dealing with people with social welfare problems in Pekanbaru City, where researchers found symptoms of an increasing number of street children and also children in conflict with the law as part of people with social welfare problems. This research aims to determine the extent of the role of regional apparatus organizations and organizational units in the Pekanbaru city regional government in dealing with people with social welfare problem status. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach by presenting data related to intergovernmental relations which includes leading aktors, central features, authority patterns and conflict resolution methods in handling people with social welfare problems. The results of the research show that the lack of regularity and interaction between related agencies/departments in dealing with children who are in conflict with the law, the lack of attention and handling of people with social welfare problems, especially children who are in conflict with the law, has caused an increasingly massive growth in the number of children involved in legal cases in Pekanbaru City. The synergy and commitment of each relevant party in the Pekanbaru City Government is an alternative solution to problems for people with social welfare problems in the City of Pekanbaru by strengthening interactions between interested actors in the Social Service, Regional Indonesian Child Protection Commission and other related parties.

Abstract

  This study investigates the influence of self-confidence on students' mathematical representation abilities, which are essential for interpreting and communicating mathematical ideas. Employing a comparative correlational design, the research involved eighth-grade students selected through a cluster random sampling method. The data were obtained using a self-confidence questionnaire and a mathematical representation test, both of which were validated for reliability and content relevance. Data analysis was conducted using statistical techniques to examine differences in students' representation skills based on their self-confidence levels. The findings reveal that students with higher self-confidence tend to demonstrate stronger abilities in representing mathematical concepts compared to those with moderate or low self-confidence. These students are more inclined to engage in problem-solving processes, utilize multiple forms of representation, and articulate their reasoning more effectively. The results support the idea that self-confidence plays a critical role in facilitating not only motivation and engagement but also cognitive performance in mathematics. This study underscores the importance of integrating strategies that nurture self-confidence within mathematics instruction. By doing so, educators can enhance students’ abilities to represent, interpret, and apply mathematical knowledge in meaningful ways. Encouraging a positive learning environment that values effort and supports student confidence may significantly contribute to overall mathematical proficiency.

Abstract

Pembentukan Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDES) merupakan salah satu cara untuk memanfaatkan undang-undang yang memberikan kewenangan kepada pemerintah desa untuk melakukan inovasi terhadap pembangunan desa, terutama dalam meningkatkan perekonomian desa dan kesejahteraan bagi masyarakat desa. Penelitian in bertujuan mengetahui faktor penghambat perkembangan BUMDES Bina Usaha di Desa Sialang Dua Dahan Kecamatan Rengat Barat Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif (field research/field study). Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan teknik purposive sampling. Key informan berupa Kepala Desa, Direktur BUMDES, Kepala Unit Usaha, Bendahara dan Sekretaris. Teknik analisis data berupa redaksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa banyak yang menjadi faktor penghambat dalam perkembangan BUMDES Bina Usaha yakni tata kelola pengurus yang masih kurang memadai, kurangnya kerjasama dan komunikasi antara pengurus BUMDES dengan pemerintahan desa, lemahnya partisipasi masyarakat dalam mendukung proses usaha dan kualitas dan kuantitas SDM BUMDES belum memadai serta kurangnya pengawasan dari pemerintahan desa Sialang Dua Dahan. Adapun saran penelitian ini yaitu bagi pemerintahan desa harus memberikan pembinaan maupun pelatihan serta pengawasan yang maksimal terhadap pelaksana BUMDES Bina Usaha agar lebih mengenal potensi-potensi desa untuk meningkatkan program–program dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat dan meningkatkan perekonomian. Bagi pengelola BUMDES Bina Usaha perlu melakukan sosialisasi yang lebih mendalam tentang keberadaan BUMDES agar masyarakat dapat mengetahui dan memahami rencana yang dilaksanakan oleh BUMDES Bina Usaha.

Abstract

Tim peneliti di SMP Negeri 15 Palembang melakukan studi untuk mengevaluasi dampak penerapan metode Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) pada siswa kelas VII. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan tindakan kelas dengan melibatkan 32 siswa sebagai subjek. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan tes kelas. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pencapaian siswa kelas VII.5. Ketuntasan klasikal meningkat dari 34,4% pada tahap pra-siklus menjadi 59,3% pada siklus pertama, dan mencapai 84,4% pada siklus kedua. Peningkatan hasil belajar secara keseluruhan menunjukkan lonjakan sekitar 25% antara siklus I dan II. Sementara itu, persentase siswa yang belum mencapai ketuntasan menurun dari 40,6% menjadi 15,6%. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya menyesuaikan metode pembelajaran dengan tingkat kemampuan aktual siswa, terutama dalam pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang sangat diminati.

Abstract

The research aims to describe variations in language politeness when interactions occur between speakers and speech partners in the Shireen Sungkar and Oki Setiana Dewi Podcast Episode "Cerita Mertua Makes Me Nangis". The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method which in principle describes the manifestation of compliance with the principles of language politeness in the Shireen Sungkar and Oki Setiana Dewi podcast Episode of the Story of My Mother-in-law Makes Me Nangis. The data source for this research is the Shireen Sungkar and Oki Setiana Dewi Podcast on the YouTube channel The Sungkars. The data collection technique in this research is the viewing and writing technique, namely watching the podcast or object being studied and then recording all the conversations in the podcast dialogue that is spoken. The results of this research show politeness in language and contain 10 maxims of Geoffrey Leech's theory in the podcast between Shireen Sungkars and Oki Setiana Dewi, totaling 47 utterances. The podcast has been analyzed based on indicators of language politeness, so it is concluded that all the speech is included in compliance with language politeness, there is not a single speech that is a violation of language politeness because all the speech is included in the polite and very polite categories, of which there are 41 speeches and categories in the polite category. very polite there are 6 utterances. Not a single utterance was found that fell into the category of impolite or very impolite.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of the quality of facilities at STIE Ciputra Makassar on student satisfaction. This research is motivated by the important role of higher education facilities in the management of higher education institutions and the significant relationship between the quality of facilities and student satisfaction as demonstrated in previous studies. This research uses a quantitative method with a survey design. Data was collected from STIE Ciputra Makassar students through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of knowledge and understanding of the impact of campus facility quality on student satisfaction, as well as assist STIE Ciputra Makassar in improving the quality of its campus facilities, thereby enhancing student satisfaction.

Abstract

This research investigates the influence of brand awareness, brand image, product quality, and price on consumer purchasing decisions in the context of UD. Rejeki Jaya, a traditional medicine MSME that specializes in eucalyptus oil. A quantitative approach was used, with primary data collected from 53 respondents through a structured questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation, and regression analysis to identify relationships and test hypotheses. The data analysis technique was carried out using the Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach using WarpPLS version 6.0 software, to identify the significant influence of each variable. The research results show that brand awareness, brand image, product quality and price have a significant influence on purchasing decisions. This study contributes to existing knowledge by emphasizing the important role of brand awareness in MSMEs operating in niche markets. This study offers practical implications, including strategies for improving branding efforts, maintaining product quality, and optimizing prices to holistically meet consumer needs.

Abstract

Masih banyak warga Desa Alue Tho Kecamatan Krueng Sabee Kabupaten Aceh Jaya yang belum menerapkan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat, salah satunya pemberian ASI Ekslusif, MP-ASI yang tidak sesuai, pemeriksaan kesehatan tidak maksimal, kurangnya ketersediaan jamban sehat dan rendahnya kebiasaan mencuci tangan menggunakan sabun dan air mengalir. Kegiatan penyuluhan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu-ibu dan Masyarakat di Desa Alue Tho Kecamatan Krueng Sabee Kabupaten Aceh Jaya tentang perilaki hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) di rumah tangga dan diterapkannya PHBS di rumah tangga. Ibu-ibu tersebut diharapkan dapat meneruskan pengetahuannnya kepada anggota rumah tangga untuk tahu, mau dan mampu menjalankan perilaku kehidupan yang bersih dan sehat serta memiliki peran yang aktif pada gerakan di tingkat masyarakat. Tujuan utama dari tatanan PHBS di tingkat rumah tangga adalah tercapainya rumah tangga yang sehat.  Evaluasi yang dilakukan untuk menilai keberhasilan kegiatan ini terdiri dari evaluasi awal (pre-test), evaluasi proses dan evaluasi akhir (posttest). Dari nilai pretest dan posttest yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil ratarata nilai pretest sebesar 46 dan nilai posttest 88. Nilai tersebut menunjukkan telah terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan bagi ibu-ibu peserta edukasi tentang PHBS pada rumah tangga. Dengan demikian diharapkan dapat menularkan pengetahuannya pada keluarga dan masyarakat sekitar sehingga penerapan PHBS dimasyarakat bisa meningkat

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Managerial Ownership and Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) on Firm Value, and to examine the role of Return on Equity (ROE) as a moderating variable. The objects of this research are consumer goods industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period from 2019 to 2023. The sample consists of 46 companies, selected using purposive sampling, totalling 230 observational data points. Data analysis was conducted using panel data regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with EViews 12 software. The results show that, partially, managerial ownership does not have a significant effect on firm value, while DAR has a significant effect on firm value. Furthermore, ROE is not proven to moderate the effect of managerial ownership on firm value, but it does significantly moderate the relationship between DAR and firm value in a negative direction. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.1935, indicating that 19.35% of the variation in firm value can be explained by the variables in this model. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Kepemilikan Manajerial dan Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) terhadap Nilai Perusahaan, serta menguji peran Return On Equity (ROE) sebagai variabel moderasi. Objek penelitian adalah Perusahaan Industri Barang Konsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2019-2023. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 46 perusahaan dengan metode purposive sampling total 230 data observasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan regresi data panel dan Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) dengan alat pengujian EViews12. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, kepemilikan manajerial tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, sedangkan DAR berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Selain itu, ROE terbukti tidak dapat memoderasi pengaruh kepemilikan manajerial terhadap nilai perusahaan, tetapi dapat memoderasi secara signifikan hubungan antara DAR dan nilai perusahaan dengan arah negatif. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,1935 yang mengindikasikan bahwa 19,35% nilai perusahaan dapat dijelakan oleh variabel-variabel dalam model ini. Abstract

The young generation is the nation's best asset; therefore, the younger generation should be able to know and develop the potential that exists within them to build the nation's civilization and become superior leaders. This article is motivated by the author's concern for the potential of the younger generation that has not developed significantly. The purpose of this study is to examine the extent to which the concept of the SDL model in empowering the potential of students in PAI learning. The type of research used is library research. Meanwhile, the data collection techniques used were documentation in the form ofbooks, journal articles, internet, magazines, newspapers, and so on. In this study, it was found that the concept of the SDL model can empower the potential of students in PAI learning, because the SDL model causes students to have the initiative to learn independently and according to their learning style. The use of the SDL model is certainly inseparable from the role of parents and teachers. Therefore, both parents and teachers should provide various stimuli, in the form of motivation or appreciation for each process of student development.
